Nandini's POV

He said it. Oh gosh, he just confessed his love for me. To say I was shocked would be an understatement! I was feeling all kinds of emotions at the same time. Shock, surprise, relief and a bit of guilt. Guilt because I didn't say it back. I kinda dozed off on him, maybe because of those painkillers, after staring at him like a dumb idiot I am.

But the question is do I love him?
Well sure, we have great chemistry and all. And I do have strong feelings towards him. But are they so deep to be called love? Ugh, I'm confused.

When I woke up I felt much better but it was the disappointment that creeped in. I was hoping to see Manik's face as I woke up but he wasn't to be found anywhere. I changed into something better and went to the person who can help me out right now.

Yup, you guessed it right! Varun.

I entered his house to see no one there and the door was open. Music was blasting from a room. Not just anyone's room, it's Varun's room. I went in without knocking as usual but maybe I came at the wrong time.

"Ahem!" I cleared my throat and spoke, "Am I interrupting something?" I leaned against the door as I asked.

"Well obviously!" Varun said in an annoyed yet amused tone. His cheeks held a tinge of pink colour while the girl next to him looked like a tomato compared to him.

"Varun!" Sanjana exclaimed and smacked the back of his head.

"Sooo... You were both gonna KISS!" I said smirking.

"No, we were just playing tongue hockey!" Varun said sarcastically while I grimaced.

"That's gross, V. But if you guys want me to go toh I.." I trailed off when Sanjana spoke.

"No No. Nandini, Come on. It's fine. So, what happened? You look like you need some help.."

I nodded and groaned as I remembered my dilemma. I buried my face in my hands and said, "I'm an ass!"

They both laughed still confused, when I told them everything that happened, me being sick, Manik's confession and how I'm confused.

"Nandini, you're not confused from what I can see." Sanjana smirked and I frowned at her.

"Matlab?"

"I guess you're just scared! You're scared to use the big L word. Your fear is, getting hurt by someone and that's what is holding you back. And trust me it's normal." She said placing a hand on mine giving me a warm smile.

"Yes! Everything will be fine. And right now what you need is some food in your stomach, so I'm gonna ask mom to make khichdi (porridge) for you and order pizza for us." He excused himself to call Pizza Hut.

I was still a little conflicted, when Sanjana spoke sensing my discomfort, "Hey relax, okay. Listen, what you need to do is spend some alone time to figure out your feelings. If you think it's worth taking the risk, then go ahead. Because love is all about risk."

"Wow. Thank you so much Sanjana. I'm glad I bumped into you here!" I hugged her when Varu entered the room.

"Ooh, bonding without me!?"

"Aa gaya dramebaaz!"

The rest of the evening was spent with them eating pizzas while I was eating the tasteless porridge, watching random movies and their PDA (while I was gagging).

Next Morning :

Next morning was spent lazing around as no one was home and I was not allowed to go to office by Abhi bhai who called me last night. Last night, I didn't get a blink of sleep. All I could think was Manik.

Whatever he did for me yesterday was so overwhelmingly sweet. He didn't had to but he did anyway. Oh for the love of god, that guy kissed me not caring if I was sick.
I loved his eyes, because everytime I looked in his eyes I find myself melting. I loved his smile, that made me go weak in my knees. I loved his laugh, that lits up his whole face. I love how he takes care of me, like I'm some delicate doll. I love the way he looks at me, like I'm the only person in the world. I love how he kisses me, with all the love in the world held in his eyes.

I LOVE HIM! I'm in love with Manik. Aaah! I squealed loudly and did a weird little dance standing on the sofa.

I heard someone wolf whistle behind me, "I didn't know you had it in you.. I must say I'm impressed!" Manik gave his signature smirk while I gasped and groaned. My face was red due to embarrassment when I noticed what I was wearing. My old night shorts that were too short and Abhi bhai's sweatshirt.

He came closer and kissed my temple as he hugged me. "Your health seems fine now, since you are dancing and all!" He laughed at my red face and I gave him a dry look.

"Ho gaya." I said and pushed him, "Let me change quickly and come."

"Suno. Wear something appropriate for park, we're going for a picnic. I thought fresh air milega toh you'll get well soon.." I nodded smiling and ran to my room.

I threw on a pair of patterned shorts with a white crop top. I applied waterproof mascara, a little bit of kohl and grabbing my bag went down.

I locked the house and sat in the passenger seat. He drove to the outskirts of the city and said that there was some lake he knew. I don't know if it was just my imagination or something but I saw him tapping on the steering wheel nervously and fidgeting in his seat.

"Everything okay?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"Huh, yeah. Yeah, everything's fine!" He gave me a assuring smile and continued driving.

We reached the place in half an hour. It was a beautiful park with so many colourful flowers and trees and a lake nearby. He pulled out a picnic basket out of his car trunk, that I didn't know was there. We sat under a huge tree, to hide away from the sun.

"Hmm, picnic basket and all huh?" I asked as he opened it.

"Yes. What's a picnic without the typical picnic basket and lots of food. He took out sandwiches and chocolate covered strawberry. Then he took out a box of chocolates and kept it with them.

I took a bite of the sandwich, "Mm, that's so good! Yeh tumne banaya hai?" He nodded and I gave him a peck on his cheek. "It's very tasty. Thank you!"

We spent an hour goofing around, bicycling, playing around.

I ran and hid behind the tree, when someone grabbed my waist lifting me up from the ground.

"Ahhh.." I squealed and tried to wiggle out of his grasp but his grip was very tight.

"Caught ya." He whispered in my ear causing the hair on the back of my neck to stand. I giggled at the ticklish feeling and we retired to our places where we were sitting earlier.

"Maniii.." I called him in a baby voice.

"Hmm." He said absentmindedly fiddling with the basket.

"I'm starving! Ghar chale?" I leaned onto him resting my head on his shoulder and linked his arm with mine.

"Arre why didn't you tell me you were hungry. Yeh lo, you were getting so excited about these chocolates when I showed them but you didn't even open the box." He said smiling and I instantly sat straight hearing chocolates.

"Oh yeah. I totally forgot about them! Jaldi do.." I grinned excitedly while he chuckled and handed the box to me, doing a bow.

"My pleasure."

I giggled at his antics and opened the box.

I saw the letters on the chocolates, and just stopped for a second. I stared blankly at it and the next second I jumped on him, capturing his lips which caught him off guard.

He took 2-3 seconds to respond but then started kissing me fiercely. It was the most passionate kiss we have shared until now. His tongue entered my mouth relishing every corner of it. His one hand cupped my face and the other held my waist firmly.

We broke apart after what seemed like eternity, but seemed like couldn't get enough of each other. "I." Kiss. "Love." Kiss. "You." Kiss.

He pulled away for a second and looked bewildered, as if he wasn't actually expecting it, "Really." I chose to reply that with a brief nod, before our mouths connected again. Thank god, we had chosen the deserted place of the park.

"What would you have?" He asked and we both gave our orders.

"Sir, that would be Rs. 275. Thanks for coming." The girl behind the counter said in a monotone and gave a fake smile.

After our little make out session in the afternoon, we headed to McDonalds for lunch.
He took the tray in one hand and intertwined his other hand with mine. We walked to a corner table and sat down.

He gave a kiss on my hand that was clasped in his, "So.. you never replied to my question earlier?" He asked nervously.

"Which question?" I asked eating a fry with my other hand.

"The one, written on the chocolates, you know.."

I laughed, "Manik. Isn't it obvious! I mean I didn't just confess my love to you after you asked me that question. In fact, itne dino se I was waiting ki tum kab iss relationship ko official banaoge.."

"Yes!" He shouted, fist bumping in the air and everyone stared at him like he has grown another head. I stifled my laugh as his cheeks got red and he mumbled a sorry to no one in particular. "That means, now I can call you mine in front of the world."

I blushed and remembered how I was thinking the same a few days ago, and he just did that. "Yeah! And no Shanaya or anyone for that matter can steal my time with you, Mr. boyfriend." I said playfully but realized what I just said and clamped my hand on my mouth. "Sorry, I don't wanna seem to be clingy.." My voice came out muffled and surprisingly I heard him chuckle.

He shifted his chair closer to mine so now we were next to each other, and circled his arm across my shoulder, pulling me closer. "Hey. You're not at all clingy!"

"You think so?" I asked taking my hand off my mouth.

"I know so." He pecked my forehead and smiled. But soon a smirk replaced his smile, "But i do sense some jealousy, Ms. Girlfriend."

I groaned and fake glared at him, while actually my insides were tingling by the way he said girlfriend.

I hit his shoulder playfully but then started laughing along with him. It feels like everything has fallen on it's place. I thought as he fed me a spoonful of his fudge. One look at him and I knew everything is finally great.

Nandini : Hey guys! As I always say, ignore them. Aur April fools ka plan bhi in dono ka hi tha! *raises her hands in surrender*

Anya : Haww! Nandu, you're so clever haan! Guys we were all in this plan. *smiles sheepishly*

Cabir : Oh hii people. I wasn't there in this update so.. but it's okay! I was busy anyway. *mumbles the last line to himself*

Anya : You all, shoo. Go in. You're confusing them with your different statements.
Hmm, so do not think that since the promo was a prank doesn't mean, there won't be any twists. Just a warning or hint, whatever you wanna call it, not everything is sunshines and rainbows!
