I look down at my feet in the pond that we had stopped at a few weeks after leaving Konoha. Knowing they probably all know by know that I'm gone. I hope they're all alright...

I shake my head and smiled as the koi nipped at my cold feet.

Kuna appeared behind me huffing, and possibly grinning from ear to ear. "Guess what Hiro!?" He said excitedly sitting beside me.

I raised my brows as he showed me a small stuffed cow with huge gold eyes. "Uuuhhh, moo?" I asked as he wiggled the toy in my face.

"No," he rolled his eyes. "There's a harvest festival going on in the nearby town and they were these little things for sale!" Again he waved the cow in my face.

I sighed. "Great. Now how far are we to the mist country?" I asked as I stood putting my ninja shoes back on and grabbing my bag.

Kuna pouted as he stood back up, but answered none the less. "Another week of traveling like we have been and then we'll be there."

"Let's start heading out....and we might just go through that festival." I said as I started down the path towards the village closest to us.

"Yes!" Kuna screamed as he pocketed his cow and off we went.

I danced with some of the girls and some guys at the festival that was in full swing. Me and Kuna were sorta just pulled into it, but we were okay with it, we can catch up with our schedule if we ran.

Kuna was gushing over random things he found cute or funny after we finally stopped dancing. I had to admit some of the stuff was cute, so I bought some of it, putting it into one of my scrolls and then back into my bag.

Finally we left, stomachs stuffed with food we bought from the festival. And hearts light from the stress relieving.

"What about the pink haired girl?" Kuna asked another question about the picture he held, the same one we took in our genin years.

Where we all were still learning. Learning that the ninja world is a hard one.

"That's Sakura, an annoying secret stalker of the duck butt but she has the potential to become a great nin with her smarts, and what not if she'd stop obsessing over the Uchiha." I told him as I twirl a stick into the air then having it land back into my hand.

Kuna looked up with a raised brow, ducking a tree branch that came out if nowhere. Well it is a huge forest were walking through. "Wait, Duck-butt is a Uchiha?"

"Yup," I said popping the p. "The last one, brother having killed off his clan and he's out for revenge that will only end if he could open his eyes better."

"Hmm, what about the blonde, the one I saw with you the first time we met?" He asked handing back the picture, already having asked about Kakashi, which I replied with the sentence, "A lazy sensei who's a pervert."

"Naruto Uzamaki, my boyfriend. He wants to become Hokage one day, and I believe he will. He's enthusiastic, and fun and bright. Not the smartest, but filled with determination. And that's what I love about him." I told him as I looked at the bright smile of Naruto's, his arm around my waist as I smiled as well.

Kuna was quiet for a moment before talking once more. "That's nice." He said.

I laughed. "Yeah, it is."

"Pahaaaaa....." I sighed heavily. "This is nice." I said as I sunk deeper into the large hot spring we had stopped at for the night. Close to where Kat was. We might just stay here until we can figure out a plan of action.

"It is indeed." Kuna said as he slid inside, sighing as well as we enjoyed the warm water.

Suddenly as half my face is in the water, a bright yellow rubber duck floated past my face, then another and another before suddenly the whole spring has been filled with rubber duckies, all in different little themes and colors.

"What the...!?" I said as I pulled my face out of the water to speak before turning to Kuna.

Kuna was the culprit, he was holding a scroll where the face was towards the water where a waterfall of duckies were coming from.

"Kuna..." I said lowly face bland.

Kuna looked over at me with his curious childlike green eyes. "Yes?" He asked.

"Why?" I asked.

"Why not?" Kuna said with a pout.

I sighed and let him do what he wanted, at least the water was nice.

I secured my bag across my shoulder, leaving Kuna to buy some food for our small trip to the next village where there we start our plans to rescue Kat.

I headed into a postal office smiling at one of the workers as they had smiled first. I went to the counter and gave the letter to them and payed for their service before heading off.

I was ready to end this all. Ready to get my best friend, save the world, and then go back home.

"Ready Hiro?" Kuna asked with a serious face on. Even though I kept seeing his childish face in the hot spring.

I looked at the path ahead, then back at the long haired nin. "Let's go."

And off we went.

Off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz!

Hah, no, but anyway I did do another and only under an hour, and I seriously haven't been doing any prework stuff, cause if I had I would have been finished with this book about a month in from starting.
