Hermione was woken up with kisses on her bare shoulder. She sat up and immediately clutched her stomach. "Hermione you look pale, are you feeling well?" Draco asked with concern. Hermione shook her head and raced to the bathroom. Draco followed her and held up her hair whilst massaging her back. "This is the third day this happens. Let's go to the doctor please, I don't want you to get sick."

Hermione shook her head, "you have to go to work."

"I'm pretty sure I can take a day off to take care of you and my father would fill in for me." Draco kissed her shoulder. "I'm going to make you some tea and schedule an appointment."

Hermione smiled and got up brushing her teeth and followed Draco downstairs. He smiled at her and handed her a cup of ginger tea. "Thank you." Draco smiled at her and kissed her forehead.

"I'm going to prepare you a nice bubble bath." Draco went off to the bathroom. Hermione finished her tea and got into the bathtub. Draco sat down on the floor and took her hand. "The appointment is in an hour and a half. I really hope you're not badly sick. Do you need anything love?"

Hermione shook her head. "Just stay with me please." Draco nodded and stayed by her side rubbing her knuckles with his thumb. After a silent dip in the bathtub Hermione announced that she wanted to get out and Draco helped her enveloping her in a towel. He was deeply concerned with his wife's health, she never looked like this. He didn't mind that she took one of his shirts to wear it. "Are you ready to go?" Hermione asked trying to look cheerful.

Draco shook his head and wrapped her up in a hug. He pulled away and turned her around to put her hair up in a bun. "Are you sure you want to apparate? We can always-"

"I'm sure." Hermione confirmed wrapping her arms around his waist and they apparated. She held back the urge to vomit and Draco began guiding her to the doctor that was going to examine her.

"Do you want me to wait for you out here or go in with you?" Draco asked.

"I appreciate you wanting to come with me but please stay out here." Hermione answered. Draco nodded and kissed her forehead before she went in.

"Good morning Mrs.Malfoy, what seems to be the problem?" Dr.Sally asked.

"Well I've been throwing up these past few days."

The doctor nodded as she wrote down on her clipboard. "Have you eaten anything out of the ordinary?" Hermione shook her head. "Have you had this problem before?" Again, Hermione shook her head. "Have you had any sexual encounters with your husband recently?" Hermione blushed and nodded. "Don't be embarrassed Mrs.Malfoy, it's perfectly normal. My guess is, and this is just a guess, that you are pregnant. Of course I'll have to do some tests and all." The doctor did some procedures and exited the room. Hermione sat on the bed with her feet dangling in front of her. She bit her lip nervously. The doctor opened the door and smiled brightly at her. "Congratulations Mrs.Malfoy! You are expecting!" Hermione smiled and hugged the doctor. "Be sure to tell your husband as soon as possible."

Hermione nodded and exited to find Draco in the waiting room playing with a child with the toys that were available. Draco looked up and said goodbye to the child to go with his wife. "We should talk let's go to the park. You can tell me everything that the doctor told you."

"Sound like a plan."

Draco and Hermione arrived at the park and sat down on a bench. "I'm going to tell you it's nothing serious like you thought but I want to hear what you had to say first." Hermione leaned on his chest.

"I was playing with the child and it got me thinking that it may be a good idea to start a family. You're always teaching Potter's and Blaise's child and I'd like to do that with you with our child." Draco said taking her hand. "That's only if you want to too." His voice softened.

"I'm really glad you think that." Hermione whispered looking up at his to give him a smile.

"What else did the doctor tell you?" Draco asked.

"Well," Hermione stood up to look at him, "after some tests she told me I am pregnant."

Draco's eyes got teary and he hugged her gently. "Please tell me I'm not dreaming." He whispers into her neck.

Hermione chuckled and played with his blond locks. "Are you happy about this then?"

"Happy is an understatement. Let's think of a name and let's star doing something in the room." Draco's eyes lit up excitingly making Hermione giggle. "Hermione what if they're twins?"

"We'll know soon enough."Hermione reassured.

Draco nodded. "What if I'm not a good father? What if they hate me?"

Hermione kissed his forehead, "our kids will love you. Don't worry about it Draco, you're going to make a great father."

Draco smiled happily and kissed her. "Should we tell our friends?"

Hermione nodded. "How about we invite them over? I don't really feel like going out much anymore today."

"Let's head home."

That afternoon Draco helped Hermione prepare a light dinner for then and their friends. Hermione was happy about that because usually he came late and ate whilst she showered then he went to shower but he always found her asleep. The only moments she had to enjoy her husband was in the mornings and weekends due to him trying to work whilst he tried finding people to work for him. Having him a whole day just for her was pretty uplifting. Two strong arms wrapped around her waist and little kisses trailed up and down her neck. "I love you." Hermione whispered.

"I love you too Mrs.Malfoy." Draco smiled against her neck. He spun her around and bent down to her stomach. "I love you too my little dragon cub." He placed a kiss on her flat stomach. "Wait until my parents hear about this." Hermione giggled at the expression she hadn't heard in a long time. They went to the dining room and the guests started arriving.

Narcissa and Lucius appeared in the floo network chimney. Hermione smiled and welcomed them in. "Hermione dear, are you alright?"Narcissa asked.

"Draco told us you were sick, how do you feel?" Lucius touched her forehead.

"I'm feeling better than ever now." Hermione reassured them with a kind smile.

"That's good." Narcissa hugged her.

Harry, Ginny, Teddy, and James arrived next. Teddy was now 7 years old and James was a baby barely a year old. Teddy hugged Hermione as she was his favourite teacher and a good listener when he needed her. Teddy stayed by her side whilst other people started arriving. "How are you Teddy?"

"I'm fine Hermione, how are you? I heard you were feeling nauseous this morning." Teddy said.

"I feel much better now Teddy, thank you for your concern. I made your favourite by the way, I hope you like it." Hermione smiled as his eyes lit up contently. "Come on let's go eat." Teddy hugged her then offered his arm for her to take so they could walk together. Teddy followed her to her chair and he pulled it so she could sit and then pushed it in.

"Hey Teddy." Draco greeted.

"Hello."

Draco ruffled his hair, "what do you have to show me today?" They had a little tradition where Teddy showed him to what he could transform. Ginny always kept a watchful eye on them because the first time Draco asked him to do something, Teddy had whiskers for a day.

Teddy smirked and transformed into a ferret them back. Harry bursted out laughing along with Ron and Hermione, others held back their laughter. "Harry told me you had a certain familiarity with ferrets."

Draco turned to Harry. "I hate you."

Harry smiled, "no you don't. You secretly love me."

Ginny smirked. "Draco stop flirting with my husband."

Draco put his hands up in defeat. "Honestly woman, your husband is flirting with me."

"Draco, honey sit down." Hermione said.

Teddy made his way towards Jay Zabini making small talk with him as they ate. Ron whipped his mouth and turned to Hermione. "So why did you gather, all of us?" He asked as he gestured to everyone in the round table.

"Well." Hermione looked at Draco nervous and he called for everyone's attention. Hermione took his hand as they stood up. "We actually have an announcement." She gave Draco a small glance.

"We are expecting." Draco announced.

They sat back down and everyone congratulated them. Narcissa offered any help and Lucius said he was going to take care of the company for a few months so Draco could be around for her. Jay looked over at his friend but Teddy was quiet moving his food with his fork. Teddy pushed his plate back and exited the room. Harry stood up but Hermione stopped him. "Let me talk to him Harry." Hermione excused herself and went to the library teddy was curled up in one of the couches with a book. "What's wrong Teddy?" Hermione sat next to him.

Teddy sighed and scooted towards her. "I've seen how Harry and Ginny are occupied with James but I had you. I always come to you and now, you're not going to be with me."

"I'm always going to be here for you Teddy. You know I love you and just because I'm having a baby doesn't mean I love any less." Hermione ran her fingers along his hair.

"Can I tell you something I want to do?" Teddy asked and Hermione nodded. "I want to change my hair. Mum had hers pink and I want to do something like that. I want to turn it blond like Draco but with aqua highlights. I've tried it before and it looks really cool."

"Show me." Hermione encouraged. Strands of Teddy's hair turned aqua. "I like it. Come on let's show everyone else." Hermione stood up and grabbed his hand to walk back with him. It was save to say that Ginny almost had a heart attack when she saw him but quickly composed herself.

"Can I do that to my hair but with green?" Draco asked.

"No." His mother and Hermione scolded

Hermione and Teddy sat down and smiled at each other. It was safe to say that the two were ok and Teddy didn't mind the new baby any more.
