Your Pov
I woke up to another dark and wonderful day in The City (if anyone knows the true name could you please tell me in the comments?). "What a beautiful morning!" I said to myself as I sat up in bed. "I know today's gonna be a beautiful and wonderful day!" I shouted as I got out of bed to get dressed for school. "The sun is shining behind the clouds, the blue skies are hiding behind a curtain of purple clouds, and all the birds will be back once the clouds are gone!" I said happily even though I live alone. Yes, my parents allowed me to live on my own once I was 15. Why they allowed it, I'm not sure, but it's been wonderful! I've been going to school, working, and even still had time to hang out with friends! I met this new kid at school, I think his name was Zim? He seems really fun and has a cute dog! Then theres Dib and Gaz Membrane. Dib wants to be a paranormal researcher, so he's been studying a lot to become like his father. While Gaz has just been going with the flow for now and playing a lot of video games. While she has quite a temper, I can't help but think she's cute. Ah, why would she go for a guy like me? I'm way too happy to be with someone cool like her. (This is not how I truly think of all of you. You're all wonderful just the way you are.) She would probably be with someone like Zim since he's somewhat like her. I then looked at the time and freaked out, "8:50 am?! I'm gonna be late!" I shouted and hurried through my morning routine.
-three minute timeskip-
I was running out the door with a small piece of toast as I looked to my neighbors and saw the Membrane siblings walking out their front door. "Hey (y/n)!" I heard Dib yell. I waved and jumped into my car as they walked over before I drove off. Dib opened the door and laughed a bit. "You do remember that there's a pep rally today right? School won't officially start till about 10 am." I laid my head on the wheel and laughed. "Oh, yeah. Sorry, I guess I got lost in thought earlier and completely forgot. Oh, hi Gaz." She just looked at me and groaned. "(Y/n) why are you always so happy?" I shrugged and looked back at her. "What's the point in being miserable all the time if it won't allow you to enjoy the wondrous things in life?" She growled and turned away.

Gaz's Pov (gotta have a bit more Gaz in here.)
I swear (y/n) is just too happy all the time. Even if he is the exact opposite of me, I find him cute. But I'm not gonna say anything, because why would a guy like him like someone like me? Plus, he's bound to have a girlfriend or someone like that. It's just his (h/l) (h/c) is amazing, his beautiful (e/c) eyes are perfect and he's the perfect height for picking me up. He's just so perfect, yet I'm not gonna say anything.

Back to Y/n's Pov
I noticed Gaz was deep in thought, but decided not to bother her. I know what she can do and I'm not about to risk getting her angry or even annoyed. "So, you about to head to the pep rally Y/n?" Dib asked me breaking the silence that had randomly fell upon us. Nice job author, not ever realizing the silence. Heh... Sorry bout that. Anyway, he'll repair the fourth wall later, back to our regularly scheduled chapter. "Yea. I'm about to head to school so I can get through the day with a bright smile!" I said with a smile. I heard Gaz groan again and get in the front seat, pushing Dib out of the way in the process. "Hey! What was that for?" He asked only to receive a glare from her. He gulped and satin the backseat in fear for injury. I chuckled and started the car driving off to our School.

Still Y/n's Pov
I parked in my parking spot and shut the car off, watching as people left the gym and went to class. All three of us got down and started walking, but I was stopped by Gaz. "Hey, Y/n. Can I ask you a question?" She asked sounding nervous. "You just did." I laughed as she hit my arm, causing me to rub it in slight pain. "Idiot. I mean a serious question..." She paused while staring at me, she looked like she was trying to think of the words. I tilted my head, but before I could say anything she kissed me. After a few minutes we pulled away as she had a dark blush. "Say anything to anyone and I will hurt you." She told me as I smiled and laughed. "Ok. Oh, and yea I would love to hang out with you later and go to the dance next week." She smiled slightly and looked ahead going back to her usual look and walked with me to class.
