Cassie was supposed to go to her friend's house today whilst her parents spent the day together. She was obviously excited to see Romilda and shop away with her but sadly her friend was grounded. She sighed and followed her siblings to Potter manor. When she saw Zack she smiled at him and waved. Both had become friends even if he was James's right hand man. "Hey pretty lady."

"Hi Zack!" She sat next to him on the couch. "Where's James?"

Zack raised an eyebrow at his friend surprised she was looking for James. "Are you finally liking him back?"

"Oh Merlin no!" She blushed lightly and shook her head. "I was asking because I don't want to er- see him."

Zack nodded still not buying it. "Well you'll want to see him when he comes out. Sit back and watch."

Cassie shrugged and sat next to him. James came out stomping in wearing a yellow sundress too tight for him with a grumpy face on not noticing Cassie. "I hate loosing to you." He has his back turned to them. "This dress is too tight, I'm not Lily's size!"

"Come on I need to take a picture." Zack bit his lip to stop his laughter. Cassie on the other hand covered her mouth trying to not make a sound. "Twirl pretty princess."

When James twirled towards Zack he saw Cassie and immediately shrieked. Cassie finally let out her laughter boom throughout the house. "I'm going to paint this when I get get home!"

James turned to Zack and pointed at him angrily. "I'm going to kill you."

"Oh you love me."

James growled. "Run Zabini. You better run."

Zack rolled his eyes. "You lost and this is your punishment. Don't be an-"

Ginny walked in. "Kids let's go." She turned to James. "Sweet Merlin. James that is too tight for you, I can buy you a bigger size if you want. Go change."

James blushed with embarrassed glaring at his friend. "It wasn't my idea to put this on." He stomped to his room and slammed the door.

Ginny looked at Zack. "You two played chess again didn't you?" Zack nodded. "Alright. Go Harry is waiting on the other side. Remember to be clear on what you say."

Zack and Cassie stood up. "Ladies first."

"Shouldn't James go in then?" Cassie smirked. "DIAGON ALLEY"

Suddenly the flames engulfed her and she was standing in front of Harry. "Hello Harry."

"Glad you came with us Cassie." Harry helped her out. "Now I have some company to wait for everyone."

"Indeed." Cassie grinned.

"Have you painted anything new?"

Cassie nodded. "I repainted my bedroom to look like space. The stars glow in the dark. My mother almost flipped when she saw what I was doing. Then she calmed down when she noticed it looked good."

Harry chuckled. "Your mother is like that but she's a lovely person."

"She is, my father on the other hand was glad to help me out." Cassie grinned. "It looks absolutely fantastic and my mum wants me to paint her something like it."

"You should think about pursuing art as a career. Of course if you want."

Little by little everyone else appeared. "It was nice talking to you uncle Harry."
She turned to Zack and James. "I won't tell anyone about the little incident if you buy me chocolates."

James smirked. "Obviously you'd bribed me for your silence."

Zack flung his arms around their shoulders. "I want some too."

"Of course mate." James walked them over to the candy shop letting his friends choose some candy. Zack walked away from them to let James have some alone time with his crush. "So...."

"James must you always be awkward when talking to me. Honestly, I'm just another girl." Cassie smiled looking st the candy.

James shook his head lightly. "No you're not. You're Cassiopeia Malfoy. The smartest and creative."

Cassie looked away hiding her blush.

"What would get you to go on a date with me?" James asked.

Cassie shook her head. "No. Not yet at least. I want you to try an get to know me better and i want to get to know you better and then we will see."

James smiled, "so I have a chance?"

Cassiopeia nodded, "yes but don't be an asshole about it."

"Deal."

Zack came back to them carrying candy and with a boyish smile on his face. "I'm ready."

James shook his head, "no, I'm not buying all of that. You have to chose five things and that's it mate."

Zack pouted, "But you love me. Please!!!"

James shook his head, "Come on let's chose what you want more and I'll buy that."

Zack ate his candy with a happy smile on his face. James had bought him everything he wanted because of his puppy eyes. Who could say no to those?

Cassie on the other hand was very pleased with the one she chose. She wasn't big on candy but she sure enjoyed it when she had it. "I'm still going to draw you with the dress on."

James glared at her playfully, "I hate you both."

The friends continued walking and talking about anything they could think of. Soon Albus caught up to them with his boyfriend. "Hey! You guys fancy a butterbeer?"

The other nodded and went to buy one. They all sat down together and talked about school and other things.

Cassie couldn't deny that she liked this side of James. Goofy, chatty but still very clever.  She hoped in the bottom of her heart this worked out.
