i'm very salty about the fanfictions that have 0 thought process behind them and shitty grammar/spelling and bad covers and obnoxiously cliche storylines with the stereotypical female lead that either:

a. pursues the guy even though he's an asshole

b. blows the guy off and is the asshole

like please there's more ideas out there and ik they're popular for a reason but like

don't y'all get bored by that

and there's people out there with hella bomb fanfics with good spelling and grammar and fuckin amazing storylines and solid character development but they rarely get the attention they deserve because the shITTY FANFICS ARE BEING PRIORITIZED

i'm so mad

like one of my friends is writing a fanfic on an under represented idol and there's only like 300 reads on it like what the fuck he's underrepresented shouldn't people be going crazy over this fanfic with a solid storyline and fluff and feels and angst what the fuck

AND THEN THERES THOSE ACCOUNTS

WITH LIKE 4K FOLLOWERS AND THEY COULD POST A STORY WHERE A CHAPTER IS LITERALLY JUST THE ALPHABET WRITTEN 69 TIMES WITH THEIR ELBOWS

AND IT'D STILL GET MORE READS AND VOTES WITHIN 24 HOURS THAN A FANFIC WITH GOOD CONTENT WITHIN A MONTH
