Sanskar after bribing the doctor got his discharge signed. Though it had been 4 weeks almost a month in hospital there was hardly any improvement in his health. Wound was nearly healing but his health kept detoriating internally. He just wanted to get out and find those freaking bastards who hurt his little angel. Also, even after hiring detectives he had not found a single clue about her identity or family.

In the mid of all the mess he also got the information his little bro was being targeted by the music faternity for taking his side on unethically cancelling the concerts. There was lot of rumours around spoiling Neil's image. He knew Neil would be upset but would never show. It was not a small thing because even his little brother's life was in danger as someone was trying to acquire his position in industry.

Sanskar wanted to finish up all his tasks before he bids adieu. His Neil was being targeted all around due to his negative publicity. The little one was staying with Avni and Neil but her nights would be spent mostly with sanskar in hospital lying on Neil's chest in the room next to sanskar. Both were possesive for him ekdum equalwala tashan.

Sanskar can just smile when he saw them both sleeping so peacefully. Neil was undoubtedly sanskars life no one can change the fact. Even if he ever had his own baby Neil would always be his elder kid. He would secretly tip toe and caress Neil's hair while the later would sleep holding his hands. Sanskar never understood why Neil would calm down with only his presence.

A night before discharge sanskar explained the little one that she has to stay with avni and neil he will surely be meeting her. As if understanding she nodded giving a peck on his cheek. As he was getting back to work he would be very busy so she needs to be taken care of. She smiled and agreed to the deal. She didn't leave the hospital at night even after 1 week of discharge though she was now comfortable with sanskars family still he topped her list. They could stay because they were in boutique rooms which were more like home away from the other wards.

It was morning when Avni entered sanskars room to arrange his things.
Avni looked as if confused with something. It was an elegant room whose large window opened to a lush garden and swimming pool. Just next room was Avni and Neil's. He was a celebrity so his walk in wardrobe was a big room Which connected from his bathroom. It held tons of expensive clothings while uper hangers occupied his expensive armani and tux. Below  drawer had accessories ties, formal watches, cufflinks, belts etc. Lasts section had 5 large  compartments holding formal shoes in varied colour complimenting the suits above.

Other section had t shirts, jumpers, jackets, shorts, night wears while jeans were neatly folded it looked like a showroom which had same size cloths. Below were his casual slippers, sandals, shoes. Everything in the room was fragrant. Next sections held a huge counter with varied fragrance from around the world all expensive and limited edition. Sanskar doesn't share his things with strangers or new people only his family especially Neil is allowed to use his wardrobe. Last section held his sports and gym outfit, shoes and equipments. There were amny limited edition shoes in his wardrobe personally signed by his favourite sportsmen.

Sanskar is a cleanliness freak and love fragrance.

Avni looked at sanskars wardrobe and frowned as some of his favorites seemed missing. She has been with them since they started their lives reeling to success she knows sanskar and Neil in and out. Even their family pic which he always kept in his cupboard was at miss. She thought he might have asked someone to get it hospital. It will be back with his luggage. Avni left the room switching on the diffuser and adjusting the room temperature.

Morning was slowly turning into afternoon Neil woke up from sleep still eyes closed he walked to the adjacent room. As he opened the door a soft smell hit his nostrils. He smiled and opened his eyes looking at a large photograph which hung above sanskars bed. It's his routine whenever sanskar is not around he opens his eyes in sanskars room watching the photo.

In the pic Neil sat wearing a black armani with black shoes while holding a trophy in his hand a smile adorned his lips while eyes sparkled with unknown tears. While sanskar stood behind him putting his hands around his neck in pitch black tux while diamond cufflinks sparkled in his cuff. Sanskars hair were slight messy while Neil had hairs geled. It was the night when sanskar received his first award which he gave him. The night they rose to success to become a brand in industry from no one to big music industry magnets.

Neil was in Sanskar's room staring at photos around he can see his complete childhood summed up in that room.  Though they hardly had penny to buy food or luxury his brother made sure to have his pic clicked on his birthday. His brother sacrificed his smallest happiness to keep Neil happy. A pic which spoke volumes for itself caught his attention. It was taken when Sanskar Garewal became the rockstar SG. Their were tonnes of photos of his first concert but this is when he came backstage and Neil jumped on him like a kid what a perfect moment.

Flashback:

Neil entered sanskars dressing room with a smart black leather jacket with shining golden chains in his hand.

Neil: Bhaimaa your... (Whistling looking at the handsome brother)

He wore a smart fitted dark navy blue  shirt with a fitting ripped jeans. His lean but toned body peeped out of his attire making girls around drool on him. His stylist was working on his face and  hair dresser was gelling up his hairs.

Sanskar looking at Neil in the mirror and raising an eyebrow.

Neil's eye's watered he wanted to say so many thins but he wiped his eyes just signed nice and left the room hanging the chains on half jacket. When sanskar was stepping on the stage RV rushed and hugged him he had run a marathon from hospital till venue to reach on time. Shree also hugged and wished him while Neil just gave a professional handshake and wished him luck.

Finally when he rocked the stage whole crowd was applauding, from YouTube sensation he had become a rockstar. Neil couldn't hold his happiness he rushed and jumped on him like a kid. How happy did sanskar looked? A photographer immediately clicked that moment it was all over newspaper and social media next day.

But then Neil came into reality and dropped down walking away while others flocked him for photos, autographs. His brothers dry eyes still haunt him.

In present:

Neil knew his anger was not justified things could have been sorted in different ways also. He wiped the tears that trickled down from his eyes and left the room. He came down and got busy with arrangements.

Avni was doing all the preparation for her jeths (brother in law's) homecoming. She always looked at sanskar as a elderly figure of the family. He never allowed Neil to raise voice on Avni. She is one happy soul to find such a loving family and her family is complete only with sanskar in it. Knowing how important part of Neil's life he is. She adores their bond, loves and respects sanskar  because he has taught her just like a mother. To cook, handle a household, he walked with her on every step where she could have slipped. She always stands by his decision no matter what. Avni never had a mother she was raised by a loving dauting father who was very busy always to give her enough time. Only mother figure she had in her life was her elder sister but she was eldest and hardly knew anything. They grew with nannies and maids far from love.

In all this one person sat their gloomy with a long face on a bench in the big garden. It was shree he looked in dilemma as if lost a fight within himself. While chef were busy preparing yummy dishes, other workers were busy decorating the big lawn.  Avni was also in kitchen cooking their household had only one rule that someone from family cooked while maids and servants helped. When sanskar would be around he made sure to be incharge or kitchen in his absence it was Avni.

Neil looked at his bestie and he knew something was very wrong.

Neil(happily): Kya hua fatty? (What happened fatty)

Shree: Actually i was thinking all this is not necessary you know.

Neil was looking at him in confusion so he clarified his point.

Shree: I mean why all this pre-planning let bhai come home then we can celebrate.

Neil: What are you saying fatty. Bhaimaa is coming home today, after being away for such a long time. He has fought a battle of death and coming back all healthy. My breath was taken away when doctor told me he won't survive see today he is coming back.

Today i want everything to be special. I wish to tell bhaimaa how much i have missed him. I hope yaara it's not late, i want to embrace him make him feel how important he is to me. I want to go on my knee join hands and ask forgiveness for all the stupidities i did for past 7 years. I need move on at the earliest.

I always loved him, he is my mother, father, elder brother means world to me. He was never less then God for me. I didn't know what my ignorance was doing on bhaimaa. We both knew but couldn't confront each other.

The way he saved little Eva makes me proud that I am son of my bhaimaa. I want to clear out all the difference between us. Today bhaimaa will sing on my tune just like years back. I would jam and he would sing. Let's get back the good old days. His eyes were heavy with tears because he knew he had hurted sanskar a lot and was not even sure that his bhaimaa was ready for such a sudden change or not.

The doctors word were still fresh in Neil's mind. He had taken second, third, fourth opinion after the tiff with previous doctor who said his bhaimaa has only 4 months and same statement he received from other panel of doctors. Today he was discharged and would be back home then Neil would take complete care of his brother he will be his shadow no no this time he would make his presence felt just as his bhaimaa did for him. He would turn the cycle of life and get his bhaimaa back.

Sanskar's life would be his priority he will make him believe that he is very much needed in his life.

Neil: Shree i was thinking why not we all go somewhere to a hill station probably....

Shree: Bhai would be having a stand in the court by tommorrow once he gets bail we would get permission giving his health as a reason for a change so we can do a travel.

Neil: I think we all only couples would go( he said teasing shree )

Shree: Probably then even bhai can't go owing he is also a bachelor.

Avni: Waise bhai ke liye shanaya di hain na?

Shree (pouting): Hey bhagwan dekho sab mere bachelor hone ke dushman bane baithe hain.

Neil: Then why don't you get married? kahin aisa toh nahin hain you like boys.

Avni who just arrived looked at shree they were looking horrified at Neil on such comments. Now, shree thought of playing.

Shree: Bhul gaya woh din jab hum dono saath mein blue films dekha karte the. Woh sheila ka nasha wali raatein. Bhul gaya jab tu raat ko jer... (Did you forget the days when we saw blue films together. Remember that sheila's intoxication film at night when you would jer......

Neil held his mouth to shut him and then said in his ear: Bhaimaa ne agar sun na toh hum dono ka gaav nikala ho jaayega. (If elder brother hears it we would be doomed)

Shree nodding in understanding.
Some maid called avni and she left the space looking at the two bickering.

They burst out laughing while Neil rolled on floor holding his stomach. Then holding they sat on the grass while Neil kept on suggesting some plans while shree sat their looking at his friends eyes which were hiding many emotions within.

Neil was lost in his dreamland when he stood up and started walking backward talking to shree about arrangements he didn't see few labourers getting a mirror glass. He dashed and with force the glass crashed on the grass crumbling in pieces as the men left hold and moved aside. Shree at once rushed towards Neil and pulled him holding his hand so that he doesn't fall or get hurt by glass pieces. He saw Neil's eyes which were red and filled with tears.

Shree: Neil, sambhal apne apko. Thoda tham ja yaar kahin tere khawab iss kanch ki tarah tut na jaaye. (Neil, take hold of yourself halt, i hope your dreams don't break just like this glass)... he said softly looking at the pieces of glass scattered around.

Neil was shocked he looked at Shree then at glass. He wiped his tears with back of his hand and flashed a million dollar smile.

Neil: No worries i trust my bhaimaa he would never allow me or my dreams to break.

Before shree could say something he saw Avni looking at the scattered glass with tension.

Avni: How this glass broke? This was for bhai's room i had personally got it exported from paris.

Neil (coming near Avni): It's okay we would get another one. He asked the labourers to go they would pay and won't tell anything to the owner.

Avni(in mind): This is bad omen...

Shanaya had just arrived, being a holiday she seemed relaxed in a spaghetti top and loose cargo trousers. Avni's face brightened looking at her sister she was looking as if searching for something behind her.

Shanaya (hugging): Chhoti, what happened no hi no hello, why you look tense?

Avni: Hi di

Neil: I thought you are with bhaimaa and would come home with him.

Shanaya: I was with sanskar and helped him pack but then he said he would come with RV and ishani...

Before she said anything they heard a huge scream.

Surppprrriiiisssseeeee

Neil and Avni had a huge smile seeing Ishani who stood with a bunch of balloon hiding a person behind it. Neil and Avni eagerly waited it to be sanskar. They can also see a tiny leg which meant he was carrying the baby.

Neil frowned thinking how his brother can carry her when his wounds are still healing. He has also fractured his leg and few ribs during the fight. His lumbar also having crack due to the fall on stone. He was pretty confused but stood with hope. Again something struck

Neil(in mind): These are not bhaimaa's shoes.....

Ishani pricked pin and the balloons burst making baby scared. She hid her face in crook of the persons neck. Everyone was surprised to see the person. There faces turned gloomy it was RV holding the baby.

Avni went ahead and took Eva in her arms showering kisses. Eva also hugged her with love.

Avni: Now, you will be with us whole day hain na...

The child nodded innocently.

Avni got her near Neil who touched her cheeks with a soft smile she returned the gesture touching his stubble making him smile a bit.

Neil: Cutiepie, Where is bhaimaa? He directed questions towards ishani.

RV and Ishani looked at each other as if finding words to put forward.

Ishani: Bhai said he has some recording today and some meetings line up with the previous concert cancelled company owners he will go to Ashray after that.

Neil: Bhai is still not well and he went for recording? Can he even hold himself standing for even 5 minutes? What about ashray how would he travel to ashray with that broken leg of his. Forget that how will he reach recording.

RV rolled his eyes.

RV: In car

Neil: Has he taken your car?

RV : No

Neil:(Looking at Ishani): Cutiepie yours

she nodded in no

Turning to shree then to Avni.

Shree: Not mine

Avni: Not mine either rather i traveled in my car.

Neil: All the cars are here in the house with the drivers. How can you all leave bhai alone without asking me.

He tried his bodyguards but none knew about sanskar. Neil was highly pissed off by now. Before he burst shree decided to break the silence.

Shree : Listen Neil.

Shanaya: (bugged in): Let's cut the crap. Sanskar has shifted to your old house near ashray. May be he is trying to give you space.

Neil: What???But why?? What's all about this space thing?

Shanaya: I don't know, when i finished his packing in hospital.

Flashback:

While packing his stuff.

Shanaya: Let's leave together i am going home.

Sanskar: Home...ummm no Shanaya i am not going their just shifting to the old house for few days.

Shanaya: You won't go and meet Avni and Neil?

Sanskar: No i would surely go it's just next few days would be very busy so I am thinking of being at ashray so i can relax. It's also near to studio so it would save time.

Shanaya: What about Eva (she said looking at the little one getting ready in the next room) She has stayed here at night and you are supposed to take her home she won't go otherwise without Avni or Neil so, shall I call them. Are you thinking of taking her with you?

Sanskar : (calmly): I am not taking her with me as i would go for final recording directly from here. Neil and Avni has her custody so she needs to stay their. It would be secured and comfortable for her. I trust Avni and Neil would take good care of her. She said she loved the room that Avni has made for her and now she sleeps with Neil in the night so i think that won't be a problem anymore.

Shanaya: Okay then i would take her alongwith me.

Sanskar: No, i have asked RV and ishani to take her she is not comfortable with everyone.

Shanaya: What about your clothes and other stuff?

Sanskar: I had asked shree to shift them already. From here i am going for a recording confirmed everything with Naira after that i would go to ashray and stay in our cottage their. Also, i have a party to be attended at night.

Back in present:

Neil turned around trying to assimilate all the information when his eyes landed on shree his words caught his attention. He silently walked towards him and shree knew he was angry their would be an outburst.

Neil: Shree, you knew about it?

Shree bowed his head and simply nodded in yes.

Bhai said he would think on changing the decision if he thinks...

Neil: Thinks what Shree?

Shree: That you are not hurting due to him. Also, ashray is perfect location for cutting down his travel time with all those injuries he need to be at that part of city so work goes on smoothly.

Neil: Freaking this is not true,(Neil said pulling his hairs back in anger) : Just tell me shree what held you back from informing me about this.

Shree took out some papers and gave it to Neil. Looking at which he was simply shattered.  They were documented of all the properties, shares, agreements duly signed on his name by sanskar. Though he was beneficiary of all his accounts sanskar still made clear that Neil has complete right to decide on his behalf.There was also a letter with it.

I don't know to put up words. I just want to give space to you and Avni
It's been six years to your marriage and i think it's pretty long that now you both get some privacy. I know my activities are stressing you a lot. I think this is in our best interest. Work fronts l don't stress i would clear up all the pending i have also reschedule all the missed concerts. I can't see you facing loss because of me.

Don't worry i will take care of myself. Also, your muscular creatures are allowed outside my house till I don't finish all the contracts with the company. 

Not taking car i would travel by cab as it is I can't drive with that broken arm and leg of mine also to avoid media attention. No need to bother Avni for anything let her breath. She is very stressed last few days with hospital visits taking care of me, you and eva.

I am sending Eva because her custody is on your name. Police or prosecutor from  court can come for a check. I can't give her the protection that you can. My eyes would be on you always  Please take care of yourself, Avni and Sunshine.

A request shree is not at mistake i had given  him my swear so he had to hide the truth from you. Don't get angry on him just try to understand. No one else knew about my this step. I have taken this decision with my wish in complete sanity. I am not very far just a few kilometres away whenever you want you can come down and meet me.

Neil you are my strongest brother i want you to stay like that. No, running away into room locking it or breaking things in frustration just stay calm. I don't know if i still have the right to say this while i have hurt you myself. Do not hurt yourself.

Shree went ahead and hugged Neil who had turned into a statue. His brother was clearly avoiding him and this hurt him. He didn't speak a word just breaking free from shree's grip he moved. As he reached the door he started feeling everything blurring. He saw all the decoration he sat on the door with thud.

He knew his brother would now never come back to his life. His breath started shallowing he held on the side of his stomach. Shree, Avni, RV, Ishani everyone rushed towards him.He rolled his eyes and as avni took him close he passed out. RV started checking his pulse he was worried.

RV's faint voice reached Neil's ears..

RV:  Neil....Neil...

He opened his eyes while everyone took a breath of relief. Neil sat their drained and lost everyone knew what sanskar meant for him and also that sanskar has his own reason.

RV: Nothing to worry just his BP dropped may be because he has not had anything since morning. (To avni) Just arrange some food for him

(Turning towards Neil) Please have it without any tantrum bhai won't be happy seeing you like this.

Avni: Neil, sunshine needs you just like you need bhai.

Avni knew this was the trump card sanskar told her to use. This is what he meant.

Neil remembered an old lady telling sanskar "He won't sleep without you can we continue this anger in the morning. Smiling sanskar said, i could never be angry on him it's just that I am little upset". Then he turned while little Neil said sorry holding his ears sanskar gave a million dollar smile and Neil slept getting into his brothers warm embrace.

Neil stood up with difficulty as shree tried to hold him he pushed his hand and walked inside the house with help of Ishani. He came and sat on dinning table. It was full of his brothers favourite food.

Neil knew his brother had done this on purpose he ate few morsels and left to change. Not a single  word spilled from his mouth. As he came in the room ishani entered with sunshine in her arms who at once got a curve on Neil's sad face. As they exchanged smile Ishani was about to go when she stopped as Neil called her.

Neil: Cutiepie, please ask everyone to have lunch and go.

Ishani nodded her head.

Ishani: Nabh(means sky that what she has made of neil bhai)

Neil: Tell me Cutiepie
He said making sunshine sit on the bed with few soft toys.

Ishani: last week when i went to meet bhai i eavedropped on his and Shanaya di's conversation.

Neil was listening attentively.

Shanaya: Sanskar, i think now Neil and Avni should start planning for their family.

Sanskar: They already have family Shanaya.

Shanaya: With family i mean their baby.

Sanskar: Did you speak to Avni about it? I think she was trying and they also had some tests done everything was normal.

Shanaya: Listen what I am telling you is a little private. Girls won't discuss with boys and for avni you can be like an elder brother but you are not her mother or real brother neither her family that she would discuss all this freely with you.

Sanskar: Say it clearly, i also wish they be blessed with a child.

Shanaya: You need to give them both their space.

Sanskar (shocked): What??

Shanaya: Yes, it's been six years, you should now get separated and let them live their life their way. Have some alone time enjoy wherever they want instead of being in pressure of you being around. Neil also stays disturbed with your presence that also can be a reason that's what her psychological counselor feels.

Sanskar: Hmmm I would think on it.

Anger shone in Neil's eyes. Avni entered the room she also heard ishani's conversation with Neil. She froze as Neil's accusing eyes turned in her direction.

Avni: (knowing what he would ask); Shanaya di, spoke about this to me but i didn't agree. I asked her to drop the topic. I didn't knew she would ask bhai about this and that too in such a way.

Neil didn't speak a word he went towards little sunshine who was continuously blinking her eyes and watching the scenario. He came on bed sat down took her in arms lied making her sleep on him.

Afternoon turned to evening while eva was playing with maids in garden Avni sat in her room looking at the little one's smile. Almost everyone had left without speaking about today's incident pondering over their own thoughts. While Avni reprimanded shanaya for speaking in her matter on her behalf without her concern.

To which she just replied " You are my responsibility and i have the right to speak out if you don't".

It was 6:00pm the house was dark and gloomy. Avni sat on couch watching Neil who was busy on his laptop completing some work or rather spying on his brother. He had irritated Naira knowing his brother was in their studio.

He didn't speak to Avni after the incident. He made Avni and Sunshine eat with his hand without even glancing at Avni. She tried to feed him but his eyes one glance and she knew how broken he was.

Neil got a call he silently listened to other person finally heaved a suffering breath he urgently got ready in his formals with a smart jacket over it.

Avni: Are you going somewhere?

Neil: Party at Khanna's i hope you are attending. Dadi would be waiting for you.

He walked towards sunshine caressed her face then called her specially appointed nanny to get her ready.

Neil(To avni): Just a request don't be shanya di's informer and tell her our differences. For once be only mine and our family keep her out. Even if you don't do that doesn't make a difference. 

Informing his security making few other calls picking up his and one more car key he left. Avni kept on looking at the door which closed with a bang. She went near window where breeze was flowing she slightly tapped her tibetan singing bowl with it's wooden stick creating vibration. It hymed with wind chime. She was very spiritual specially when her heart was on unrest her elder family member sanskar had taught her this technique. She closed her eyes 😭 letting her tears freely fall.

To herself: I would be their at the party just being yours (no tears came out just a painful smile knowing the hurt this has caused Neil and sanskar.)

Neil was on call driving his favourite audi. His dark blue jacket and black satin shirt made him look enigmatic. His high shoes gave his legs a dimension.  Just like his brother he was a style icon made style statement with his looks. His blue rado limited edition from his brother was a customised gift as it held his initials behind. He stood with his car infront of a big mansion decorated majestically signing of a big party being thrown. He saw his brother entering the venue in a car known to him. He smiled sarcastically while his body was burning in anger.

Neil (on call): Yes, Naira i have reached the venue, so has bhaimaa.

Naira: Please don't behave reckless it's about SG there is whole media turned up over their. S & G would be on stock list by tommorrow morning with this announcement and even other scandal will be buried under this huge news. So please don't spoil bhai's effort.

Neil: Don't worry I am here just for bhaimaa. I won't create any trouble for him.

Shree was continuously calling Neil which he royally ignored.

Shree (to himself): Please pick up damn it. I need to go to party
He made another call "RV are you ready meet me at the venue."

It was a celebrity affair with high profile expats in presence. Why not it was party of Karan Khanna biggest mafia don turned financer. His company is listed in top 10 companies. No one knew his grudge towards sanskar except Neil. They had a love hate relationship he could hurt sanskar but if anyone else did karan would create havoc in his life
He is elder to Neil but a year younger to sanskar.

Neil's car was behind two three cars after sanskar's he could see KK's signature black merc clearly. Which was followed by guards in next cars. Still possesive about my brother.

Neil was just going through his ipad while he dropped it to side. The crowd made him uneasy his heart was in chaos. Their was nervousness fearing for his brothers safety. There was a huge space left to welcome the guest while media hovered outside the strong boundary to get glimpse of the stars. There were fans in the arena from where the celebs walked on red carpet on floral path.

All the lights and flashlight couldn't match the glow of the rockstar. Neil was giving silent curses for making his elder brother so handsome. Even in this state his smile and eyes made his fans go gaga. His bruises were well hid with light make up.

As sanskar stepped out few boys tripped the barricade to reach him. He looked shimmering in his dark blue simple shirt paired with a rugged jeans his bandage on hand was hid under his sleeves and bandage on head hid below his hair. As he stepped out he had to hold on before standing because an electric current jolted across his body due to pain in his broken ribs and vertebrae. He had just been discharged and worked for a complete day tirelessly so their ought to be some compliances. He was a human not machine. Holding his breath he came out with a beautiful smile to his fans.

While Neil smiled like a fool seeing his brothers never die Rockstar attitude. Next moment that shimmering walking stick bought water in his eyes. While sanskar was about to move covered with guards. Neil keenly observed the guys who tripped were moving towards sanskar.

Neil at once abandoned his car and rushed towards his brother and as he turned toward media for a click all smiles. A boy dashed into him and he disbalanced an unbearable pain surged in his body tears sparkled in his eyes. He slightly groaned '" aaaahhh" but before he fell two pair of hands held him. One side was Neil while other side Karan khanna their eyes said how worried they both were.

Papparazi went crazy for clicking their pics. Top rockstar of Asia Sanskar Garewal with music magnet of the industry Neil Garewal was standing by the Asia's number one financer Karan Khanna. A perfect CBI investigation plot was set.

While Sanskar passed a warm smile towards Karan turning his eyes towards his little brother who was scared to death assuring he was all okay. Neil was passing death glares towards Karan.
