It's been over a month since what happened and since what happened nobody has really talked or seen Mammon besides a few texts messages. Only ones who have seen Mammon we're Simeon and Luke Because they would go over a lot anyways and Luke and Kammon were best friends.

But since Christmas was rolling around and Diavolo made everyone celebrate it every year. Everyone was invited to the castle on Christmas.

And tonight as everyone got there Kammon ran over to Luke and asked.

Kammon : do you got the cookies for Santa!?"

Luke : yeah! Let's go set it up for him!"

MC : where's Mammon Kam?"

Kammon : in his room"

Kammon then ran off with Luke who was holding a tray a Christmas cookies while Kammon had milk.

Simeon : so cute. Their so excited"

Beel : you think Mammon will be happy to see us?"

Satan : who knows. What were you arguing about with Mammon that night Lucifer?"

Lucifer : it was nothing.... let's not ruin tonight by bringing that up"

Satan : interesting. I wonder what happened..."

Lucifer : just st-

Mammon : hey!"

Mammon said coming downstairs seeming better and dress up nice.

Asmo : you look great! I'm jealous!"

Mammon : just taking advantage of my situation. I mean what else can I do?"

Asmo : true. Hey we should go shopping tomorrow!"

Mammon : yeah we can"

MC : are you doing ok?"

Mammon : yeah I'm fine? What about you guys"

Satan : you still mad at Lucifer?"

Lucifer :. Satan I said behave!"

Satan : funny you thought I would listen"

Mammon : yeah...sorry I kinda snap it's all fine now promise"

Lucifer : ......."

Mammon : just do whatever you guys want I have to go do something real quick"

Mammon then walked away and everyone knew he seemed off.

Belphie : ..... something is up"

Beel : we should talk with him"

Belphie : probably say more to us than Lucifer"

Lucifer : ....."

Later during the party after an hour of getting Beel away from the food Belphie and Beel left to find Mammon and talk to him.

And as they were passing the balcony saw him talking with Diavolo and decided to hide behind some curtains and watch them.

Diavolo : Mammon i-

Mammon flinched and stepped back from Diavolo as Diavolo stepped forward towards him then said looking guilty and sad.

Diavolo : ......are you alright?"

Mammon : ....yeah.... what did you want to talk about anyway?"

Diavolo : ......all these things you are getting and asking for... do you really want them? or are you just doing this Because something is bothering you?"

Mammon : did you really expect me not to take advantage of this? And you did say I would be able to get whatever I wanted during this? "

Diavolo : yes I know I said that. But you shouldn't be doing this to try and ignore the pain your in"

Mammon : .... guess you would know that wouldn't you?

Diavolo : I am sorry...i-

Mammon : your not. You shouldn't have anything to be sorry for."

Mammon then looked away and said looking at the sky.

Mammon : only good thing I'll consider from this is the kid. At least she's happy and healthy and with people who actually care and love her unlike those witches...."

Diavolo : you are a very good father and I think even if this didn't happen you would still spoil her"

Mammon : well definitely? She's the best kid Because she has me as her dad?"

Diavolo : she's lucky to have you"

Mammon : yeah... more like I'm lucky to have her....she reminds me of who I am...."

Mammon looked like he wanted to say more but was stopping himself and Diavolo saw that. He felt bad he wanted Mammon to be able to say how he feels instead of bottling it up and didn't want to force him.

Diavolo : .... anyhow....I have something I wanted to discuss with you"

Mammon : and that is?"

Diavolo : there is a business trip you and I must attend...but you Don't want to go I could cancel i-

Mammon : no it's fine. Just Don't expect me to be any help"

Diavolo : your opinion matters?"

Mammon : I barely know what you guys are talking about?"

Diavolo : if you have something to say that could benefit Devildom or anything else we can discuss it and do it. It's an important meeting about Devildom we're discussing a lot of things"

Mammon : I'm not even taking care of that casino I made....I think it's going fine. I haven't check on Little  D. No. 2 in a few weeks?"

Diavolo : the illegal casino rings have gone down so I think he's doing fine"

Mammon : yeah.... anyway we should get back to everyone"

Diavolo : you are right. "

Mammon and Diavolo then walked away and Beel and Belphie started thinking.

Later they went over to Lucifer who was sitting in the corner at a table by himself and sat down with him telling him what they saw. And Lucifer told them what he knew.

Beel : we can't let him do this to himself just for us...."

Belphie : see now you understand why I never liked Diavolo"

Beel : this doesn't seem right if Mammon isn't happy...."

Lucifer : he wants me to stay out of the way he wants to handle it himself he wants to hit rock bottom I have to let him. He has to learn on his own"

Belphie : that's harsh even for you?"

Beel : but w-

Lucifer : he doesn't want our help. Even though he needs it....there's nothing we can do anyway besides be here for him "

Beel : I hate this....I Don't even feel hungry anymore this whole thing makes my stomach hurt...."

Belphie :.....how are we suppose to just sit here and watch him suffer?"

Lucifer : I Don't know.....he may be suffering but I Don't think he regrets this Because of Kammon he really loves that child and I think that's something that's keeping him from fully losing himself....I also think that's another reason he's not complaining or showing how he's feeling...."

Beel : he doesn't want to upset her....."

Belphie : you know how we told you about him getting whatever he wants from Diavolo Because he can?"

Lucifer : I think the more this goes on the more his sin of greed is taking over to fill in that void and reality of his situation..."

Beel : I think Kammon is keeping that from fully happening. He said Kammon reminds him of who he really is"

Lucifer : ....that child is a blessing in all of this...."
