Chapter 7:

His car was large and amazing. Alec got into the drivers seat and Magnus in the passengers side. First they went to Magnus's house so he could get some clothes for tonight and tomorrow night. They then headed to Clary's house. Today was Friday (the day before Maia's party) and Alec took them four to school then they meet up with: Jordan, Maia and Simon.

They have their school day and Alec had seemed distracted all day. He kept zoning out of conversations and only seemed to be paying attention to Magnus. After school, they all went back to their houses, apart from Magnus who went back to the Lightwoods. They were supposed to go to this party tonight but Alec didn't want to go. The others went to the party and left Alec alone. Magnus came back only a hour later. He entered the house with his spare key to the Lightwoods and went on a hunt for Alec.

In the house Alec has a secret room. It's hidden behind an old bookcase in the library. Magnus and Alec are the only alive founders of the room and they keep it as their secret, their secret room. When Magnus couldn't find him in his room, kitchen, lounge or bathroom so he goes to the library. When he sees that the rooms empty he then goes to the bookcase and goes to their secret room.
