Authors Note: there will two stories in this. Theyare both sad kind of so if you dont like sad stories then dont read this.

The Iwatobi swim team decided they needed a break and were currently staying on one of the islands from their training camp. Makoto was sitting with Haru on the beach, both if them exhausted from swimming a few moments before. They were watching Nagisa and Rei playing out in the water and Anya floating on her surf board with her arms and legs dangling in the water.
'Is she asleep?' Haruka asked plainly
'Hehe i guess so. All that swimming really got to her i guess. It sure did with me.' He said with a smile. It was sunset and the sky was a gorgeous orange and red giving everything a pink and purple glow. Makoto watched the sleeping girl as Nagisa and Rei's laughter filled his ears. The three out on the water were far from shore but easy to see. Anya being the closest to shore.
'Have you told her how you feel?'
'Nah, i dont want to worry about it right now. I'll tell her later before we leave in a few days' Makoto replied with a content smile.
They sat there for a while just staring at the beautiful water before them. There was a small movement in the water near Anya. Not much but Makoto noticed it.
'Haru...did you see something in the water?'
'Hm?'
'Nevermind'
A minute later a fin came out of the water and a sharks head came out and attached itself to Anya's leg dragging her under with a loud gasp coming from the girl.
'ANYA!! ANYA!!!' Makoto yelled.
The two boys jumped up and ran into the water and started swimming as fast as they could to Anya's surf board with Nagisa and Rei there already. She wasnt underwater for long before she shot out and grabbed onto her board with the remaining arm gasping and grunting.
Rei was trying to pull her up but she jerked back almost underwater and yelled but then held on tighter and came back up.

Haruka reached her first. She had her head hung down on the surf board with blood staining the surrounding water red. Rei and Nagisa's attempt to get her up were futile as she was awake but unresponsive to their panicked voices.
Haruka pushed her up and rolled her onto the board. Makoto wanted to vomit but he stayed calm. Her right leg was bitten off at the knee down. She wasnt saying anything but she was breathing hard and blinking so he knew she was alive. Nagisa and Rei swam back to the shore and called an ambulance.

They got to the beach and kept her still. Haruka was sitting crouched down in front of her stroking her face and Makoto was right next to her holding her hand and stroking her arm. He was trying to stay calm and speak to her in a calm voice whenever she would grunt out a question. Her gasps got quicker as the ambulance pulled up and picked her up onto the stretcher.

Makoto got into the ambulance with her and held her hand the whole time. As soon as they arrived they all rushed out and Makoto wasnt allowed any further. He waited in the waiting room impatiently woth the rest of the team. After a while the doctor came out and said that they managed to save her. They Iwatobi team walked in to her sleeping form.
'I'll help you get through this Anya. Whatever it takes.'

-time skip-

Its been a while since the shark attack. Anya is still bubbling with joy like she always did. She doesnt come near the water. It was very upsetting for the team to see someone who loved water almost as much as Haru become terrified of it.

After everyone graduated the Iwatobi team met up at the island. Makoto was shocked to see that Anya came. He stared at her beautiful form taking in her beautiful adult but still delicate form including the metal rod that she stood on from the leg that she lost at this very location. She was standing in line at an ice cream stand not noticing her former team in the distance.
'How did you get her to come' Makoto whispered harshly to Gou.
'Well it took a lot of pizza and sucking up but she caved eventually' the red haired girl whispered back with a smile and a wink. Makoto jogged over to his high school crush and stood next to her in line.
'OMIGOD, Makoto hey. I missed you guys so much, how are you?' Anya asked excitedly.
'Hehe im good, im a fireman now and Haru and I are roommates.'
'How am i not surprised' she said with a laugh 'yeah i own a small café up north'
'i see.' He replied.
They waited in comfortable silence when a childs whisper to his mother broke it.
'Momma what happened to her belly?'
Anya looked at the family with a blush spreading across her cheeks. Makoto slid in front of her to save her embarrassment.
'Hush sweetie' the mother whispered angrily ' i am SO sorry' she said to Anya.
'Oh dont worry about it, heh' she said while crossing her arms over her resuscitation scars from the shark incident on her rib cage and over her heart.
'Thanks' she whispered to Makoto who smiled at her.
A few minutes later they were happily walking down the beach eating their ice creams and talking about their high school days when suddenly, Makoto stopped in front of her.
'A-Anya... ive been wanting to tell you this for a very long time now...'
She nodded and looked at him patiently.
'U-um, well you see...  uhh ive kind of uh... liked you for some time now and.. um. Iwaswonderingif... you felt the same?' He hung his head in embarrassment. She let out an airy laugh and hugged him.
'Of course i do' she said and leaned up on her tip toes to lay a kiss on his trembling lips.
She pulled back as both of their expressions turned serious as they joined their lips again but more passionate, and again more feverishly until they were stumbling into his hotel room. They both fell onto his mattress breathing heavily with soft grunts. He kissed down her neck, in between her breasts and down to her hips clad in a string bikini. He feathered light kisses in between them with few kisses on the inside of her thighs before pulling back up to her neck. Anya clawed at his back and let out soft moans and grunts. Makoto pulled at the strings on her bikini top and bottom as he flung it to the side , while she pulled his swim trunks off. They both stopped and took in the beauty of each other.
'Youre so beautiful' he said in between pants.
She pressed a long kiss to his jaw and worked her way to his neck where she left a hickey.
'Are you ready' he asked.
'Y-yeah' she panted out.
He moved his hips up into her as she let out a loud moan into his neck. He hung his head down into the junction between her neck and shoulder. The noises she was making sent chills of pleasure down his spine as they rythmically rocked their hips together. Letting out loud grunts and moans.
'Faster Makoto' she breathed into his ear and he obeyed. They both got closer until a few more pumps that she reached her climax inducing his. Tremors coursed through their bodies filled with so much love and passion.
'Youre heavy' a soft voice whispered to him.
He chuckled and rolled over pulling her into his muscular chest.

~the next morning~
The new couple walked into the breakfast area of the lobby hand in hand. The rest of the iwatobi team stopped and stared at them. Anya sat down slowly after Makoto awkwardly pulled her chair out before sitting down himself. The whole team was looking at them, minus Haru who was looking down with a blush at the tip of his ears.
'Faster Makoto' Nagisa choked to Rei with laughter
'NAGISAAA' Makoto shouted in pure mortification. He was shaking when he heard a hearty laughter next to him. He looked at her with terror written across his face.
'OH MY GOD.... OH..  THEY HEARD US!!' Anya said between fits of laughter. Soon enoigh everyone was laughing at Makoto's reaction. But he still loved her even when she laughed at THE MOST inappropriate times.
