A group of heroic young people banded together to save the world and their small town. Afterwards they hid the secrets of what they had done away. Refusing to have the previous events tainted onto the towns legacy.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Nancy asked the group as the looked down at the pile of tapes, newspapers, files, and anything hinting to Hawkins history stacked high up on the floor.

"Well I mean do you want people to move out of a now perfectly normal, and safe town?" Dustin retorted back as he threw the last stack of news papers on the pile.

Nancy stared down and nodded, as the group surrounded the pile staring at the centre before Mike spoke up, "El should do it."

The sound of agreement echoes throughout the room as El stepped forwards taking the lighter out of Wills hand and bending down turning it on. Everyone watched as she dropped the lighter causing the pile to erupt into a dance of rhythmic flames.

Every record of what they had spent the last years of there lives trying to destroy, was gone.

No record of their bravery.

No record at all.

The only thing remotely left, was about Wills Vanishing.

"Now what do we do?" Max asked from her wheelchair, as Lucas stood next to her. The orange colours of the flames illuminating their faces.

"We live our lives and pretend like we all had normal childhoods, I guess?" Will said turning to look down at the ginger haired girl in the chair.

And with that they left.

And for 20 good years no one knew, but nothing ever lasts forever, instead of staying home a group of teens decided to go on a little excursion. To the abandoned Hawkins power building, and when they accidentally start a cascade of events.

On November 6 2007 a group of slightly drunk teens sat in a room, as their parents all chatted in the room next door.

"Truth or Dare?" Ellie Harrington asked Alex, who was leaning back on his hands staring up at the ceiling. The sounds of kids shouting could be heard from the next room.

"Hmm, Truth." Alex proclaimed rolling his eyes at the brunette, who put a finger to her lips, calculating what question she would ask.

"Okay.. do you like anyone in this room?" Ells asked a smirk playing on her lips as Alex went bright pale, and his eyes for a split second flashing towards, Julie who was leaning back up against Dylan's bed, all of their parents had decided to have a get together tonight.

"What.. pfftt no." Alex snapped quickly as Julie studied his face for a second. Before she shook her head a small smile on her lips. Then she gave the cup in her hands to Eden who was sitting next her fiddling with her ginger hair.

"This is BORING!" Julie yelled out standing up on Dylan's bed wobbling, she had the most to drink, which was now clearly obvious to the group.

"Well everyone will Kill us if we leave, for some reason today is like super important to them." Dylan says hitting a handball on the ground over and over.

Then Julie gasped.

"I have an idea!" She proclaimed standing on the bed as if she was a queen, "We could, climb out the window and explore that lab, I mean technically it's school work because of that stupid project we have to do on that place."

The room went silent.

"You know what fuck it. I'm bored." Ellie responded standing up wrapping her jacket around herself as she pulled open the window and climbed out before the whole group could even come to an executive decision they knew the plan for their evening.

Had been decided.
