Since what happened Diavolo avoided his children and Mammon. Barely spending time with them at all. And Mammon knew why but could never talk to him about it because Diavolo would avoid it and push him away.

And he was getting sick of it and honestly do kinda mad and was going to talk to him today. Weather he wanted to or not.

And today while Barbatos was outside with Aaron and Kammon. Diavolo was standing in his official trying to figure out some work until Mammon walked in and said shutting the door locking it.

Diavolo : Mammon I'm busy right n-

Mammon : No....we need to talk..."

Diavolo : I don't have time right now"

Mammon : you can't keep brushing it off.......and you especially can't keep pushing the kids away Kammon is already starting to think you hate her?"

Diavolo : I don't hate her? I could never?"

Mammon : I know that....I also know why yo are ignoring them...."

Diavolo then looked at Mammon and said looking troubled and upset now.

Diavolo : I did hurt her! I hurt you and I hurt her! She could of died because of me! Luke also! All because I was trying to prevent myself from hurting everyone!...... nobody what I do I just keep hurting everyone!"

Mammon : Diavolo you d-!?

Diavolo : I wish you did leave me! But you came back! And you won't go away no matter what even though you should! You shouldn't be here neither should the kids! I should leave!"

Mammon : .....what happened was an accident a horrible accident yeah it was bad. But you don't need to beat yourself up about it this badly...."

Diavolo : please stop.....stop defending me stop acting like I'm a good demon because I'm not! If I was you wouldn't have been through so much and I wouldn't have almost killed Kammon!......I thought I did....in those few minutes I thought I killed both of them. I had no idea what was going to happen to them in that place!"

Mammon : .......I know....in those minutes I thought the same and I honestly didn't feel great....I have no idea what I would of done if they did.....but I'll be honest even now I am still angry even hate you for what could of happened because you decided to do something stupid and irresponsible.... and maybe your right.....maybe I shouldn't be here.......clearly there is things we both need to work on....."

Diavolo : your right....I....I love you....I love you and the kids so much....but I think it's best for the time being for us to separate.....to reflect on things....if we really should be together....."

Mammon : ....yeah....yeah that's what I meant....I think that's best to....a lot is going on....we have to focus on other things..... good we talk....

Diavolo : .....i-

Mammon then left after this and later that day he left with the kids and went back home at the house of lamentation.

Later in the nighttime Kammon and Aaron were asleep in the attic that was made into a room for them. And during this Mammon was in his room laying on his bed looking lost and upset. He honestly didn't know what to do about this what was best he was lost.

He avoided everyone because he didn't want to hear what they would probably say about Diavolo or this situation a lot of his brothers didn't like or trust Diavolo anymore especially Lucifer. Mammon especially didn't want to hear what Lucifer had to say.

But despite his efforts Lucifer came to check on him. And as he walked over he sat down on the edge of the bed and said.

Lucifer : I just want to know how your doing"

Mammon : .....I don't know....."

Lucifer : you can talk to me Mammon?"

Mammon : so you can pretend to care?"

Lucifer : ..... knowing how you feel I know this can't be easy for you. But I think your doing the right thing a lot has happened a lot was rush a break seems like the best and most responsible thing to do. If you are considering.....no matter what I disagree with you on your still my brother and I'll still help you if you need me"

Mammon : .....thanks I guess....."

Lucifer : I see you still have that ring on?"

Mammon : I tried giving it back but he told me to keep it. And said if I choose to leave he doesn't regret giving me this....how did my life get so much so fast?"

Lucifer : I have no idea but take this time to focus on yourself. And the kids"

Mammon : I know...."

Lucifer : everything will be fine I promise"

Mammon : ...... thanks I guess"

The next day in the morning Luke and simeon came over and as Luke was in the kitchen setting up the snacks he made for everyone Lucifer walked in.

Lucifer : can I talk to you Luke?"

Luke : .....yeah?"

Lucifer : .....I know what you did Luke. The way you been acting since what happened I've seen before...."

Luke : y....you know!?"

Lucifer : yes. And I won't sugar coat it. What you did was extremely dangerous irresponsible and reckless and you shouldn't have done. Not only did you put yourself in danger you put her in danger also."

Luke looked down he felt guilty and ashamed for what he did.

Luke : I know.... what I d-!?

Lucifer : do you? Do you do you understand what happened the last time this was done? Lilith was killed because she altered a human's lifespan.

You better hope nobody finds out because I am afraid you could have a similar fate or something else "

Tears were forming in Luke's eyes as he was really realizing what he has done but he knew from the beginning the consequences of his actions. He then looked at Lucifer and said.

Luke : I....I know.....I know Lucifer....I knew exactly what could happen to me when I decided to give her the food.....but I had to.....I had to break the rules this once and betray her trust...."

Lucifer : I know she's your friend and means a lot to you. What do you think she would say if she knew?"

Luke : ....she would hate me.....she would hate that I put myself in danger to save her....she told me many times never put myself in danger for her.... because she would be upset if something happened to me.....but I had to.....I really had to do it....she was running out of time and nobody knew but me...."

Lucifer : what do you mean?"

Luke : for awhile I would notice when nobody else but us were around she would cough a lot....look like she was hurting..... and was always tired and weak....she would mostly sleep whenever we spent time together but pretended she was fine around everyone else.....she tried hiding it from me acting like she was fine too but I knew she was lying even when I asked her what was wrong she still lied....I.....I thought maybe she was just sick or something and it would go away....that nothing was seriously wrong......

But on our birthday the gift she gave me.....and the way she spoke.....I realized that she wasn't just always sick and would eventually get better....."

Lucifer : she was dying?...."

Luke : I don't know why she never said anything....or if she knew something was wrong and was scared to..... maybe she thought what I thought....but on that day I think she knew she was dying and that it was always too late to save her......but I knew I could after hearing what Lillth did.....I....

Luke then started crying getting really upset and Lucifer then kneeled down putting a hand on his shoulder.

Luke : I couldn't let her die! And I don't regret what I did! She'll be okay now and if I get in trouble that's ok!..... Devildom isn't so bad....."

Lucifer : the extents your willing to go for your friend..... your seriously telling me you of all angels would fall for her?"

Luke : ......yes I would...."

Lucifer then sighed and said with a small smile.

Lucifer : you remind me of her. She had a big heart and cared deeply about her friends and family. And once she put her mind to something even knowing the dangers of it. If it was to protect and help the one's she cared about there was no stopping her at all....."

Luke : are you going to tell?"

Lucifer : oh no. This stays between us understand?"

Luke : I understand..."
