Hello everyone, before you say anything, I realized I haven't uploaded a chapter since the 6th of June so it's been like a week since I last uploaded. I know that yesterday was Father's Day and I should've uploaded this yesterday but I didn't so I apologize.

But yeah today's chapter with feature Madzie as Malec's daughter, I love Madzie so much she is so adorable, anyway the chapter is about where Magnus had a bunch of clients to deal with and Alec is working on Father's Day and Catarina is busy so she can't babysit Madzie for a little while. So what happens when you take your adorable little warlock to a Institute full of Shadowhunters that loves kids especially warlock kids?

Magnus's Pov

Well this sucks, I am packed full of clients that need help, Alec is working a double shift today and Catarina can't watch Madzie for a little while. What a lovely day to start of on Father's Day. I was getting ready for a next client when Madzie ran in and grabbed onto me

"AH- Sweetie you scared the absolute shi- stuff out of me" I said trying not to cuss.
"I want to play why can't we play Papa?" Madzie asked sitting on my lap
I sighed and held onto her "well sweetie I am very busy today but I promise you we can play later" I said.

She pouted, her pout was so adorable she copied Alec's pout after we adopted her when she was 3, she's 9 now and a complete pain of my as-
"What about dada?" She asked
"Dada is at work"
She pouted again "and Auntie Cat?"
"Busy as well" I said
"Everyone is so busy its so boring" Madzie complained.

I agree sweetie. I want my Alec to be here hanging out with Madzie, play whatever we want, watch a late night movie, you know have an ACTUAL Father's Day than spending the day at work ugh!
I heard a door open and close and Madzie bolted out of the room to the front door.
"DADA!" She shouted
Huh? Maybe we will have a great Father's Day after all.

I walked out of the room and saw Alec holding onto Madzie "hey my little sorceress" he said kissing her on the head. I walked up to Alec and placed my hands on his shoulder.
"Hey sweetie" he said to me and kissed me. I smiled
"Ew" was all Madzie said.
Alec chuckled and set Madzie down, she ran off to her room.

"You're home early" I said
"Actually I do have to return back to work but they let me have a lunch break so I rushed back over here" Alec said
I sighed "well we're fine in case you were wondering" I said walking off

"Doesn't seem like you're fine" Alec said hugging me from behind "whats wrong?" he asked
I sighed again "I am packed with clients, Cat can't watch Madzie because she's busy as well and you are busy as well. I just need someone to watch Madzie for a little while" I said.

"I can take her to work" Alec said. I turn to look at him
"You sure thats a great idea? I mean she's going to be running around the place full of grumpy shadowhunters oh and there are weapons so if she cuts herself we don't know whats going to happen to her! Or what if a demon breaks in hurts her like that one forsaken did to you?" I rambled because I was nervous and anxious.

"Magnus...magnus calm down" Alec said placing his hands on my cheeks. He smiled
"Madzie is a good girl she won't around the Institute, in fact she's staying in my office. I will check on her every now and then to make sure she's okay. You have nothing to worry about" Alec said.
I nodded, I trust Alec, he's my husband why wouldn't I? I kissed him and smiled "okay Alec"
Alec smiled he called for Madzie.
Madzie ran out of her room and Alec picked her up
"Guess what sweetie" Alec said
"What dada?" She asked excitedly
"You are going to the Institute with me" he said.
"Yay!" Madzie screamed.

I smiled "you be a good girl okay" I said to her and she smiled.
"I will Papa" she said. I kissed her on the forehead.
"We will come back soon" Alec said and walked out of the apartment.

I took a deep breath and my phone went off...great more clients.

Alec's Pov

By the time we got to the Institute, Izzy saw me and Madzie and ran up to us. "MADZIE!"
"Auntie Iz"
Izzy grabbed Madzie from me "wow you are getting big" Izzy said

Well its been 2-4 seconds since I waked through the door and Madzie was stolen from me. Izzy brought Madzie to the main room.
"Aw who is this cutie pie here?" One shadowhunter asked
"Thats Alec's kid" the other Shadowhunter replied
I watched them.
"I didn't know you were going to bring Madzie here" Jace said
"Magnus has a bunch of clients today, Catarina is busy so no one couldn't watch Madzie so I decided to bring her here" I said
"I don't mind. I love that kid and it seemed like the Shadowhunters do too" Jace said

I smiled at how the Shadowhunters were acting around Madzie.
"Oh Happy Father's Day" Jace said patting me on the shoulder.
I smiled in responce. I made my way towards the Shadowhunters.

"Boss, your daughter is adorable" A shadowhunter said.
"Thanks guys, can I have my daughter back now?" I asked.
They handed Madzie back to me. I took her to my office

"Do me a favor sweetie and stay here okay" I said. She nodded
"Okay dada" she said and sat at my chair. I smiled
"Okay Im going to close the door if you need me just call for me I won't be too far away" I said and she nodded again
"Good." I said and shut the door.
I walked back to the main room and went back to work.

3rd Person Pov

Madzie was bored, there was nothing cool to do, she found some paper and began to draw on them with he crayons she brough with her, not knowing the papers were actualky important documents for the Clave...oops.

After drawing on the last page Madzie walked around the office. She found her dad's bow. She looked at it and grabbed it, she saw the blade too. She studied the runes she wanted to grab the blade but she was more insterested in the bow than anything. She played with the bow. She remembers how her Dad would tell stories about his missions. She never became more interested in becoming a Shadowhunter. Only problem is..she's a warlock.
Madzie wanted to explore more of the Institute. She looked at the closed door. She couldn't reach for the knob. She used her powers to open the door. She ran out of the office with the bow in her hand.

Alec's Pov

We got a report of a demon attack somewhere in the park of NY, I sent some of my men out there. I looked at the office door, still closed, good.
"Uh Boss this demon is a shax demon." One shadowhunter said on coms
"Take it out before it hurts anyone else" I comanded them. I rubbed my eyes, I was exhausted. I wanted to go home and watch a movie with my husband and Madzie. It's freaking father's day and all Im doing is working this sucks.
"You okay Alec?" Izzy asked
"Yeah just exhausted" I replied
"Sorry that we have to call you in the middle of Father's Day Alec" Jace said.
I shook my head "no no its fine. Im the boss of the NY Institute I have to be here" I said.
"Yeah but we are taking time from your family" Izzy said. I saw Jace look at the office door and went pale.
"You okay Jace?" I asked him
"Uhhh hehe- I just saw the office door open by itself" Jace said acting like he saw a ghost.
I gave him a weird look at looked at the door...shi-
"Madzie!" I shouted and ran to the office and saw that she wasn't there. That little sorceress snuck out of my office.
"Crap! Madzie!" I called out looking around.

A bunch of Shadowhunters looked at me. My face turned red and I ran off looking for Madzie. I was running around the Insitute looking for Madzie, it seemed to me when I looked at one place she would run to another place. How can I tell? She would giggled everytime she does that.
"Madzie!" I called out. Nothing. I rolled my eyes "come on sweetie this isn't funny" I said.

I heard her run off again, I ran towards the sound and saw her run off. I chased after her

"Wah- get back here!" I shouted. She giggled and kept running. We ran around the training room and- wait what is she holding? Is that my bow?
"Freeze you demon!" She shouted at me holding my bow at me.
I froze.

I heard some Shadowhunters laugh at me. I just rolled my eyes. Madzie took off running again. I chased her again. When did she become so freaking fast?! When did I become so slow?!

Izzy tried to catch Madzie but she ran past Izzy, Jace tried to do the same but he ended up tripping. Smooth Jace smooth.
Madzie was giggling, she thought she got away from us but then I heard someone roar and grab Madzie making her scream
"Haha I got you!" Andrew Underhill said.
"Uncle andy!" Madzie said and hugged Andrew. I ran to Andrew all out of breath.
"Hey thanks. Andrew" I said panting.
Andrew chuckled.
"What is that your holding young one? Is that your daddy's bow?" Andrew asked.
Madzie nodded then giggled. What a little thief.
"Can I have it back?" I asked her
"Nope" she replied
"Can I have the bow?" Andrew asked
Madzie gladly gave Andrew the bow. I threw my hands up
"What the hell?" I asked
"Langauge!" Izzy, Jace and Andrew said. I stood there with an annoyed look on my face.

"Can I have my daughter back?" I asked Andrew. He shook his head "nah im good. You do your job I'll keep an eye on her" he said
"Fine" I walked towards the main room again and a bunch of Shadowhunters laughed at me. My face was red but I laughed it off.

After an hour or two has pasted, a portal opened up and saw Magnus.
"Hey sweetie" I greeted him
"Hey pup, Im ready to take Madzie back" Magnus said. I cringed at the pet name Magnus gave me.
"Uh Andrew has Madzie" I said
''Oh wonderful where is Andrew now?" He asked
"In his room located next to mine" I said. Magnus walked off.

Magnus's Pov
As I walked towards Andrew's room, I heard him reading something to Madzie and I heard her giggled. I opened the door slightly and saw Andrew reading a story to Madzie. Madzie had her head on Andrew's chest.
"Oh hey Magnus" Andrew greeted me
"Papa!" Madzie jumped up and ran into my arms
"Hey sweet pea" I smiled.
"I had so much fun here papa" Madzie said
"Oh did you now?" I asked and she giggled
I looked at Andrew "I hope she wasn't a handful" I said
"Nah she's cool." Andrew smiled
"Sweet pea why don't you go to dada" I said and Madzie ran out

"What a great kid" Andrew said
I smiled "you'll make a great dad someday Andrew"
Andrew blushed "well Lorenzo and I were thinking about adopting" he said
"You guys should, you two make a great couple and great dads" I said. He smiled.
"See you soon Andrew" I said
"See you Magnus and Happy Father's Day" Andrew said

I walked out and saw Alec holding onto Madzie.
"Ready to go?" I asked
"Yes" Alec replied
I opened a portal

"Oh wait I forgot to send off those paper works to the clave uh be right back" alec said setting Madzie down and ran to his office. Madzie ran through the portal.
Moments later Alec returned "all down" he said and walked through the portal.

3rd Person Pov

That night, they Lightwood-Bane family stayed up watching a movie and play board games. They had so much fun but it was cut off by a fire message from the clave. All the message said was
"Tell your daughter that she's creative"
Alec looked at it confused then looked at Madzie
"Hey Madzie...um did you do something in my office that I'm not aware of?" He asked
"No" she lied
"Sweetheart tell me the truth" Alec said. Magnus was confused yet he was trying not to laugh.
"I drew on some paper with my crayons" Madzie said

"Did those paperwork have any runes or words on it?" Alec asked
"Maybe...." She said
"Alec what's going on?" Magnus asked
"It appears that our daughter here drew on important documents and I sent it off to the Clave" Alec said
Madzie put her head down
"Oh no what did the clave say?" Magnus asked

"They like the drawings" Alec laughed which made Magnus laugh too.
Alec hugged Madzie "my little sorceress" he said
"Love you dada and papa" she said
"Love you too sweet pea" both Alec and Magnus said.
