Fear the Rainbow (Part 2)
Lars' POV
"What are you guys doing here?" Kai asked as soon as he saw my friends and I. I laughed and said, "You seem to have invited the whole entire school, and it feels a bit...rude to invite the whole school and leave out us! What happened to inclusion and diversity? Oh wait...those two words refuse to register in your brain, huh?"
"Damn. Larson's popping off." this other kid said. Kai put his hand in the kid's face and said, "Don't defend him."
Grace Khatri, my best friend, starting laughing at the top of her lungs. "Really? You've been a homophobic, transphobic jerk to all of us since the day you've met us, and you call us the rude ones? God, you're pathetic."
All of my friends snickered a little bit and then Mia Fernandez said, "Pop off, Grace!" Grace smiled at Mia and then said, "Where's the cake?"
"Quick question...where's the masking tape?" Sunny Kobayashi said with a sly grin on her face. My friends and I all looked to each other, knowing exactly what Sunny was planning.
We were going to make Kai Hudson fear the rainbow.

Twenty minutes later, the whole shopping mall looked like a Pride Parade, with rainbows and glitter and pride flags strewn all over the place. Kai Hudson was standing in the middle of all this mess, crossing his arms and staring daggers into all of our eyes.
"Is Kai intimidating you guys or is it just me?" Evie Schubert said, taking a rainbow flag on the wall near a pretzel stand.
"Nah, I'm not letting him bother me. The looks he's giving me are actually hilarious, I cannot stop laughing right now. God, what does he have against us?" Sunny said.
"That we're gay and I'm under the trans umbrella?" I asked. Mia said, "Well, most of the kids in our school are LGBTQ+, so Kai has a bone to pick with all of them. And if he took the time to only invite the cishets to this party, he would only have 10 people show up!"
"And I bet you a million bucks that half of the 'cishets' in our school are closeted gays." Grace said. We all laughed and took in the scene of rainbow happiness and joy.
"This is amazing. I feel like I accomplished something. Something amazing." I said. I heard obviously fake gagging sounds coming from far away and then Kai screamed, "I need my Bible!"
"I think we did a pretty good job. Here's to Majority Minority." Mia said.
"Here's to us.
