~(Y/n)'s POV~

"...What?" I asked

"I said my name is Brittany Miller, but you know me as-"

"I heard you the first time" I yelled, drawing attention to myself. "Sorry! Go back to your normal lives!"

"W-Wait...Helenia? As in the Helenia from our rival guild?" Jacklyn asked

"How did you even know we were coming here?" Adam asked, balling his fists.

"Well, you see, I kinda overheard you at your guild that you were planning on meeting up, so I decided to crash your little get together." The red head that I now know as Brittany explained.

"Why were you even at our guild?" Stephanie asked

"To put things short, I was going to do a sneak attack on (I/g/n)." Brittany explained "Speaking of which, which on of you would that be?"

"Me!" Adam said, raising his hand.

"No you're not!" I said, punching him in the stomach out of frustration. He dropped to his knees and grabbed his stomach. Once he falls, I stand straight, and compose myself. "I'm (I/g/n)."

"Great! Now that I know who you are in real life, I can finally do this!" Brittany said, jumping at me. I move out of the way, and she lands on the ground.

"Are you done?" I asked, not looking behind me.

"Not even close!" Brittany jumps at me again, and this time lands on my back.

"What the fuck?! Get off of me!" I screamed "OW! What is your problem?!"

"What happened (Y/n)?" Lily asked me

"SHE JUST BIT MY EAR!"

"Okay, that's enough." Nora yelled, peeling her off me.

I catch my breath, then said, "What the hell?! Did you seriously just do that?! Did you seriously just take a silly in game rivalry into real life?!"

"You deserved it and you know it!" Brittany yelled, trying to jump at me again, but was held back by Nora.

"For what?!" I asked

"For beating me in our fights online most of the time! I figured that if I could prove I'm stronger then you would be stripped of your pride, and never show your face on Kingdom of Krados ever again!" Brittany screamed

"Seriously...are you actually being serious right now? So you decided a good way to keep me from playing my favorite game was to crash a real life guild meetup, and attempt to claw my eyes out?" I asked

"What part of stripping you from your pride so you never log on again did you not understand?"

"That's seriously fucked up, you know that, right?" I asked

"Whatever it takes to get you off Kingdom of Krados!"

"Okay Nora you can let her go." I instructed. Nora did just that, and Brittany charged at me, but I stuck my arm out, stopping her from reaching me with my hand on her head.

"You bastard! Let me go!" Brittany demanded, swinging her arms.

"And let you continue your assault? I think I'm good as it is right now." I said, pulling out my phone, going through my Kingdom of Krados' message board. "Huh?"

"W-What's up (Y/n)?" Jacklyn asks

"Alright Brittany, I'm gonna let you go, okay? This is important information about the game, so don't attack me, alright?" I asked her

"No promises." Brittany growled

"You know what, good enough." I drop my arm back to my side, and keep my eye on her for a minute, before reading out a comment a player left that said,

Please help! Guild that is hacking the game!

Me and my guild came across a six person guild while we were on a quest, and they challenged us to a 'friendly' guild match. We accepted, thinking that it would be good practice before we go and fight the boss. As you could already tell, the guild was full of hackers, and are going around the game, looking for their next victims."

"Damn, that's pretty serious." Adam said, finally getting up from the ground.

"Wait...who's your character?" Brittany asked

"I'm Ivory in game." Adam said

"Was it a mi-" Brittany started

"NO! OKAY! I WANTED TO PLAY AS A GIRL!"

"Why didn't you tell us that the first time?" I asked, sitting down on the bench next to us.

"I thought you would judge me..."

"For playing as a girl? Why would we judge you? Plenty of people play as the opposite sex on video games." Stephanie said

"Y-Yea! You could've put more trust in us you i-idiot!" Jacklyn said, but then covered her mouth with her hand. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to say that!" Jacklyn hugged my arm, like she was trying to hide from Adam.

"No! Jacklyn it's okay! We know you didn't mean to say that to him! I'm sure he forgives you!" I reassured her.

"Well actually, I'm actually quite offe-"

"You say you forgive her right now, or I swear on my god you will never forget the pain I will inflict upon you!" I whispered into his ear. "Am I understood?" I only get a nod in response.

"I-It's okay Jacklyn! I forgive you, really!" Adam said

"R-Really...? You promise?"

"Yep, sure, I promise!" Adam said, fear invading his words.

"T-Thank you!" Jacklyn beams

"See? Isn't that seem better then saying that she offended you?" I whispered

"Yea...it is better." Adam said, smiling.

"Hey. Idiots. Can we get back on topic please?" Brittany asked

"What else is there to discuss? There's a guild who's hacking. Nothing we can do about it." Nora said

"Well, actually, I kinda have a theory about that." Lily spoke up

"I'm gonna be honest, I totally forgot that you were here." Nora said

"What's the theory?" I asked

"Well, the person who posted that on the message board said it was a group of hackers, right? So that means they probably reported their gamer tags, right?" Lily asked

"I'd assume so. Kinda dumb not to." Stephanie said

"So don't you think that the admins would have read through the reports, and checked to see if they actually were hacking, and banned them immediately?"

"She's got a point. The admins wouldn't just let this happen. If there was a report on hacking, they would have jumped on it as soon as possible." I said "But there's only one to prove that. We go home, log on, and look for these bastards ourselves."

"But we don't have six people in the guild, and if they are hackers or are just that good, we'd be completely slaughtered." Nora said

"That's true..." I said "Brittany!"

"No."

"Worth a shot." I said, scratching my chin. "I got it! Lily!"

"W-What?!" Lily asked

"Yea! You can download Kingdom of Krados, join our guild, and we can take on the other guild!" I explained

"There's just one problem with that (Y/n)." Stephanie said "She'd be starting as a level one, so it would still be no different from if we were still a guild of five."

"Easy. We spend the rest of today and tonight to level her up. If it comes down to it, we can use most of tomorrow too, but we have to stop around five o'clock tomorrow afternoon to actually travel around the map to look for the guild." I said, jumping up. "Alright! It's settled! All of us, except Brittany, will all log on and grind Lily up! She ca-"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! I never agreed to this!" Lily yelled

I just stare at her questioningly.

"...Okay fine I'll do it." Lily said

"As I was saying, once she makes her account, she can text me her username, and Stephanie can invite her to the guild."

"Speaking of texting, we should all give each other our numbers. Easier to keep in touch compared to getting online and hoping someone else is on." Stephanie said, already taking her phone out.

"G-Good idea." Jacklyn said

"Me too?" Brittany asked with her phone in her hands.

"No." Everyone except for Jacklyn and I said.

"Sure." I said

"I-I don't mind..." Jacklyn said

"Ew. No thanks." Brittany said, starting to put her phone away

"I'll take that." I said, pulling her phone from her hands, and typing in my number. "Here you go." I handed her phone back to her.

"C-Can I put my number in too...?"

"No!" Brittany yelled

"Eep!" Jacklyn yelped, hiding behind me.

"Well, I guess I'll see you idiots on Kingdom of Krados." Brittany said, walking away. "Never gonna use this number!"

"Then delete it!" I yelled back "I tried doing something nice, but NOPE!"

"(Y/n), calm down. Who cares if she doesn't keep your number?" Stephanie asked me "It's fine. What's important is that we're keeping your number."

"Yea, you're right." I said

"What else is new?" She took my phone, and entered her number into it, as I do the same. After a few minutes, we all have finished exchanging numbers.

"Well...today was interesting." I said

"I'll see you guys on Kingdom of Krados tonight. My house is right around the corner, so I'm walking home." Stephanie said, waving why'll not turning to look at us.

"Yea, so my mom decided to wait in the car this whole time, so I'm just gonna go." Nora said, walking away without another word.

"I drove, so I'll be going now. See ya!" Adam runs off, as I texted my mom that she can come pick us up.

Now it was just Jacklyn, Lily and I. We all just sat there in silence

"So...wonderful weather, huh?" I asked, trying to break the awkward silence.

"U-Um...yea! It's nice a-and sunny!" Jacklyn said, obviously still nervous.

"Calm down Blondie, he's just being the awkward idiot he is." Lily said

"Okay, rude...but also accurate."

"So (Y/n)...if you don't mind me asking...w-what's..." She said, but trailed off.

"What?"

"I-I said, w-what's your re..."

"What are you asking us? We can't hear you." Lily said

"W-WHAT IS THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN YOU TWO!" Jacklyn nervously yelled. Realizing what she had done, she looks around, and puts her hand over her mouth. "S-Sorry for shouting..."

"It's fine. And to answer your question we-"

"We're hopelessly in love." Lily said, grabbing my face, and turning it towards her to look into my eyes.

"O-Oh..." Jacklyn said, lowering her head. She sounded sad for some reason.

"No we aren't you freak." I said, pulling my face from her grip. "We've been friends since we were in elementary school."

"O-Oh! Really?" Jacklyn said, looking up at me.

"Yep. Known each other since we were five years old. Been inseparable ever since."

"You're no fun (Y/n)." Lily said, crossing her arms.

"Oh poor you. Anyways, my mom is here, so we need to go. See you later Jacklyn." I wave

"Um, bye (Y/n)." Jacklyn said with a smile. While I was walking away, I heard a ding from behind me, and see Jacklyn pull her phone out. Her smile slowly contorts into a frown.

"What's wrong Jacklyn?" I asked

"Um...my mom got stuck at work, so she can't pick me up..."

"What about your dad?"

"My parents...um...got divorced a while back...and my mom gained full custody, so I never get to see my dad..." She explained "W-What am I supposed to do?"

"Well, how did you get here in the first place?"

"I walked. B-But usually around this time, there are a bunch of people who look at m-me weird in school smoking in the convenience store a few minutes away from my house..."

"Hmmmm. Well I guess that settles it! Come on, you can come to my house and text your mom the address so she knows where to pick you up."

"A-Are you sure?"

"Yea, my mom will b-"

"(Y/n)! Hurry up!" Lily yelled from the car window.

"Can't you see I'm having a conversation?!" I yelled back, then sighed. "Come on. Oh! And one more thing!"

"Y-Yes?"

"No matter what my mom may tell you on the way back, they're all lies." I said "Understand?"

"Yes!"

"Okay, come on. Before my mom chews me out."

The car ride home was more awkward than the children's book about a monkey with a long tail who always gets himself in trouble. Wait...did he even have a tail...? Anyways, my mom kept telling embarrassing stories about me when I was younger. She brought up the time when I came home the day I met Lily and how excited I was to make a friend, and how "cute" and "adorable" I was acting. After that, we dropped Lily off at her house, and went back to my house to play Kingdom of Krados. I let Jacklyn use my main system while I played on my backup laptop. We invited Lily's character to the guild. She decided to be an elf as a species, and chose archer as her class. Her name was Efari. After a few hours, Jacklyn's mom came to pick her up. Then the rest of the weekend went by in a flash, and before I knew it, it was five o'clock in the afternoon on Sunday.

~(I/g/n)'s POV~

"Fucking hell. That took a long time to train you up Efari." I said

"Why don't you just call me by my real name? We're best friends."

"Safety reasons." I said

We were walking around the game's world, looking for the Guild that was accused of hacking.

"Ugh! I'm tired of looking for them! Can we give up?" Ivory said

"It's literally been five minutes." I said

"I know, but I'm so bored!"

"Stop being a baby. We all agreed to doing this." Kortana said

"We should talk about our plan IF we find them." I said "Naturally, Lelani won't be able to heal us since Guild matches are just a series of one on one fights between the members of the Guild. All of us will go in one after the other. I'll go first."

"That's not fair! I want to go first!" Ivory yelled

"It's probably better that (I/g/n) goes first. We can start off strong to scare them a bit. That's assuming (I/g/n) will win of course." Kortana said

"(I/g/n) will win! I know it!" Astaroth yelled

"Um, guys? Look." Lelani said, pointing ahead of us.

A Guild of six is walking our way. They stop in front of us, each one of them with a smile on their face.

"Hello! It's nice to see another Guild around here!" A boy, I'm assuming their leader, said.

"Nice for us too." I said "But, I've got one thing to say."

"What's that?" The boy asked

"We challenge you to a Guild match!"
