We are all writing; some are building novels, some are 30days/30poems, some are 30days/30shorts, and some are editing their #NaNoWriMo , and a brave few are 30days/30queries!

How are the scribbles coming? Typing? Trying? Editing?

Depending on on your camp word count choice are you Ahead? Behind? On target? Wherever you are just keep going, there is no 'write or wrong' at Camp! (see what I did there? 😉) We all know it's all about THE WRITE! So just keep writing even if it is only a few paragraphs a day. 

Just by trying, you are already winning! Don't let the naysayers and discouragers bring you down, AND don't compare your word count others. Some can rip out 5K a day and others carefully craft 500 a day. Your Ideas deserves to live and bloom on YOUR terms. I have seen a few posting not so positive comments about others' story ideas or styles. To those Negative Nellys and tar-hearted trolls, I say this, "NOPE! Go away. Our stories, not yours. Throw your shade somewhere else!"

It is, what it is, and it is ours!  My darling Shaun, author of Dorothy and Sin, offered this advice on Twitter that is true for all writers. Write for yourself!

Every word is a step along the path to breathing life into your world, a shovel of sand into a sandbox that will someday hold your castle.
