I had a great Easter Sunday, I updated my book and watched a movie with my dad it was fun.

Summary: Magnus lost his powers (spoil alert) and he is lost without them. Alec is there to comfort him, he wants his boyfriend to understand that he's not alone, Magnus relaizes he can't live without Alec. (A/N: I will be adding my own scenes that didn't happen in the recent episode consider this as "missing scenes")

When you feel all alone, and the world has turned its back on you. Give me a moment please, to tame your wild wild heart.

Magnus lost his powers and he ks lost without them. Alec knows he is depress, he is trying everything in his power to make Magnus better but there is so much he can do for him. He notices that Magnus has been drinking more which made Alec very concern, he wasn't concern about Magnus's drinking back when he was a Warlock  but now that he's Mundane...he's scared that Magnus would turn to a full time alcoholic and according to his Mundane research, Mundanes could die due to the result of drinking which scared Alec really bad.

Alec, Magnus and the rest of the Shadowhunters were doing their normal tracking down demons, finding any leads of Jonathan when Alec looked over at Magnus who was helping Clary, the box with the ring inside was starting to burn a hole in his jacket. That reminds him he needs to plan a dinner for his lovely boyfriend. He is really nervous, he's gonna pop the question. As he was staring at him he suddenly remembered.

I know you like the walls are closing in on you. It's hard to find relief and people can be so cold.

After Magnus lost his powers, he turn to Lorenzo for help, Lorenzo was acting all cold as usual, his hatred for Magnus has blinded him for helping Magnus but since Lorenzo is the New High Warlock of Brookyln, he has no choice but to help him. All Magnus wanted to do was get hid powers back no matter what the consequences were. Either he's gonna die because of the power transfusion and/or losing his apartment.
Alec was surprised to see Magnus all happy with his new powers but he knew something was wrong. And he was right.
After bringing up the whole "moving in" converstation, Magnus collapsed, his nose was bleeding, coughing up blood and saying a weird chant in a different lanaguage, Alec was so scared of losing him.

When darkness is upon your door and you feel like you can't talk anymore

As Alec remembered that day where he almost lost Magnus he demanded his mother to give him the Lightwood ring so he can pop the question. He can't live without Magnus. He just can't

As Alec was sitting there waiting for Magnus to show up, the ring was hiding in the plate which was covered by the plate cover. Alec was starting to think Magnus wasn't going to show up, but he was wrong. Magnus showed up...all drunk. This made Alec concerned. Magnus was blurting out everything about losing his magic, not being himself without his magic....and can't live without his magic. Alec tried comforting Magnus but of course Magnus tried to push him away.

Let me be the one you call, if you jump, I'll break your fall. Lift you up and fly with you into the night.

"ALEXANDER PLEASE"
"No Magnus"
"Alexander get away-"
"LET ME BE THERE FOR YOU"
Alec shouted and wrapped his arms around Magnus pulling him into a tight hug. Magnus cried in his chest.

If you need to fall apart, I can mend your broken heart. If you need to crash and burn, you're not alone.

Alec didn't stop his tears from falling as well.
"I'm sorry Alexander" Magnus apologize still crying.
Alec stayed silent. He wants Magnus to be happy and obviously marriage isn't the answer.
"Magnus, why don't you get some sleep."
"No Alec you did all of this for me and I ruined it-"
"No no don't worry about it Mags...go to bed I'll join you in a few minutes okay"
Magnus nods then walked away.

Once Magnus was out of his sight, Alec started to clean up. Once he finished he looked at the ring that he was holding. He looked at the ring and started to cry. He isn't crying cause he couldn't propose, he's crying because he could've sworn he saw grey hair forming in Magnus's hair. If Magnus doesn't get his magic back...he's going tl lose him again.

When you feel all alone and a loyal friend is hard to find. You're caught in a one way street with the monsters in your head.

As Magnus was waiting for Alec, he looked in the mirror and saw another grey hair. He yanked it out. Magnus sighed. He sat on the bed. Magnus wants his powers back for sure but only have it long enough so he can grow old with Alec he doesn't want to be alone once Alec has died he wants to be with him forever even that means be with him in the after life.

When hopes and dreams are far away and you feel like you can't face the day.

Alec finally entered the room. The air was thick with silence and sadness. Alec sat on the bed next to Magnus. He placed his hand on his shoulder, Magnus smiled a little and placed his hand on Alec's hand.

"Remember Magnus, when things get crazy don't push me away" Alec said
Magnus nodded then pecked him on he lips "I'm fine Alec just had too much to drink"

"No Magnus what you said back there...now I know you're unhappy and I know I can't fix this but let me at least be there for you...I'm your boyfriend. I love you" Alec said tears welling up. Magnus didn't hold back any tears, he rested his head on Alec's shoulder. Alec pulled him close.

That night, Alec didn't sleep. As Magnus was softly snoring and resting his head on Alec's chest, Alec looked at his boyfriend. He felt so bad. He saw something in Magnus's hair. He studied it he pulled it come to find out it was attachred, it was another grey hair, Alec placed his hand on his mouth and sobbed looking at the strand of grey hair. He cant lose Magnus but he knows if Magnus doesn't get his powers back he'll lose him.

Because there has always been heartache and pain. And when its over you'll breathe again, You'll breathe again.

The next morning, Alec got up with a start. He knows what to do to get Magnus's powers back. He is going to talk to his father. Since Magnus is going to be by his side, he decided to send him away to help Maryse set up her book store. Alec went to a warlock who works at a physic store for Mundanes and demanded her to let him speak to Asmodeus.

When you feel all alone and when the world has turned it's back on you. Give me a moment please to tame your wild wild heart...

"Give Magnus his powers back"
"You know it will come with a price"
Alec was full on listening
"I will give Magnus's powers back if...you end your relationship with Magnus"
"What?!"
"Break his heart to save his life"

Alec was shocked and pissed off and yet he was thinking about it. Alec worst nightmare was slowly coming true...he was going to lose Magnus. But if that means to save Magnus...then so be it.

Alec made a decision but a decision he will regret later on. That night after a mission, he walked into the book store. He was greeted by Magnus who noticed how stressed Alec was.

Magnus felt his whole world crashed, did Alec just say he needed a break...from us? Magnus was crying now and Alec couldnt help but let a few tears fall. Magnus begged him to stay with him but Alec pulled away. Alec didn't want to do this to Magnus and Magnus clingly on like he is...is making things hard for Alec.

Its been a few days since their break up, Magnus was in a tough place and so was Alec. Underhill was trying to make a move on Alec, trying to invit him to his flat for a drink but Alec refused. One day Magnus was at the Institute talking to Jace and Izzy when Alec walked in.
"Magnus?"
Magnus turned to him and smiled slightly then flashed him his cat eyes and said "I understand why you did what you did"
Alec threw the i pad on the desk and ran up to him and kissed him. Magnus kissed him back. Oh how they missed being this close to each other. Jace and Izzy smiled. Even Underhill did, he knew he still loved Magnus, he only asked Alec to test him to see if he really can't live without Magnus. He was right.

Alec was happy and so was Magnus. Magnus realized that he can't live without Alec.
"Magnus.."
"Alec"

And then...they both said it. In front of everyone.

"Marry me"
Alec and Magnus looked at each other and smiled. Alec was in tears so was Magnus.

"Yes"

Anyways that is the end of that chapter, I hope you guys liked it. Votes and comments are welcome as always. Also sorry for the late upload I was busy and feeling a bit of a writer's block but I still uploaded a chapter :). I was actually going to end the story as the break up but then I relaized that it was too depressing and here in this book...it deals with happiness unlike the tv show *death stare at the producers and writers* come on guys one episode left and there still isnt a Malec wedding. We are waiting.

Anyways I am super tired, I'm going to bed now since its past midnight.
