SAVIN' A  MEMORY

Jonathan jumped over the metal rail that separated him from the over grown forest and made his way down the hill. The sound of birds chirping echoed loudly echoed around him but he didn't stop nor did he care to much to even pay attention. He needed to be on the lookout for anything that could cause problems or be a threat to him so the birds were the last thing on his list to worry about.

He came across a camp and immediately swallowed, his hands reaching behind his back to pull out the handgun he had hidden. With caution, he entered the camp. His blue eyes scanned the blooded area until he came to the door where he then leaned against it to listen.

Silence greeted him.

Feeling ballsy, he took a deep breath, and opened the wooden door with his gun raised. What he saw however made his free hand jerk to his nose as a strong stench entered the area. Death. The room was a blood bath with bodies lying everywhere around the room as if put on display.

The walls were covered in dry splattered blood that seemed to be from the crime some man had the courage to commit. He removed his hand and made a face at how strong the smell was. Something caught his eye under all the blood and it just so happened to be a necklace of some sort, the diamond glistened in what light peered through the window.

He kneeled down beside the maggot filled body and pulled up the necklace to see it was a purple diamond. One that had belonged to Meg. Yet she was dead...

Jonathan pulled himself to his feet and put let the necklace slip from his fingers. "Bryce..." His voice came out in a small choked whisper as pain hit him. In that small moment he prayed the boy wasn't alone.

The floor creaked with each step he took and the sound of grass crunching under his feet echoed, he began to make his way upstairs. Upstairs there was more blood and he looked inside the room to begin to see a figure, it was a male with his back turned to the door so only the back of his head was shown to him. Jonathan watched as the other man begged for mercy, his begs being  ignored by the other.

The sound of a gun being shot echoed and blood splattered against the tan colored wall. The man turned around and Jon was met with cold dark blue eyes, ones that belonged to a monster. He watched as the gun was raised right at him and another fire was made.

Jon, feeling as if it was real, jerked in fear only to have the figure turn to dust. He turned around and seen where the stair rail had been broken and a body laid on the floor below it.

He clenched his first as he made his way back downstairs and out the door. How could someone be so cold and murder everyone like that? The feeling upset him but he knew it was too late to help them. They were gone.

Jonathan looked up at the sky and watched as the sun slowly began to set over the hills.

Jonathan jerked once the sound of a gun shot echoed through the sky. It was like a crackle of lightening in the night, whispers began to fill the area around him. Suddenly it was night and trough the shadows came a blonde hoping to find freedom.

That's when he realized he had blacked out.

He was no longer at the house looking at the sun or dead bodies, no. Instead he was was holding a bleeding man in his arms while the sound of yelling came from the distance. It hit him like a baseball bat to the plate. In his arms was someone he knew very well..and trough all the anger he had built up for him came hope. The blonde was bleeding out and he could leave him to die but something in him refused.

Leave him Jon! He's a traitor!

Jonathan looked down at the blonde and furrowed his brow as the memories flashed back to him. Just as he went to let him lie in a puddle of his own blood he felt the grip on his shirt tighten. Then the words caught him in the feeling of pain.

"Jon..please...don't..don't leave me.."
