Wiping gently under his eyes, Yoongi quickly looked away from the man. He looked back after he was sure that his tears were gone. Offering a tired smile back at him, Yoongi wrote his name in the dirt near Jihoon's.
"Min Yoongi." Jihoon nodded his head, smiling again. Beginning to sign at a fast pace, Jihoon looked extremely happy as he did. Panicking slightly, Yoongi stared at the male with wide eyes. Yoongi pursed his lips as he waited for Jihoon to stop signing. The boy eventually stopped signing, staring at Yoongi for a response. Yoongi raised his hand, pointing to himself, tried his best to express that he didn't know sign language. 'O' ing at Yoongi's actions, he waved him off, holding a finger up to tell Yoongi to wait. Reaching into his pocket, Jihoon pulled out a pair of hearing aids, putting them in his ears. Switching them on, Jihoon smiled a little.
"That's better," Yoongi's eyes widened once again, gaping at the other male. Smiling wider at Yoongi's facial expression, Jihoon started to laugh gently. "Your reaction, was by far the best"
Continuing to gawk at the deaf boy, he sat there with the same expression on his face.
Tilting his head to the side, Jihoon gave him a curious look.
"Do you talk?" Yoongi immediately shook his head. "Ah, that's alright. Everyone is different, right?" Nodding his head again, Yoongi looked down at his hands. Thinking hard, Jihoon pulled out his phone and opened the notes app. "Does this help?" Smiling at the trying male, Yoongi nodded his head. The male gave the other his phone, sitting back on his hands. Typing away at the screen, Yoongi showed the male the phone screen.
"I've gone through some stuff in the past and I'm uncomfortable with talking, but I technically can still talk."
"Ah, I see," "I was born deaf and have been taking speech therapy since I was 5. That's why I'm able to speak. The hearing aids help me hear, but my hearing isn't perfect," the latter gave him a thumbs up, pure amazement etched on his face.
"Maybe one day, I could tell you what happened to me.." looking down, Yoongi gave Jihoon back his phone. Smiling back at him, Jihoon pat his back.
"There's no rush, don't worry about it. But I've got to get going, friend is going to start wondering where I went. My school break isn't that long. Hope to see you around Yoongi," patting his shoulder, Jihoon stood up and left Yoongi alone on the cliff.
Looking back out to the view, Yoongi let out a loud sigh before standing up and heading to his car as well.

Packing up his books, Jimin puffed out his cheeks.
Even though the male had seen the boy that had ash gray hair several hours ago, he still felt a bit empty.
Standing straight and throwing his bag over his shoulder, Jimin left the classroom, walking down the packed staircase. Shoulders brushing against each other as people passed by, Jimin being the thin, small framed male he was, was easily pushed around by the other students. Not intentionally, of course.
The small male was pushed forward on the staircase, falling down the stairs, landing on the platform provided. Holding his head in one hand, Jimin sat there on the floor, trying to focus his vision. People crowded around the small boy, asking if he was alright. The small boy frantically flicked his eyes between all of the moving mouths. He could feel his throat closing up, his vision going fuzzy.
Pushing through the crowd, an abnormally tall male shoved the people surrounding Jimin, crouching in front of him.
Snapping his fingers in front of Jimin's face to get his attention, the boy began to sign to him.
"Are you alright?" Nodding his head, Jimin signed back.
"I'm fine, thank you." The boy pursed his lips, helping the small thin boy to stand up.
"C'mon, I'll take you to the nurse just to be sure." Wrapping his arm around Jimin, he walked down the rest of the way down, and into the nurses area.
"Excuse me-" the nurse turned her head at the voice. "He fell down the stairs just now. I just want to make sure that he's alright." Rushing over to the boys, she started asking Jimin questions, the small boy's eyes widening slightly.
Standing behind the nurse, the other male began signing to Jimin.
Nodding and shaking his head at the appropriate questions, the nurse smiled.
"He's alright, nothing to worry about. You two are free to go," Walking to stand next to Jimin, he smiles at him.
"We can go." Nodding at him, the two of them left the nurses office.
Turning to face the taller male, Jimin tugged on his sleeve, looking up. Looking down on the small male, he raised an eye brow.
"Thank you for looking out for me," looking down, the floor suddenly seemed a lot more interesting.
Laughing gently at the smaller's shyness, he ruffled Jimin's hair. Moving his glance back up, Jimin smiled shyly at him.
"It's alright, don't sweat it. My best friend: he is deaf too," perking is interests, Jimin's eyes lit up with curiosity.
"Really?" A small smile rested on the taller's features. Humming in approval, he pointed behind Jimin.
"There," whipping his head around to look at the fellow 'deaf' male.
The other deaf male smiled brightly at the curious other, waving his hand a little in his direction. Standing in front of him, he looked down at him. Jimin was roughly 5'6 in height, most of his friends and others being at least 5'9. This other male stood at around 5'7.
"Hello, I'm Lee Jihoon."
"I'm Park Jimin"
