Dear Basketball

I remember the first time I played basketball with my grandpa at Joy park . I threw it up and came down and smacked me right upside the head . That electric feeling when you release the ball from your fingertips into the hoop is priceless. There is nothing more exciting than playing on a metal net hearing the sound of the ball hitting the ground after a big swish.

Nothing more exciting than when you're in the 4th quarter down by two the pressure is on. The ball is in your hand and the clock is winding down to the last second crowd is on your edge of their seat . Not realizing this is a moment you'll never ever forget when you release the ball as it spins around and goes in the net . Then you hear the roar of the crowd as they cheer!

Growing up I watched all kinds of sports but basketball was the one that really stuck with me
The players that fascinated me were Kobe Bryant, SHAQ , MJ, Kevin Garnett, Larry Bird , Nate Robison and Iverson.

There were so many people who influenced me however I was far from where I wanted to be starting out . Ultimately the best teachers I learned from were former teammates. My  brother taught me a thing or two but I learned quickly to be the best you have to compete with the best.
You  will occasionally get your but kicked however you should use failure as a lesson . I have learnt so many things  from the game of basketball.
