Yes! I put up that really annoying song from my teenage years... You may hate on me now because you know it is going to be stuck in you head for the next week! Coiled between your auditory receptors and brain like the earworm it is. Cringe!

Okay I apologize... But honestly how many of you heard that NaNoWriMo is just too hard, BUT it can be done by amateurs...

Not all of us got the word count, but it is the effort that is the most important part. It is the journey that is the jumping off point to breathing life into the world that lives in our dreams and peeks out at the universe through our words. It is our footsteps in the sand to the to the mountains beyond. The winds of the demanding world may try to erase them but we will always know there were there.

We have come a long way in a short time. Some have written whole stories, some have written parts of many stories, some have simply laid the foundations for future stories... paste it all together and get it verified before Midnight in your time zone.

I have repeatedly heard the quote about filling the sandbox with sand before building sand castles this November. We've filled our box, now let's dream...
