AN: This oneshot does contain spoilers for the musical Be More Chill, so read at your own risk if you haven't listened to it!

Lars' POV

"I need your help." I heard someone say after math class from behind me. I turned around and there was Mia Fernandez, holding a sheet of paper in my face.

"If this is about homework help, you've got the wrong person." I said. I was about to go to class when Mia tugged on my arm.

"No, Lars, you don't understand! You know the assignment for Honors Theatre? To write an assignment on our favorite Broadway musical? There's a slight issue with that, I don't know any musical and you do and please help me I really don't want to fail." Mia said. I lit up and nodded frantically, pulling out my phone.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"I'm gonna put my musical playlist on shuffle. Whatever comes up first is the musical you're listening to." I said. I put the playlist on shuffle and The Pitiful Children from Be More Chill came up. The Two River Theater version, that is. "Hey, Mia, you're listening to Be More Chill! Basically, a chaotic bisexual who's very gay for his best friend who's gay for him back takes a wintergreen Tic Tac and the Tic Tac convinces him to corrupt his whole high school and take over the world."

"You corrupted Mia." Grace Khatri squealed as she ran down the hall. She came to a stop and got into Mia's face. She dropped her voice and whispered, "There's no going back."

"Should I be...concerned?" Mia said. Grace giggled and said, "Not at all! So, basically, Jeremy Heere is this loser dude who's very obviously gay for his best friend Michael Mell and Rich sees this so he writes 'Boyf' on Jeremy's backpack and 'Riends' on Michael's but Jeremy likes Christine who is this theatre-obsessed cinnamon roll oh my God I love Christine but Rich has been on this supercomputer drug for two years straight and convinces Jeremy to get on the same drug, it's from Japan by the way, and so Jeremy gets on the drug and it's a time so his crush Christine is now dating this dude Jake who's parents have been arrested for money laundering the drug makes him optic nerve block Michael who has a panic attack in the bathroom at a Halloween party and Rich sets a fire and he burns down the house and then the SQUIP, that's the supercomputer pill drug thing, decides to make Jeremy SQUIP everyone and then Michael makes an entrance and saves the day and then Jeremy gets with Christine any questions?"

I was cackling at the way Grace described it while Mia looked deeply concerned. "Yes Grace. I have several questions."

"It's not as bad as Grace made it sound, okay? Meet me in the cafeteria for lunch."

"Here's my headphones. And here's my phone, have fun." I said, handing everything off to Mia. Sunny Kobayashi was sitting at our table too, picking at her pizza and looking at us in confusion. "What are you making Mia do now?" she asked.

"In our defense, this is educational." Grace said. Sunny sighed and went back to her lunch.

Mia hadn't even pressed play yet and I was already laughing. But when she did, she looked at me like she had just witnessed a murder. "WHAT THE HECK? WHAT THE ABSOLUTE HECK IS THIS?"

Mia stayed quiet for the better part of twenty minutes and then said "This is so gay. Oh my God this is so gay."

"Two-Player Game." Grace and I said at the same time, smirking. Mia started to get up and then she screamed "IS JEREMY OKAY?"

"To be fair, is he ever?" Grace said. I honestly snorted at that. Mia started to screech a little and then she said, "What...where did Pinkberry come from? What even is Pinkberry?"

"Frozen yogurt." I said. "I forgot that none of us are even from America."

"How did you forget that?" Grace said.

"NOOOOOOOOOO JEREMY NO DON'T AHHHH MICHAEL NO!" Mia screeched. I looked at Grace and then took Mia's arm. "We're listening to the rest of this in private, people are staring at you."

"Huh?" Mia said, ripping the headphones out of her ears.

After school, Mia, Grace and I were in Mia and Sunny's dorm room and Mia had just finished listening to BMC.

"So, did you like it?" Grace asked. Mia sighed and started to stand up.

"It's from Japan. It's a grey, oblong pill. Quantum nanotechnology CPU." Mia sung.

"The quantum computer in the pill will travel through your blood until it implants in your brain and it tells you what to do." Grace joined in.

"So...it's like...drugs?" I asked. Grace smirked and said, "It's better than drugs Jeremy."

We all looked at each other and screamed "ITS FROM JAPAN!" at the top of our lungs, not even noticing Sunny walk in the room in full soccer attire.

"I-I have a game and I was gonna ask you to come spectate but...you know what I'm not even gonna ask." Sunny said, leaving the room.

"Oh, we'll be right there, just let us finish this sing along."
