It was a cold and snowy night a woman was asleep in her own home and this woman's name was Summer Rose. She is awoken by a knock at her door she arrives at the door to see no one there but when she was about to close it she heard a cry. She looked down to see a baby in a basket. She picked the baby up and started getting the baby to calm down rocking it back and forth and the baby calmed down and looked Summer directly in her eyes, smiled and nuzzled into her and fell asleep. Summer's eyes lit up and she was happy but she started yawning and decided to head upstairs but when she went to walk she knocked the basket over and there was a piece of paper in it that said.

Whoever you are thank you for taking in my son. I couldn't take care of him because there are some people that wanted to get their hands on him and use him for their own personal reasons please make sure that you give him all the love and care a baby deserves his name is YN and he is the most loving kid any parent would want. I thank you again for what you are doing.

Summer "YN. I'm going to take care of you and make sure nothing bad happens to you."

She then took the baby upstairs and laid down on the bed with the baby known as YN.

Timeskip 3 years later

It has been 3 years since Summer took in YN and he was watching TV with another little kid or should I say sister. This little girls name was Yang Xiao Long and her father had just started recently dating Summer and they are expecting a child soon.

2 months later

A man that goes by the name Qrow showed up so that Summer could go and give birth and as Qrow sat down the two little ones sat down by him and fell asleep watching a movie. When the two woke up they started playing with their toys and then Qrow comes and says.

Qrow "Do you want to meet your little sister?"

Both kids nod and Qrow takes them to the hospital where Summer and Tai were at and once they arrive they enter a room and Summer is laying down with a baby in her arms and she says to the two.

Summer "Come here meet your new baby sister Ruby Rose."

Timeskip 8 years later

it has been 8 years since the Birth of Ruby Rose and now YN is 12 years old Yang is 10 years old and Ruby is 8. They were all playing outside and out of nowhere YN falls to the ground clenching his head screaming it wasn't from what they were doing but it was something else. Tai and Summer ran over to him and saw that he had blood coming out of his mouth and he then collapsed to the ground. He was rushed into the hospital and was taken into the ER and ruby and Yang were scared.

Yang "Dad is YN going to be alright?"

Tai "He'll be fine."

the two parents were holding their kids and praying that their son was going to be ok Summer got a call from Ozpin about a mission and she denied it saying that her sons health was more important than the mission . They have been at the hospital for two days and Qrow brought the kids back and a doctor comes out and says.

Doctor "Are you the parents for YN Rose?"

Summer "We are. Is he going to be ok?"

Doctor "Follow me."

They follow him into a room where they have YN hooked up to multiple machines and  someone else in his room and the person pulls out a needle and puts it in the side of YN's neck.

Doctor "There were no procedures for that. HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!"

The person that was in there had the Atlas logo on his sleeve and when he saw everyone outside of the room he jumped out of the window. Everyone rushed in and checked on YN and his vital signs seemed normal then they all hear.

YN "*Groan* Mom, Dad where am I?"

Tai "YN your at the hospital. Do you remember what happened before you woke up?"

YN "I remember playing with ruby and Yang when my head started hurting and then boom I'm here."

Summer "YN you had blood coming out of your mouth and you were screaming and when we got back to see you someone came in here and injected something into your neck and ran off, but I'm glad your alright."

Summer hugged YN and the others soon followed and when they all separated the doctor said.

Doctor "Strange."

Tai "What?"

Doctor "When I left earlier his heart had a hole in it and now it's all closed up."

YN "Was that the cause of the blood coming out of my mouth and me having a massive headache?"

Doctor "Yeah thats what it looks like."

YN "Does that mean I can go home?"

Doctor "Yes it does young man."

He gets out of the bed and the family leaves and heads back to the house where they decided to train the three.

Age of 16

YN's Pov

Ever since that day YN has became faster stronger and more agile than Summer, tai, and qrow have ever seen. One night after they all had dinner Ruby asked YN.

Ruby "YN can you hang out with me in my room?"

YN "Sure."

Yn and Ruby went to her room and they were sitting down, talking, having fun.

Ruby "YN?"

YN "Yeah?"

She hugged him and said.

Ruby "Thank you for being my brother."

YN "Your welcome."

he kisses the top of her head and hugs her back before he starts tickling her. she was laughing up a storm and when he stops he tells Ruby.

YN "I gotta head to bed I'm pretty tired good night Ruby."

She runs up to him and kisses him on the cheek before running back to her bed and YN walks out and closes the door. He sees his mom and dad looking at him.

YN "Good night mom good night dad."

He gave the both of them hugs before heading to his room and closing the door and falls asleep or at least that's what everyone thought.

When he knew that they were all asleep he grabbed his armor.

grabbed his weapons

He placed all of his stuff on and he wrote a letter and said to every family member and said.

YN "I'm sorry but I can't stay here for the moment thank you for the memories and up until now I will be back in three years I promise.

He slid the letters under their doors and went to his room and he opened his window and climbed out and then closed the window. This was the beginning for YN Rose or as people will know him as Deathstroke.
