Ezra danced with his friends and put on a fake smile, he wasn't having fun since Taylor had had a go. Anakin and Kenobi were sat at the bar whilst Kanan went to go talk to the teen boy "hey Ezra, can I have a word?" he asked earning a nod. They went to the balcony like before "sup Kanan?" the boy asked, the man sighed "do you really want to get married tomorrow?" he asked. Ezra was surprised by the question "parden?" Kanan spoke "that Taylor girl was quite...horrible to you earlier, accusing you of wanting to sleep with another girl, are you sure you want to marry her?" Ezra was silent for a moment "of...of cause I want to marry her, i love Taylor" the only thing is, he didn't know whether he was telling himself or Kanan. The man sighed "what does your dad think about all of this?" he asked making Ezra freeze "I em...I don't know...who my father is? He's never been in my life" that was a shock, Kanan nodded "oh...you don't have any clue on who your father is, at all?" he asked earning a shake of the head "not a clue, mum never liked talking about the subjest, only ever said he broke her heart". Kanan's eyes widened "em...Ezra I...I think there maybe a...a possibility of...me being your...dad" Ezra looked up to the man "I kind of figured". The man raised a brow "I found my mum's diary the other day, a diary of the year when she was pregnant with me...it said a lot about you, Anakin and Kenobi so..." Kanan finished the sentence "so that's why you sent the invites to us, so you could find out which one of us is your dad?" he said earning a nod "pretty much, th only thing is...I still don't know...I thought if I met you all I'd know who's my dad..." onec again Kanan finished the sentence "...but you don't know" the teen nodded, keeping his head down. "I...I don't know what to do! Mum will kill me if she finds out I know but I...I want to know my father so bad!" Ezra couldn't take it anyone, he just broke down, Kanna was shocked to see the brave strong boy he'd met this morning cry, he didn't know what to do. So slowly, Kanan pulled the boy into a hug "shh...it'll be okay, your mum will understand, every kid or teen needs their dad just as much as the need their mum". After 5 minutes Ezra calmed down "sorry about that" the Ann shook his head "crying doesn't make you weak Ezra, it actually makes you stronger" they both smiled. Ezra sighed "I don't know if I want to marry Taylor...before it was great but then she proposed and kept on getting really...mad and snapped, i thought i loved her but...I guess that spark died" Kanan felt so bad for the boy, he was 15 years old for god sake, he shouldn't be worrying about marrage or love, he should be in school and hanging out with is mates "if you don't want to marry Taylor, why are you?" Kanan asked,the boy shrugged "I guess I don't want to hurt her and...her dad agreed to help my mum with money for the hotel" the man was shocked...again "your marrying to help your mum?!" the kid nodded. All of a sudden they heard Ezra's name be called by some of his mates "I better get back, see ya tomorrow Kanan" the parted "see ya Ezra". Kanan walked back to the boat to find Kenobi and Anakin laughing with beer "how'd the talk with Ezra go then?" Anakin asked, the tired man sat down "I found out more than I thought i would" he explained everything. The two men were more the shocked "one of us maybe a dad?!" Anakin said followed by "and Ezra doesn't even want to get married?!" from Kenobi "yep, pretty much". "Poor kid" they couldn't think straight so decided to try and get some sleep.
