Maia's POV:

"Ugh, disgusting," someone interrupted.

Joshua groaned and pulled away. Deep down I was glad we got interrupted but that feeling was so small that I almost went unnoticeable. I turned around to see Chastity standing over there, with a look of disgust on her face. I mean I don't blame her because she is to refrain from all...sexual acts, but doesn't she want a family?

Every girl always despises the idea of marriage, sex and giving birth but if you find the right person, who loves and cherishes you then why should you give away something so pure and secret about you? Why should you give life to a child and hold your creation in your own two hands? But for some people, the pain they have to do through is greater than the happiness they can achieve, so they don't experience the miracle of life.

"Chas! Don't say that," Lust called out.

When Chastity looked over at her counterpart, the disgust and distaste vanished from her face and in its place was a smile of happiness. Why was she so happy when Lust came it? Isn't he the complete opposite of her?

"Sorry to interrupt your moment," he said with sorrow.

"It's fine," Joshua grumbled.

"Are we still going on a tour?" I asked.

"Yes we are," he grabbed my hand and we began walking away.

"Be nice Chas," he called out.

Lust and I began our tour with the garden of the Castle. Apperently the castle is called Coelestium. We roamed the bust streets and took in the gorgeous scenery.

"This is where everyone who died and entered heaven live," Lust explained.

"Wow, it's so pretty!" I commented. It was extremely beautiful. I couldn't form or think of what to say about this place. It was indescribable.

After roaming for what felt like hours, I asked, "Lust I'm confused."

"Why? What's wrong?"

"You know Joshua?"

"No I don't," he said sarcastically.

I fake laughed, "very funny."

"But seriously, what's wrong?"

"I'm confused. My heart is confused. I don't know if I love Joshua because I pity him or because I actually do."

"Pity him?"

"Joshua grew up as a religious child and he was forced to look away from girls. While all the boys talked boobs and butts, he stayed in the library, reading the bible. He was restrained from girls and he never had friends who were girls at all, expect me. When he kissed me on the beach, I kissed him back because I felt like he was needy for a female's love, besides his mum. Now he genuinely loves me, but I...don't."

"Maia, if you've decided that you loved him out of pity then tell him."

"It will shatter him, Lust. I can't just walk up to him and say 'oh I don't really like you, I just kissed you because I felt bad! So now I'm going to leave you, bye!' Of course I won't do that!"

"You have a point. Maybe I can use my powers to make him cheat on you and then you'll have a reason to break up with him."

"No! Lust! What the hell!"

Lust genuinely looked confused. We changed the topic and moved on. We walked back to the Coelestium and found the boys and the virtures sitting in the garden talking to each other. Joshua sat next to Kindness and we're laughing together.

"Oh you're back!" Wrath called out, "the Virtues are taking us to the River of Cupiditatem."

"What's the River of Cucumber?" I asked.

"Cupiditatem," Envy corrected, "it's the river that is at the end of Heaven which will allow us to go to Incompertus."

We had less than two days left to each Hell. The boys cloaks vanished and we're replaced with black demonic wings. For the Virtues, white angelic wings sprouted from their backs. Wrath told me to hold onto him as they flew.

Wrath took off smoothly as we flew over Heaven. I got to see the beauty of the place at a better glance. It took my breath away. The colours complimenting each other perfectly, all working together to create beauty. Wrath dove down towards the water,  making me squeak and hold onto him tighter. I could hear him laugh, despite of the roaring wind. He brought me closer to the water, allowing me to reach out and touch it. The coolness of the water caused me to shiver, but then the temperature adjusted and turned warm. I saw my reflection and Wrath's in the water. I smirked and grabbed a handful of water and threw it in his face. He abruptly stopped flying and spun me around to face him. I laughed at his shocked face that I didn't notice that Wrath started flying towards the water. It was too late. He submerged both of us into the cool water. Despite my shock, I could see his cute eye smile underwater. I felt a pair of arms snake around my waist and pull me out of the water. We both were soaking wet and he held me close to him. Wrath began to flying higher and in circles, allowing us to dry ourselves.

Once we reached the River of Cupiditatem, all the Sins and Virtures wings vanished, and the Sins' cloaked were returned. I thought the river would be something spectacular or magnificent, but it was just a normal river.

"We have to cross it. Can you all swim?"

"Why can't you fly us across?" Joshua groaned.

Wrath looked annoyed at him, but Patience put her hand on his shoulder, the spot on top of her heart glowing golden. The runes. He calmed down and explained, "the river has a spell attached to it that makes whatever flies over it, fall. Either way, you get wet."

We said our goodbyes to each other. Joshua's mood lowered after saying our goodbyes. We walked over to the river, bidding our last farewell. I looked into the river and saw blackness. I shuddered. I felt a hand snake into mine. It was Wrath. He squeezed my hand and whisper that it will be alright. His breath made my skin tingle.

We all walked into the river. The coldness torturing my body. We began to swim. Something grabbed onto my leg and pulled me underwater. My lungs constricting, fighting for air. I squirmed, trying to escape the hold of the mysterious force, but it didn't work.

My vision darkened and I passed out. The strangest thing happened. I began to dream.

Riiiiiiiiiiight....so I'm confused on what to name this chapter...

Also, what do you think Maia should do? Should she stay with Josh or leave him?

Coelestium means Heaven.

Incompertus means undiscovered or unknown.

Cupiditatem means desire.
