Manik Pov.

Mom walked straight up to me and next I know was her hand hit my cheek's leaving me blaffled.

Neyonika: I am ashamed to have a son like you.
She said with tears rolling from her eyes.

This was the last thing I wanted to see in my life, my mom being ashamed of me and crying because of me.

I always wanted to make my parents proud and happy to have me as their son and today I lost the main reason of my hardwork and living.

I stared at her face with my hand holding my cheek's in shock.

Her slap didn't give me external pain, but it broke something inside me forever. She had all right's to slap me, hit me but not for this reason. I was not at fault but....

Neyonika: How could you Manik....I can't belief my son can do such a low thing. How can you cheat on Nandini like this...
She asked me while yelling on top of her voice.

Man: What have I done God danmit. Why the hell are you believing these stupid false stories.
I asked her angrily.

Neyonika: What have you done huh, if you have not done anything than I would not be over here crying and yelling at you.
She shouted.

Man: Mom listen whatever you are saying and thinking is not true. I am not doing anything wrong. For God sake...
I tried to keep my point while she cut me off in middle.

Neyonika: Manik really you want me to belief your lies....you think I am a fool. You seriously feel that I am dumb and blind.
She said pointing at herself and frowned while I looked at her being bewildered.

Man: Mom you....you are getting everything wrong.
I said calmly moving towards her and took her hands in mine.

Neyonika: WRONG !!!
She yelled again jerking my hand away.

Neyonika: I will tell you then what's right according to you.
She said taking out few pictures from her bag holding them out, she threw them right infront of me, on my face while I was stood shocked
The pictures shattered there on the floor.

Neyonika: So look at them are they right.
She asked while grinting her teeths while I looked at the thing which she threw on me.

I picked them up and looked at them which made me wonder who the hell had click them.

Neyonika: You and that girl roaming around hand in hand, she side hugging you, holding your arms and these selfies.
She said angrily.

While I stare at the pictures the selfies were true I did click pictures with her but other's were shocking.

Who the hell was spying on me.

I kept the pictures on my table and took a deep breathe and covered my face with my palms to calm my nerves.

Man: Mom what it look's like it's not true. I and Amaya are just friends simple.
I said emphasizing on each words.

Cabir: Shut up. Cut the crap man.
He said annoyingly.

While Mom stared at my face angrily.

Cabir: You seriously think your Mom will belief you after looking at this pictures. Do you think she is a fool like Nandini.
He again brought Nandini in between.

I was focusing on this mess while he was diverting my mind on Nandini for each thing.

I was damn sure in my anger at end I was going to blame her for all this shit.

Man: Stop getting her in middle. She is nowhere here in this drama which you created.
I said glaring at him while pointing my index finger on him.

Cabir: Really.... she remained blind to understand what kind of double face person you are, if she would have shown some courage to stand for herself and gone against a jerk like you this would have not happened.
He said shouting loudly with disappointment.

Man: Huh...gone against me.
I said laughing loudly and shaking my head.

Man: Nandini will never go against me. NEVER
I said confidently and repeated the word never again.

While he frowned with disgust.

Neyonika: Will you explain me what's going on over here. Between you and this girl.
She said pointing at the picture on my desk.

Man: I said she is just a friend. I am not into these cheating stuff Mom.
I said being irritated.

Man: Moreover if it would be something like what you and this jerk think's I would openly tell you and kick out Nandini from my life long back.
I said being frustrated no ways I was kicking Nandini out of my life sooner or later but my ego made me say this stuff.

Neyonika: So what all Cabir is saying and what I heard around is a lie.
She asked seriously.

Man: I don't know who is doing this all. I mean these pictures. Gross I think it's someone from my rival, who wants to spoil my image and reputation is spreading these false news.
I said picking up the pictures and throwing them down again.

Neyonika: I don't think so because I got these from someone who has nothing to do with your professional life honey. It was from some random lady back in the mall.
She said nervously while I looked at her being shocked.

Just then Amaya entered my cabin with tears in her eyes and came running towards me without looking around she hugged me while I was too surprised to understand what was going on.

Man: Amaya.
I said separating her from me while holding her shoulders.

Cabir: You see that Neyonika Aunty and you still belief it's nothing between these two.
He said pointing at me while I looked at him angrily.

Cabir is out of his mind today if he does not keep quite I am damn sure I will beat the shit out of him.

Man: Will you shut up for God sake orelse arrange an ambulance for yourself because if you say another word I swear you will not go back home on your two feets.
I threaten him while he glared at me being unaffected by my words.

Man: What's wrong ?
I asked Amaya while she wiped her tears.

Man: Why the hell you entered my cabin all running like some hindi heroine. I thought you were sensible enough to not do such clumsy things. Infact you didn't even knock and looked around.

I said being least interested to sit and wipe her tears first and console her to stop crying.

While she looked at me being surprised as she thought I would babysit her first.

I don't care if she cry's or dance's as I had enough for today.

Amaya: Manik someone is spreading news of you and me dating each other.
She said sniffing her nose while I looked at her shock.

Man: What? Who the hell is doing this ?
I asked her infact shouted on her while she looked at me being scared. She was shivering by now.

Okay I should check my tone I can't be so loud.

Amaya: Yes....you know I was at dad's place I mean office and I saw pictures of you and me holding hands and those weird picture as if we are couple types on my blog and fb. I think someone has hacked my account and have done this all.
She said looking down on the floor.

Suddenly what happened but the floor became most interesting thing for her.

Man: So is your password changed
I asked her abit calmly.

While she nodded in a No

I frowned and pulled my hair in frustration.

Man: So delete the pictures and put up a message that your account was hacked and there is nothing there between you and me. Ohh God Simple as that!!!!
I said being frustrated.

Man: Where have you sold your common sense. I didn't accept you being so stupid Amaya.
I asked annoyingly.

This girl had suddenly turned into the dumbest person on earth for me right now.

She looked at me while frowning.

Amaya self talk: What the hell I accepted him to get angry on the person who has done this, shout on Cabir and his Mom for accusing him, take my side, console me, but this man is behaving totally opposite. Gosh this is not happening. I need to do something. I can't let my acting go waste.

Amaya: Manik I....I got so worried. I mean I was scared you know what.
She said while crying.

Man: Scared of the hacker well he didn't post prone or nude pictures on your wall.
He said scaractically.

Man: Moreover it will be done by some of your stupid friend only as who else will leak out your picture.

While Amaya stood shock

Man: Listen go and get the stuff deleted first than put up a message and change your stupid damn password.
He said showing her the door while She stood numb as her plan was not working.

Amaya: But I have not clicked such pics of you and me I mean someone else have clicked them and posted.
She said innocently while Manik clings his eye brow.

Neyonika was all the while listening to her carefully and trying to read her facial expression. After Manik saying that he has done nothing wrong so confidently she believed her son. As being a Mother she knew when her son lie and when he is saying the truth.

Neyonika: Why do I feel that you have pulled up this stunt, done all this, and acting all innocent now.
She asked her while eyeing on her carefully raising her eyebrow.

Amaya: What ? Have you lost it Mrs Malhotra.
She shouted being shocked.

Neyonika: Mind your tone. And No I have not lost it I exactly know what and how are people around. I have alot more experience and met people like you, so you know what I mean.
She said looking at her carefully as if she was staring straight into her soul.

Amaya: I am sorry but why will I do something like this....I mean why will I spoil my image too. I am not so stupid.
She said stammering abit while Manik too stared at her as he felt something fishy from the way her tone and body language was changing.

Neyonika: Why ? Okay let me answer your why's.
She said turning around her and than went and stood beside Manik looking at her sternly while Amaya had her head low and her heart was beating fast.

Amaya: Where have I got myself into. Listening to that stupid moron was my foolishness. And this lady bl**dy is staring at me as if she will catch me red handed now. I need to think and get out of here.
She said to herself.

Neyonika: Some random lady dump into me and then goes away after leaving the envelope for me on the floor so I pick up and get to see my son pictures with you.
She said while taking the support of the desk.

Amaya said nervously
Amaya: So how am I to be blame for this it might be....
She was cut in the middle by neyonika

Neyoinka: I didn't complete yet dear. Don't dare to interrupt me in middle.
She said glaring at her.

While Amaya stood numb on her place.

Neyonika: Cabir get's to know about you proposing my son yesterday by your best friend Alya and that too in such a way that Manik said almost yes but due to me and his Dad coming out here he asked you for time just for name sake.
She said playing with the paper weight.

Neyonika: You know playing with words and manipulating things to your convince's.
She said smirking.

Neyonika: And then you all of a sudden walked in and hug my son as if trying to prove that you guys really have something going on.
She concluded while Cabir too looked at Amaya thoughtfully as he understood all balls were falling in her court.

Neyonika: Now why you needed to plan this all becsuse you could not accept my son's rejection and wanted to create misunderstanding between us. As your ego got hurt. Right honey.
She said smirking at her.

While Amaya stood numb trying to figure out things.

Man: Amaya is this all true ?
He asked being surprised.

As whatever his Mom said had a valid point. She had seen more, had experience and met such sort of people too.

Manik very well knew Amaya had ego problems, attitude issues  so this made more sense right now. She could not accept his rejection so doing these stuff had a point to gain sympathy as he was not a fool or either was she. She knew he was not going to accept her proposal ever.

Neyonika: You thought I would blame my son and accuse him break our bond and Cabir would too do the same. And Manik would get mad and end up taking your shoulder.
She said with disgust.

Cabir: Shit I should have understood this...I mean I messed up all this and made things easy for her.
He said crusing himself.

Man: Did you do this all Amaya ?
He asked again this time alittle louder as he was getting frustrated.

Neyonika: Manik why the hell are you asking her Ofcourse she did it. I have seen many like her. She is a egoistic, selfish, arrogant spoil brat. I have know her for along time.
She said angrily.

Man:  Amaya if you stand like a statue out here I will take it as a YES and then you know what I will land up doing. I won't leave you. I will make your life living hell remember. Playing games and messing up with me like this is not good. 
He said threaten her angrily.

As somewhere down he knew she has done it all.

Amaya: Enough.
She shouted crying loudly covering her mouth.

Amaya: Do you think I am a bl**dy game player and a b*tch who will sit and plot such stuff for traping you.
She said yelling at him.

Amaya : I love you and I really do and confess this all right infront of your mother.
She said pointing her fingers towards Neyonika.

Amaya: But I can't stoop so low, and play such cheap tricks Manik.
She said angrily.

Amaya: I have my class and self respect, I can't let myself get insulted and humiliated like this infront of your sick head friend who keep on accusing me. And your mother who think's I am a b*tch who is trapping his son.
She said kneeling down in her feet crying loudly.

While Manik stood numb and was shock.

Neyonika was getting angry.

And Cabir was rolling his eyes.

Amaya: I didn't expect this from you Manik. I though you respected me trusted me but you proved me wrong. Just because some random lady came and gave your mom few pics  and Alya called and told Cabir about yesterday that means I am the culprit.
She said looking at Manik angrily.

Man: Amaya why did you tell about yesterday to Alya and why did she call Cabir at first place. Don't you find this fishy.
He said calmly putting his point.

Amaya: How will I know why did she call Cabir and what she told ? What going in her head. And how am I responsible for her actions.
She said getting up on her feet.

Amaya: And I told her because I was distrub by my encounter with you about yesterday. I loved you and you didn't show any emotions towards me which made me really upset.
She said crying and rubbed her nose.

Man: Amaya I told you that I can't leave Nandini. I can't get along with you. I just see you as my friend that's it.
He said helplessly raising his hand.

Neyonika: I feel disgust after knowing that the person is married having a son yet you are behind him. You should die of shame for trying to break someone house you silly girl.
She shouted on her angrily.

Amaya: Right I should die.
She said laughing sarcastically.

Amaya: Then you should too be ashamed for manipulating and getting your son married to a classless,  down market girl who is behind your son money and nothing else....she is a live example
She could not complete her sentences as Manik shouted loudly.

Man: Shut up. I told you not to used such filthy words for my wife, you have got no rights. Didn't I warned you.
He asked glaring at her.

While she frowned and crossed her hands around her chest.

Amaya: I just told the truth. And truth is always bitter. Your Mom always wanted control over you and that's why she manipulated you. Got you married to Nandini because she is a small town girl.
She said looking in the opposite direction.

Man: Amaya, Why Nandini is with me, how is she or anything else I don't need to know from you. She is my wife and my problem but yup henceforth I won't tolerate any accusations from your mouth for her. And my Mom you have No rights to question her decision. I have always respected her decision and you are no one to point your finger at her.
He said angrily while glaring at her.

Cabir: Why the hell are you tolerating this egoistic arrogant fancy dress out here.
He said eyeing Amaya.

While Manik looked at him and frowned.

Man: Who are you to ask me Mr, I probably don't recognise you.
He said staring at Cabir face while he looked at Manik being shocked.

Cabir: Manik I know you are mad at me but I had my own reasons.
He said trying to explain his point while Manik looked the other side.

Man: After whatever you did today  it's better to have enemy than having friend's like you who are  back stabber, you accused me,brought my Mom here, manipulated her instead of supporting me you went against me, planned to get Nandini out of my life by manipulating her throught your wife, getting my in laws name in this drama and asking them to search for a boy for my wife, making fun of Nandini by calling her a fool for trusting me, you didn't belived me when I kept on yelling I have done nothing wrong, you didn't trusted me  so you don't have any rights to be part of my life. Just leave. I had enough of you and your false promises. I would never do such a thing and hurt you so deeply.
He said while swallowing a lump in his trough.

He didn't want to lose Cabir but the way he accused him, blamed him for things that he had never done, and tried to prove his point right of Manik cheating on Nandini, brought his Mom out here and used her against him telling her false stories and supporting the lie and doubt what he had on him. He had his mind always struck on Manik cheating and playing with Nandini feelings. That he is into Amaya and using Nandini was all he thought about and after today incident he made Manik realized what all he think's about him.

Cabir: Manik I just believed what I saw. Trust me you made this all so complicated. The time what Nandini deserved you started spending with her. Anyone could think of you and this skinny being together. Cheating does not only mean have a physical relationship it also mean not giving your time and presence to someone who deserve rather to someone who means nothing. I could not see you getting farther from Nandini. I just wanted you to be happy and safe and Amaya always being around you kept me in doubt what if she manipulates you and trap you into something you regret all your life. I believe you and trust you Manik. You are my brother. I want to see you and Nandini happy. And trust me your happiness lie only with Nandini.

He said moving towards him while Amaya smirked and said something which made all three of them shock.

Amaya: What if his happiness does not lie in Nandini. And lie in someone else. Why do you want him to be with Nandini only if he find his happiness somewhere else and want to move on with that won't you guys be happy for him.
She asked and continued.

Amaya: You may never know but in future may be very soon he realise that his happiness is with me.
She said biting her cheeks.

Which made Neyonika turn her hands into a fist.

And Manik shock.

Which Amaya was one.
