•~Vanessa and kidnapper~•
Vanessa's heart raced as she realized she had just revealed her true name and admitted to taking the oath. She knew she had made a grave mistake, but there was no turning back now.
She braced herself for what was to come next.
The man's eyes glinted with a mix of triumph and sadistic pleasure. He was thoroughly enjoying the control he had over her, relishing in the power he held.
He stepped closer, his presence suffocating her as she remained bound and vulnerable.
"So, Vanessa Smith, now we're getting somewhere, aren't we?" he taunted, his voice laced with satisfaction. "But I have a feeling there's more you're hiding from me. You see, I've done my research too. I'm getting surer by the day that this is a bigger evil than any of you minions let on."
Vanessa's eyes widened, a flicker of fear passing through her gaze. What else did he know? How deep had he delved into her past? She tried to maintain her composure, but the restraints made it impossible for her to escape or defend herself.
He circled around her, like a predator stalking its prey, his eyes never leaving her exposed form. Vanessa could feel his gaze roaming over her body, and it sent shivers down her spine. She fought against the rising panic, refusing to let him break her spirit.
"Tell me, Vanessa, what do you know about this institution you were a part of?" he asked, his tone dangerously low.
She hesitated, torn between revealing what little information she had and protecting herself. But something told her that he wouldn't stop until he had squeezed out every last secret from her lips.
"I... I don't know much," she admitted, her voice trembling slightly. "I was just a pawn, a mere cog in their grand scheme."
He chuckled, a sound filled with mockery. "Oh, Vanessa, don't play coy with me. You're smarter than that. I know you have more to share."
His words hung in the air, and Vanessa's mind raced, searching for any shred of information that could appease him. But as hard as she tried, she couldn't find anything substantial. She had always been on the fringes, a pawn that knew only what was necessary.
"Please," she pleaded, her voice strained. "I've told you everything I know. I'm just as much in the dark as you are."
His face contorted with frustration, the mask of control slipping for a moment. But then, a sinister smile curved his lips, revealing his true intentions.
He moved closer, invading her personal space, and the scent of his cologne mixed with the metallic tang of blood filled her nostrils.
"I guess we'll have to find another way to extract the truth from you," he whispered, his hot breath tickling her ear.
Before she could react, he grabbed her forcefully by the shoulders and pressed his lips against hers in a brutal kiss. His tongue forced its way into her mouth, exploring her with possessive aggression.
Vanessa's mind screamed in protest, her body frozen in shock. She struggled against him, but his grip only tightened, his dominance unyielding. Tears welled up in her eyes, mingling with the taste of his intrusion.
Finally, he pulled away, a sadistic satisfaction etched across his face. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, smirking down at her trembling form.
"Remember, Vanessa, I can make your life a living hell. There are countless ways I can make you talk," he sneered, his eyes glinting with a twisted pleasure.
Vanessa's body trembled with a mix of fear and anger as she locked eyes with her tormentor. Despite the violation she had just endured, she mustered up the strength to speak, her voice laced with defiance.
"You think a stolen kiss is enough to break me?" she spat, her voice dripping with contempt. "You're delusional if you believe you hold any power over me. I'm not just some pawn in your sick game."
The man's face twisted with fury at Vanessa's words. He leaned in close, his eyes burning with a malicious intensity.
"You don't understand, Vanessa," he growled. "You have something that belongs to me, and I'll stop at nothing to get it back. I will make you regret every moment you dared to cross me."
Vanessa's heart pounded in her chest as she struggled against her restraints, her mind racing for a way to escape. She could feel her fear mounting, but she refused to let it consume her.
In a moment of distraction, she noticed a slight looseness in the ropes binding her wrists. With a surge of adrenaline, she seized the opportunity. Pulling her hands apart with all her strength, she managed to free herself just as the man lunged towards her.
With newfound freedom, Vanessa wasted no time. She swung her fist with all her might, connecting solidly with the man's gut. He doubled over in pain, momentarily taken aback by the unexpected turn of events.
"You underestimated me," Vanessa gasped, her voice filled with determination. "I won't let you destroy me."
Before she could make her escape, the man's desperation kicked in, and he tackled her to the ground, causing her to lose her balance. She tumbled down a small flight of stairs, her body crashing against the hard concrete floor.
Pain radiated through her body as she lay there, dazed and disoriented. Darkness began to edge in at the corners of her vision, threatening to consume her consciousness.
The kidnapper, panting heavily, looked down at Vanessa with a mixture of rage and triumph. He saw this as an opportunity to regain control over the situation.
"You should have known better than to resist by now," he snarled, looming over her weakened form. "You're going nowhere."
As he reached down to grab her, Vanessa's hand instinctively darted out, seizing a nearby object—a broken shard of glass. With her last ounce of strength, she slashed at him, catching him off guard and creating a deep gash across his arm.
He recoiled in pain, momentarily stunned by the unexpected counterattack. It was just enough time for Vanessa to crawl toward the basement door, her vision fading with each agonizing movement.
Just as she reached out for the doorknob, a searing pain shot through her body, and everything went black. The kidnapper had caught up to her, delivering a swift blow that rendered her unconscious.

Delivered, as promised.
Also, I'm aware this is getting too dark for some of you. I used to write light mostly. But the characters are such that things can't just go all smooth and fun. But I do understand that not everyone could enjoy reading this, so I can only suggest you read some other work of mine. This one might get a little dark.
Love,
Ethan (FastAndDeep)
