Malia's P.O.V.

Thank the gods it was the weekend. Jay and I were going to go on a double date with Shane and Hallie.

Hallie and I were currently in the middle of getting ready in our dorm room. My sister was with Ben doing some stuff for the preparation of cotillion.

"So, I've been thinking about something." I said as I finished applying eyeliner. My best friend looked at me in curiosity.

"Spill the tea, girl." she replied.

"I'm thinking of asking Ben if he can bring Harry here to Auradon." I explained. Hallie looked at me in shock and I could tell she was happy.

"Really?" she asked.

"Yes. I want to do something meaningful for you and I know how much you miss him, so I could do that." I explained.

Hallie engulfed me in a huge hug with a smile on her face. "Thank you so much, Mali! This is why you're my best friend!"

I smiled as I hugged her back. "No problem. Now, let's finish up. Don't want to keep the boys waiting." I said.

We went back to our business before we picked out our outfits and finished getting ready. Props to Evie for getting us more going out kind of outfits.

"For the first time, we match." Hallie said as we both laughed.

We grabbed our purses and left the dorm room. The both of us walked down the hallway before we ended up at the stairs and we saw Shane and Jay talking.

"Oh, boys." I sang with a smile.

They turned and smiled as they saw us. Hallie and I walked down the stairs before I went to Jay and she went to Shane.

"What do you think?" I asked my soon-to-be husband. "I love it. Really brings out your eyes." he replied as he kissed me.

"You guys ready to go?" Shane asked as he wrapped an arm around Hallie.

"Yep." Jay and I replied.

The four of us left the building and got to the boys' motorcycles. They handed us some helmets and we all put them on.

I held onto Jay and leaned my head on his shoulder as he started the engine and sped off. Hallie and Shane followed a few moments after.

'Sometimes, I wonder what Hades would think if he found out Jay and I were engaged. Probably would have a better reaction than my mom would.' I thought to myself.

After almost 15 minutes of going through the streets of Auradon and passing by castles and such, we were finally at a place that had just finished being built and was now open.

"Wow. This is amazing." Hallie said as we got off the bikes and took off the helmets.

The building happened to be a roller skating rink with an arcade and food plaza. Totally the perfect idea for a date.

Jay grabbed my hand and all four of us walked inside and I smiled at all the beautiful details about it. The roller skating rink was bigger than I had imagined and the smell of pizza, burgers, and french fries filled my nose.

"Should we eat first or skate first?" Shane asked.

"Eat. I'm starving at the moment." I replied.

"I was gonna say that." Jay said as he kissed my head.

"Same here." Hallie agreed.

We went to the counter where we ordered our food. The four of us all got burgers and fries with some milkshakes.

Now, we were just waiting for the food to be ready at a table.

"So, how's things with the engagement? Have you guys planned anything?" Hallie asked.

"We're just going to have a small wedding. Just our close friends and Belle and Beast. It's going to be where the Enchanted Lake is." Jay explained.

"Yeah, I was also thinking of inviting Hades, but I don't know if Mal or Ben would let him." I explained.

Shane and Hallie nodded in understanding. I had told Shane about my connection with the god of the underworld a while back.

"We're gonna plan the decorations and stuff next week." I added.

Just as I finished my sentence, our order was called out, making my stomach rumble more than it already was.

Shane got up and got the tray before bringing it over to our table and I smiled at my burger.

We all began eating and just enjoying our date.

"When's the wedding gonna be?" Hallie asked.

Jay and I smiled at him. "Next month."

"Have you picked out the groomsmen and the bridesmaids yet?" Shame asked us as I took a bite from my burger and put some fries in my mouth.

"My groomsmen are going to be you, Ben, Doug, Chad, and my best man is gonna be Carlos." my fiancé explained.

"My bridesmaids are gonna be Mal, Evie, Lonnie, and Jane. My maid of honor is none other than you, Hal." I explained.

They smiled and I could tell they accepted the offers.

"I'd be honored." My best friend said as she took a drink from her shake.

"As do I." Shane added as he fist-bumped Jay.

We finished our meals and went to get some skates. Once we did, we put them on and carefully walked to the rink.

Hallie and Shane skated off, holding hands while I looked at my fiancé.

"This is the best date I've ever been on in my entire life." I said as I kissed his lips. He tucked a piece of hair behind my ear before he kissed my nose.

"Anywhere with you is amazing."

We skated together hand-in-hand as I smiled.

I laughed as Jay picked me up and carried me. I extended my arms as he skated around the rink, feeling the breeze hit my hair.

He set me down before he took my hand.

"I love you, Malia. Forever." he said.

"I love you too, Jay." I replied.
