Chapter 4:

When they had gone Alec and Magnus went to the study to talk quietly. Magnus sat down on the window seat and Alec on the floor.

"Are you okay Magnus? You've seemed distracted all night." Alec asked, worried.
"Yeah I'm fine, tired is all, just kinda wanna go to bed but I don't want to walk home in this weather." Magnus gestured towards the window.
"Why don't you stay over tonight? I'm sure some of your school clothes are still here from last time so you can change in the morning. You can stay in my room. Believe it or not but Izzy snores," they laughed quietly and Magnus nodded his head in agreement.
Alec stood up and handed his hand out to Magnus.
"Come on then, I'm tried too, we can go up now."
Magnus took Alec's hand to help him up but let go when he had his balance back.
They walked slowly up to Alec's room and chatted quietly. When they got there and were inside Alec's room, he threw a long shirt to Magnus and said,
"You can sleep in that if you want, I'm going to the bathroom quickly okay?"

Magnus nodded and got changed after Alec had closed the bathroom door. He got into Alec's bed, on the side that he knows Alec doesn't sleep in and closed his eyes. He was going to wait for Alec to come back in before he fell asleep but when Alec came back in Magnus was already asleep and his breathing even. Alec smiled to himself and went over to the bed. The pulled the covers up further on Magnus and moved his fringe out of his eyes and kissed his forehead. Magnus smiled in his sleep a little and then Alec got into bed and fell asleep next to Magnus.

Little did they know, after a few minutes after they fell asleep, Jace snuck in and took a picture of the two sleeping. He then went into Izzy's room and give the picture to her. She put it in a photo album where they were many different photos of Alec and Magnus. Some with them sleeping or hugging. One with them holding hands. Some are facing the camera and then smiling, others are taken without them knowing. Alec and Magnus don't know they have them. Izzy and Jace want them to get together.
