Maya Pov.

As usually I got up early morning, offering my pray to tulsi. I walked in to find out Nandini not still awake.

She is usually an early bird.

Making myself a tea I remembered my talk with Vishnu.

Why was he so worried about Nandini. What is father and daughter hidding from me. Iyer akka would be staying in hospital for couple of days making Vishnu stay back.

Keeping my thoughts aside I remembered walking yesterday to the guest room to find it empty.

That boy had left so early. I ask Nandini too but she avoided the topic and most of the time stay quite all day.

Keeping my thoughts aside I walk to Nandini room.

She was behaving so strange with that man. Cutting and taunting him in each and everything he said. My daughter would never behave like that but she changed completely that day.

Walking towards her room as I got near, I heard Naman crying voice while him banging the door.

Maya: Naman...beta what happened ?
I rushed towards him while collecting a always strong fearless boy, scared and in panick in my arms.

Naman: Mumma she was not breathing properly (he said sniffing) and then her nose started bleeding and mouth too when she rushed into the bathroom.
He cried more banging the door leaving me scared and in complete shock.

What happened to My Nandu.

Maya: Nandu...Nandini open the door. Nandini are you fine...I am getting scared answer me for once....Nandini....open the door.
And there was still no response only the flowing water sound.

Naman: Mumma....Mumma
He too kept on banging.

Maya: You are scaring Naman too....Nandini open the door.
And then she finally opened the door facing her back towards me and her head bent down in the wash basin.

Nan: I am fine Amma...just some allergy.
She said sighing loudly and again started coughing while I patted her back finally she turned towards me smiling but looking at her face I was shock.

My Nandu looked devastated her eyes were red and there was still some blood coming out from her nose. Her hand and near her neck there were some bruises which I had never notice before.

Her state made me cry while she smiled coughing more.

Maya : Nandini what have you done dear....I am calling the doctor wait.
I said rushing out while she holded my hand nodding in a No.

Nan: I am fine
She said with great difficulty breathing barely while I holded her in my arms as she was so weak about to fall and next thing she kept her head on my shoulder as I took her out, while going near the bed as she walked she lost her balance and then fainted.

Lying unconscious on the floor making me rush outside to call my neighbour for help.

What's wrong with my Nandu.

Wiping my tears I walk near the door and as I opened it I found my son in law standing there smiling.

And all I could think is too thank Ayyiappa for sending him here at the right time.

Manik Pov.

I was about to ring the bell but before that Maya aunty open the door.

She was in a rush with tears flowing from her eyes.

Looking at me, she pulled me in and next what she said made my body drain out of blood. She was not making any sense.

Maya: Manik....Nandini...she fainted
She could barely speak anything properly but looking at her state I understood My Girl was not at all Good.

Rushing inside her room I saw Naman sitting next to her patting her cheeks while crying.

Naman: Mumma wake up....Mumma
He repeated until he saw me and rushed towards me.

Taking him in my embrace I couldn't look away from Nandini.

She looked so weak and fragile while her nosebleed.

Man: Mumma will be fine.
I assured my son handing him to his grandma.

Scooping Nandini in my arms carefully I rushed out of the house.

This was not what I had expected.

The bad feeling all I was getting was true....what has happen to her.

Nandini Pov.

My head was spinning while my throat was burning.

I could feel someone holding my hand tightly while someone was caressing my hair.

Naman soft whisper I could hear as he kept on murmuring in my ears.

Until I opened my eyes, the sudden light made me close them back and later some blur image came into my view.

Naman: Mumma you awake.
He said happily hugging me.

I couldn't look around as he had squeeze me in his embrace.

And then I realize he was the one caressing my hair.

Nan: I am fine baby.
I said kissing his head and then looked around to find it to be hospital.

This made me scared, I hope they didn't check or took out any reports.

I looked behind Naman to find Amma worried face.

If Amma was standing behind Naman then who was holding my hand and now caressing my knuckles.

I tried to separate from Naman hold to look at my side.

And next what I saw made me freeze.

When did he come here.

And how ???

Staring at his face I murmured

Nan: Manik....

While his eyes were red and face was white.
