Brittany rolled over in her sleep, she felt something climb across her belly to rest against her neck. She twitched as a wet tongue licked her nuzzle and a happy bark followed.

"Mama! Mama wakey wakey!" Ace said, in a joyful voice to wake his mother up from her sleep.

Brittany groaned. "No.....Ace let me sleep....." she peeked her eyes open as Ace sat on her. "But mama, you said you'd play with me~"

Brittany sighed and shifted. "Oh fine......" Ace barked and jumped off, his little stump wagging. Her eyes saddened when she saw it, remembering  when he had lost his tail..... Ace frowned and stood on his hind legs "Mama?"

Brittany smiled softly at her son. He had her same brown fur,  stuck up on his head in a messy tuft and his underbelly was a light brown. His eyes blinked at her, big and amber, just like his father.

"It's nothing.......So, what do you wanna play?"

Ace grinned at his mother and pounced on his own mother, "This!" He giggled and tickled her with his nose. Brittany sniggered at him, she poked him with her tail and he gently patted a paw at it. She knew if he hadn't lost his tail, he would've of latched on like any pup. But he seems to be happy enough to try catch it with his paws.

She smiled and bowled him over gently, she tickled his belly with her tail and he laughed, back legs kicking at the air. "Mama Mama!" He laughed, giggling. "It tickles mama!" She smirked and stopped, she bent down to lick his head and smiled when he snuggled up to her. "Hey mama......"

"Hmmmm?"

"The others say I'm a mama's boy." He smiled. "But, I don't care, because I love you mama." Brittany felt herself grin and she patted his head with her paw.

"You know, I'll love you."

Ace smiled and his ears perked up, when he shut his eyes and dozed off, Sleeping peacefully. Brittany sighed happily.

She licked between his ears. "Always."
