Malia's P.O.V.

"So, all you have to do is convince her to come back." Evie explained to Ben.

"When she's in a situation like this, she tends to not give in easily. Believe me, it's happened a lot." I added.

"More than a lot." Hallie added. 

It was then we passed by a gate that had the shape of a skull on it that said "Keep Out". I froze as I looked at it and immediately wanted to go inside.

"Baby, what's wrong?" Jay asked.

"Uh, I need to do something really quick." I said, but I knew he could tell I was lying. He turned to look at the others.

"Go get Mal. I'll catch up." he explained. They nodded before walking off. He cupped my cheeks and looked at me before looking back at the gate.

"You want to see him, don't you?" my boyfriend asked.

"Jay, he practically raised me. He was there for me and was a better parent figure than Mom. I may not have a dad, but he's the closest I have to one. I have to see him because it's been six months. Hades needs to see me." I explained.

He smiled before kissing my lips and resting his forehead against mine. "Go ahead. I'm gonna catch up with the others. You know where to find me."

I nodded before he kissed my head and walked off. I got the key and opened the large, metal gate before going inside quietly. I closed it and walked a little bit before getting a helmet and the bike I used to use when I would come here.

Once I got to my destination, I found Hades sleeping on his couch with his sunglasses covering his eyes to the sound of a barking dog disc playing.

I decided to turn it off because it was annoying if you ask me.

"What are you doing here, Celia?" he asked. He must've thought I was his errand rat who was Dr. Faciler's daughter, Celia.

"Guess again." I replied.

As soon as I said that, his head snapped forward and he took off his sunglasses. I could see the shock on his face.

"Malia?" he asked. "Hi, Hades. We meet again." I said.

He got up and walked over to me before he wrapped his arms around me. I smiled as I returned it and I tried not to get emotional.

"I missed having you here." he told me as he stroked my hair. "You have no idea." I replied.

He pulled away and I could tell his light blue hair had grown more than the last time I saw him.

"How's life in Auradon?" he asked.

"Good. I'm with Jay now. Also, I have some news for you. I would tell my mom, but she'd flip out." I explained.

"What's the news?" he asked as he handed me a can of canned corn with a plastic spoon. I began eating as did he.

I held out my hand and showed him the ring Jay had proposed to me with.

It took him a few moments before finally realizing. "Are you two?"

"Yep. We're engaged." I answered.

He smiled before he picked me up and spun me around like how he would do when I was a child.

"I'm sure you two will be very happy together." he told me as he set me down. I giggled as he ruffled my hair and he examined it.

"I kind of miss the green and purple highlights." he explained. I chuckled as I shook my head.

"Well, you should get going, Malia. Go to Jay and have fun." Hades said.

"I wish I could bring you." I explained.

It was so bittersweet at the moment. I was happy to see him after so long and now, I have to leave him behind once again probably for the last time.

I really wish he was my father and that he could have a second chance.

"At least you're finally getting a second chance that I wanted you to have." he told me.

I nodded before I hugged him for probably the last time before I walked off and exited the cave.

Once I was outside, I locked the gate and walked through the streets of the Isle. It was then I saw two figures running to me. I instantly recognized them.

"Melanie? Janessa?" I asked. "What are you doing here?"

They hugged me before pulling away. "We snuck into the trunk. We just escaped." Melanie explained.

"How? It was locked." I told them. "Daughter of Hercules, remember?" Janessa explained, pointing to her best friend.

"Good thing we were able to find some leather to blend in." Melanie added.

"Whatever. Let's go find Jay and the others." I said as we all ran through the Isle and saw them panicking. Also, Ben wasn't with them. I instantly got a bad feeling.

"Guys!" I called out. They looked at me and I could see it written all over their faces.

"What are you two doing here?" Carlos asked in confusion. I held my hand up. "Not the time. Where's Ben?" I asked.

"Uma, Harry, Gil, and their crew kidnapped him. We have to tell Mal." Jay said as he stood by me.

"Harry Hook?" Melanie asked. All heads snapped in her direction.

"You know him?" Hallie asked.

"Yes. Do you as well?" she asked.

"He's my older twin brother. I guess I forgot to tell you my last name." Hallie explained.

"We've been talking the past two and a half months. I've been sneaking into the Isle." Melanie told her.

"Same here, but with Gil Gaston." Janessa added.

"Okay, we'll get to that topic later. For now, let's focus on getting Ben back to Auradon." Evie said.

We all climbed the ladder that led to Mal's new place.

My sister totally wasn't going to be happy about this at all.
