Small chapter but it's to transition from vacation to an important event

After a few days it was time to go back. Hermione agreed to just take a portkey back because she was tired.

Cassie had slept well and since they used the portkey she wasn't really jet lagged. She went up to her room and got ready to meet Zack. She wore her favourite blue flowy mesh shirt with a blue bra and black high waisted shorts with her black boots.

"Bye mum! Bye dad!" She flooed to Diagon Ally where Zack was waiting for her. "Hey!"

"Hey Cassie! How was New York?" Zack asked as they walked around.

"It was awesome. I sent you the pictures I took but being there was so wonderful. I got a new dress and heels for the ball."

Zack nodded, "I forgot about the ball. I heard that a new building was built at Hogwarts so the students that come visit can stay there. I would've loved to go to another place though."

Cassie nodded, "I heard that the students from the States school are coming! It going to be so great."

"Are you going to tell me why you're mad at James?" Zack raises an eyebrow at her.

Cassie huffed, "he kissed Molly. Molly of all people! I hate her!"

Zack nodded, "I see. You're jealous."

Cassie blushed, "if you tell him I'll kill you."

Zack smiled, "he may be my best friend but I don't tell him everything. You can trust me."

"Good."

"So tell me about the dress." Zack knee he had to change the conversation now or it'll be awkward.

"I have a picture of it." She pulled out her phone and looked for the picture.

Zack's eyes widened, "it's gorgeous."

Cassie smiled at her friend, "You have to promise me something."

"Sure."

"If we don't have a date we'll go together."

Zack nodded, "sound good but there's no way you won't have a date. You just have to wait for me to get a date."

"Deal."
