Hello everyone and welcome to an all-new chapter, I apologize for not updating for the past few weeks I was busy with artworks for future chapters for Take A Closer Look and updating Steve/Barry so I've been slacking you guys and I am very sorry. But I am here now with an update.

So yesterday or so I was going to update this but Wattpad was acting up very bad, I was so worried that my work was going to be deleted because around that time I was writing Steve/Barry and it was having problems saving and I was like 'yeah this ain't happening today' then yesterday I was busy helping my mom, running errands then earlier today I had to take one of my neighbor's cute little corgi out for a walk while they pack up their stuff, I miss that corgi already god damnit.

Anyways, my Angels here is the chapter

Alec's Pov

I stood there and watched as Magnus walked away and entered the elevator. He made eye contact with me then the door shut closed, at this moment I knew I wouldn't see him again. Magnus and I got into a huge fight, I lied to him about the soul sword missing, he was angry at me and I don't blame him. That sword killed hundreds of Downworlders when Valentine activated it, he feared that since the sword is missing his people would be in danger. I stood there frozen, tears were streaming down my face as I saw my love walked out of my life, ending things between us. 

But I knew I could get him back one way or another. I still loved him and I know deep down inside he loved me too. 

We've been through a lot and we have fought through it. 

Is it better? Is it worse? Always sitting in reverse, it's just like we're going backwards

 Magnus's Pov

I walked away from Alec, his sad face almost made me stay but I couldn't bear it much longer I had to leave. My people's lives are in danger thanks to Alec lying about the Soul Sword, I was so angry with him, I should be mad at the Clave because they lied to but they always lie but not my Alec.  I walked in the elevator and took one final look at Alec, he had tears streaming down his face, I watched as the door closed. I looked down in sadness and felt the rose burning a hole in my pocket. I made a deal with the Seelie queen, I had no choice, our lives and our people are in danger. With Valentine and his son Jonathan out there looking for the Lake to raise the Angel, I had to find a way to keep my people calm.

I know where I want this to go, we're driving fast but lets go slow. What I don't wanna do is crash no

I knew our relationship isn't going to end forever, I still loved him and he still loved me. We've been through a lot and we have fought through it.

Alec's Pov (prepare for me to bounce between POVs ALSO do You know how hard it is to type Soul Sword without typing in Soul Stone? it's very difficult)

I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat, I couldn't focus on work, I couldn't do anything. I was thinking about Magnus and thinking about him made me miss him more. Izzy, Jace, and Clary were worried about me, I had dark circles under my eyes from crying and lack of sleep. Jace didn't look like he hasn't gotten any sleep as well, he's feeling my heartbreak. I saw Jace rub his parabatai rune and looked at me. I looked down at the I pad tracking down Valentine. We finally killed Jonathan so now all we need to find is his father. 

"I need a break." I said and walked off and went outside.

I sat down on the steps of the stairs and put my head in my hands. 

Just know you're not in this thing alone. There's always a place in me that you can call home whenever you feel like we're growing apart...

Magnus's Pov

I  couldn't sleep, I couldn't do anything without thinking about Alec. I miss him so much I want him back but a part of me is still pissed at him for lying to me but I was slowly forgiving him. I was sitting on my couch drinking my normal margarita, I looked beside me at the empty spot next to me, Alec usually sits next to me after coming home from work and lean his head on my shoulder and talk about his day, I usually massage his shoulder after battle, then I treated him with a kiss. I miss that so much. I heard a knock on the door, I rushed over there and saw Alec, I am still pretty pissed at him, I was about to shut the door on him when he stopped me

"Magnus." He said in his deep tone voice

"What do you want Shadowhunter? Is it about the demons?" I asked me

"There's something you need to know-" I quickly cut off Alec

"About the Queen, Well if you've come to tell me that she made a deal with Valentine, I already know." I said angerly, however, I was angry at Alec I was angry at the fact the Queen betrayed us like this. I went to close the door again but Alec stopped me

"Wait! Izzy has located the rift that the demons are coming from." Alec said

"Oh, and you want me to seal it what a surprise." I said. I saw Alec roll his eyes at me

"We need a warlock to seal one this severe." Alec said

"duh," I said rolling my eyes showing off my sassy side.

"The demons don't discriminate between Downworlder, Shadowhunter, Mundane they kill them all" Alec said to me

"I'll seal the rift but not because of you or the Shadowhunters because it'll save lives," I said then closed the door. 

Let's go back, back, back, back, back to the start. Anything that's worth having is sure enough worth fighting for. 

Alec, Izzy and I stepped out of the portal.

"This is definitely the place," Alec said, "What is that blood?" He asked.

"Where did all the demons go?" Izzy asked

I saw that there was nothing, no demons. I inspected the rift and saw how deep it was 

"The amount of energy required to seal a rift from Edom is substantial. It's not just a flick of the wrist" I said

"You gonna be okay?" Alec asked me worriedly, how sweet

"I'm the High Warlock of Brooklyn" I said and started to seal the rift then I saw something flying towards us. it rushed up and hit Izzy in the face, ouch.  "Cover me!" I shouted at Alec and started to sealed the rift

Quitting's out of the question. When it gets tough, gotta fight some more. We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love

Alec's Pov

I ran off chasing after this demon while my boy- I mean Magnus was sealing the rift. I saw a demon in the distance and took my shot. Of course, I missed, the demon started to come after me. My eyes went wide as I took off running

"Magnus!" I shouted at him. he was still trying to seal the rift.

We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love. If it's worth having, it's worth fighting for.

"Magnus!" I shouted at him again, he quickly sealed the rift even more. I ran closer and closer to Magnus. The demon started to shoot fireballs at me.

"Magnus!" I shouted once again. He turned around and shot the demon to pieces. I took a deep breath and shot arrows at the remaining demons. The rift was finally sealed and I saw Magnus collapsed to the ground. I ran to him

"Magnus, you okay?" I asked him

"You can't get rid of me that easily" Was all Magnus  said

Now every day ain't gon ' be no picnic, love ain't no walk in the park. All you can do is make the best of it now. Can't be afraid of the dark

Magnus's Pov

I was currently at the Insitute helping the Shadowhunters track down any more of those demons, so far there isn't any after I sealed the rift. I was at the computer when I heard Alec stumbled groaning in pain. I looked at Alec

"Alexander?" I asked him. I saw him lift his shirt up and his rune was glowing

"His Parabatai rune" Izzy said

"it's....Jace ah!" Alec screamed out in pain then collapsed on the ground. I ran towards him holding onto his shoulders.

Just know you're not in this thing alone, there's always a place in me that you can call home. Whenever you feel like we're growing apart, let's just go back, back, back, back, back to the start

Alec continued to scream out in pain, and then he stopped, he was breathing hard. He looked at his rune and it disappeared.

"I-I-I can't feel him. He's dead" Alec said breathing hard.

Alec's Pov

I got up after feeling Jace dying, I need to get to him, get to him and Clary. I saw Magnus open a portal. We stepped through. We ended up in the forest and we saw a bright glowing light. Oh no, we were too late. 

Anything that's worth having, is sure enough worth fighting for. Quitting's out of the question, when it gets tough, gotta fight some more. We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love

"Magnus you need to get out of here." I said to him but he shook his head.

"We need to find Clary and Jace." Magnus said. We made our way through the forest. 

We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love. We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love. If it's worth having, it's worth fighting for.

After we showed up to the scene, Clary was hugging Jace or more like kissing him, and Jace was...alive?

"Jace I thought you were dead, the rune it disappeared," I said

"Look at it now" Jace said and I did it was there. I was beyond confused. But I am glad to see Jace alive and Valentine dead. I looked over and looked at Magnus. He smiled knowing that everything was over. I couldn't help but smile. 

We've been driving so fast we just need to slow down and just roll.

Magnus's Pov

After everything was said and done, the Downworlders and Shadowhunters threw a great big party. It felt great seeing everyone smiling, laughing and cheering. 

"Hey" I heard Alec's voice

"Hey" I greeted back

Anything that's worth having is sure enough worth fighting for. Quitting's out of the question. When it gets tough, gotta fight some more. We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love

"You look like you got your energy back." Alec said to me. I nodded taking a sip of my drink

"My go-to home remedy after a major magic- depletion boiling hot bath, eight-ounce steak, medium-rare and a lot of these" I said to Alec. Alec smiled at me

"Any sign of demons?" I asked him

"None. Sensor maps are completely clear of wraith demons. It's the strangest thing, it's like they disappeared into thin air" Alec said

"Well, then we can take this moment to celebrate" I said taking another sip from my drink. I saw Alec about to take a sip of his drink when he spoke

"Can we talk?" he asked me. I nodded

"Yeah." I said

We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love. We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love. If it's worth having, it's worth fighting for

Alec's Pov (last one I swear) 

I took a deep breath as Magnus and I went outside. I need to get him back I love him too much to let him go

"Magnus, I'm sorry." I said

"Don't apologize" Magnus said

"No, I should've told you about the Soul Sword" I said

"It's in the past" Magnus said crossing his arms

"Magnus, ever since our fight, I-I can't think straight" I said. God, I am horrible when it comes to apologies. 

"Well, I  can't do anything without...thinking of you" Magnus said

We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love, we gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love. 

"Magnus, I don't think I can live without you" I said to him. It's true I can't live without him

"I thought I had to choose between you and the Downworld but I don't" Magnus said stepping forward "A wise man once told me 'relationships take effort'." Magnus said mimicking me. I laughed

We gotta fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for this love.

"Well, that's an understatement." I said and we both laughed. Then Magnus took another step forward.

"You know what's not an understatement?" Magnus asked. We took one final step forward and we kissed. God I miss having his lips on mine. We broke apart and looked at each other

"I'm all into parties but what do you say we get out of here?" Magnus asked me. I nodded

"Yes" I said and we walked hand in hand.

It's worth having, it's worth having fighting for
