On big day of Christmas, SK had done spectacular decorations,  theme was white Christmas with simple elegant decor
seating arrangements for dinner was in garden right next to Christmas tree, with gifts for everyone

Kids unaware of what happened between Abhi n pragya in these days , they involve Tanu in their plan n in excitement to Execute plan they forgot to inform Abhi,
Here aunty also didn't knew kids plan, she didn't even knew that kids lie to pragya that they think Tanu is the one, she is continuing her plan to emotionally taunting pragya that she is doing wrong with Abhi by not accepting his proposal
Keeping everything behind Abhi's only concern is Pragya health n for him mission Mrs Mehra is on hold
SK, Uncle n Pragya are in there own world

All were sitting for dinner, near Christmas tree in garden
Abhi was sitting between Pragya n Tanu, left to her were kids n right to pragya was SK n then her parents

Abhi whispered
"Pragya... are you feeling fine??...doctor said periods can be too heavy n they might be for more days then usual"

"Really ..you went back to doctor for details"

"You didn't said anything so...."

"So you will spy on me n called doctor"

"You didn't gave me choice"

"You are impossible"

"Everybody attention please....
Dad every year you gave us gifts for Christmas, this year is going to be other way around, we have something very special planned for you"
Veer n Aarya announced together

"What are you talking about veer?"
Abhi was excited yet confused, he had no idea about their plan

"Dad just check your right pocket, n give it to love of your life, we know it's her n we love her"
Veer winks at Abhi

Pragya's heart started beating faster, n got nervous, sweat started building on her forehead
Abhi took out little red box, n there was ring in it, he looked shocked n sign to kids ....what is this???

"Dad we figured it out, we know who is your lady love, we too love n admire her"
Arya beamed

"Who is lucky the girl???"
SK inquired

Pragya was getting stressed n , she closed her eyes
She was thinking "I can't deny in front of kids n if Tanu too doesn't wear it then kids will be heartbroken n if she wears it then Mr Mehra will be heart broken"
This was noticed by Abhi, who was already in fix
He thought "pragya already told she won't marry me for countless times n if I ask Tanu wear ring...chances are ...she might not wear it at all or she may wear but again I don't love her n can't play with her feelings", finally he decides to take risk

"What is taking so long dad make her wear it"
Veer again winks at Abhi, but he still doesn't get it

Everyone is clapping, Abhi is about to take out ring from box but it's stuck so he pulls it really hard n ring falls on ground

"What Abhi??? You dropped engagement ring"
SK laugh

"Ohh I was supposed to get engaged.... that's surprising"
He mummers to himself

"Abhi stop it n find ring"
Her mom gets hyper, she thinks kids know it's pragya

Everyone was busy finding ring

"Take this .. my ring n ask him to make you wear it, please ...for kids, I know you might not love Abhi now but he is really nice person, eventually you will love him too"
Pragya gets too hyper, she thinks if Abhi will make her wear ring in front of kids then she will not able to deny

"Come on pragya.... We are already a thing... didn't you notice it... anyways I love him.. kids already know about that... I was holding it back only because I thought kids might not approve of me, n Abhi what can I say about him... he was just telling me... he was about to make me wear ring"
She over acted n lied n pragya was shocked and heartbroken

"That's great, I thought it's one sided so I told to wear it"
Pragya felt bad, she thought Abhi has already decided to marry Tanu for kids

"Found it... Abhi ... you can make me wear this"
Tanu shouted with excitement

"Abhi I found your ring"
SK shouted with excitement

"Wow two rings!..... n I can't make my love wear it"
Abhi mocks on his fate And made Tanu wear ring given by Pragya

"But Abhi this ring is small,...no problem, it's perfect for my pinky finger N Don't worry Abhi... we can have proper engagement ceremony back in Mumbai with family n friends"
She continues doing over bragging, he thought she actually loves him n he was feeling guilty for her as he has already decided to tell her truth once this party gets over, n which will break her heart

"Congrats Abhi n Tanu"
Everyone wishes
But pragya went straight to washroom,

She just came out from washroom n he was already standing there

"Congrats Mr Mehra"

"Pragya... your ring"
She was about to take from his hand n he quickly makes her wear it

"Mr Mehra.... what are you doing??"
She tries to take out ring

"I'm giving you ring back"

"This not my ring"
She gives him back

"It's for you.... whom I love"
He again tries to make her wear ring

"Stop it.... just now you got engaged to Tanu n ..."

He cuts in
"Fine ...I'm going back to her n ask for your ring which she is already wearing it"

"Let it be..."
He finally makes her wear it, She just went straight to her room n locked it
SK who was looking at all this from distance came running towards pragya

"Prags please open door... I want to talk"

"Just a minute"

"Why are you here.... if you ..."

She cuts in
"Shut up SK, I came to my room to change cloths, why everyone have problems here"
She marched towards kids room

Just then Abhi  too came

"Pragya... take this ice packs... you will feel better"

"Hey newly engaged man be with your Fiance, I'm here to take care of her"

"SK please... not now... don't annoy me... I'm already in bad mood... don't worsen it"
He saw that Pragya have removed his ring

"Ohh because ring didn't fit right?"

"Yes ...now can you please excuse us"

"Fine I'm leaving bye"

"Pragya how can this be your friend... he is so ill mannered"

"I know what is happening here, you purposely teasing me so that I get jealous n say I love you
N if you think ...I tell anything like this then you are absolutely wrong, I'm happy for you Mr Mehra"
She gives ring back, n this time he keeps it

"... actually ....I came here to tell ...kids are so happy, I think you are right, eventually everything will fall into places"
In reality ..He was excited... as when went to Tanu to tell her truth, she confessed n told she is faking it as kids involved her in plan n she is so ready to help him

"All the best for your future"
She was almost about to burst in tears

"I was thinking, on 27th is when we should get married,"
Just like Tanu, he too started doing bragging n went on n on

"Why not 31??"
She tries to buy more time

"Actually I calculated, if we get married on 31 then it take one day to windup n next day travel n arrangements for rooms n all it will be mess with kids school starting
So I decided 27 marriage, 28 windup, 29 back home, 30 arrangements for room n kids homework n we can enjoy 31, relax on 1st n school starts on 2nd"
He just got carried away with whole planning, as he is so excited everything is falling into places. Pragya is not at all liking this... she is jealous, sad, heartbroken.....which he could see totally on her face

"Wow ....you manage it well but what with room arrangements??"
She gets curious

"Your room?"

"I'm staying at my house after we go back"
She snapped at him

"you are staying with me as long as you are single, I can't take chances. You know I have trust issues"

"We can't stay under same roof, it will be so awkward ...better I stay here with my parents then coming to Mumbai... or get..marr"
Before she says get married to someone he cuts in

"You can't left my kids like this,"
He tries to play emotional card

"Tanu is there to take care of them"
A drop of tears fall n she wipes it before he could see it

"You only yesterday told me...how workaholic Tanu is?, she won't have time for kids, me or anyone,"

"I know but...Everything will change, responsibility changes after marriage, I will talk her through now please it's too late"
She tries to go from kids room to backyard, but he holds s her back

"That's what I'm telling you, are you sure.... before it's too late"
He squeezed her shoulders n looked straight into her eyes

She cuts in
"Please"
She pushed him, again started marching towards backyard

"Fine ...but Promise me whatever happens you will not marry that monkey king"
He too follows her

"Are you out of your mind, why would I marry him, if I was at all interested in second marriage, I would have accepted your proposal but this is not I want in life"
She was shocked n surprised by his words

"What you want in life then???"
He catches her while she staggered

"A Friend.... and I already looking at him"
She straight looked him in eyes

"Just friends"
He feels dejected

"Yes... just friends"
She starts walking again

"Fine..,,, as friends... I want one last favour from you"
He again gets hold of her,

"What???"
She tries to push him, but this time his grip is too hard

"Please...kiss me... one last time"
He takes her in his arms

"You are insane...."
She tries even harder to push him

"You can't love me, you can't marry me.... you have problems for just one kiss also.... am I that......"
He very softly let her go, she takes two steps.... n then turns to him And just crushed her lips on him and shut him up.....soon it turned in deep smooch, he too reciprocated after moment both parted away to breathe

...."good night  Mr Mehra"
She whispered n  went again straight to kids room without looking back at him

He was still standing there speechless

Next day

She successfully avoided Abhi n everyone else for whole day.... as she went very early in morning to SK house ....alone....while he was here at her place decorating for Abhi and Tanu's wedding, which was next day
She didn't inform anyone about this except her dad, she told she needs break from all this for sometime n she will be back by night but she came next day morning, on wedding day
Her dad completely understand her, and strictly warned Abhi to keep distance from his daughter for time being
He too agreed as he was confident that she will melt n confess her love for him if not today than definitely tomorrow .... specially after that blissful kiss....so he kept clam
Reality was...She wanted brake from all things because she had dream 2 nights back ( before dinner time)

Flashback

"Pragya can you come with me, I need to show you something"
Mr Mehra requested when I was busy with decorations

"Sure"

As soon as we enter his room, he bombarded with questions

"What is wrong with you??? Are you having nervous breakdown?? Are you just doing this to annoy me??"

"What??? Why would I??"

"This monkey king.... it getting on my nerves, how you feel if I talk to Tanu or someone else in front of you"

"Why it would affect me, n what are you talking about?"

He now loses his temper completely n pinned me against wall, he comes closer... I can hear his heart beat n he blows air softly into my ear

"Now"

"No... Mr Mehra"

"And Now"
He is so close to me, no air could pass, I can feel his hot breath reaching near my neck n then slowly he blows air near my lips, I almost bites my lower lip to control myself , realising I pushed him

"All my emotions died long back, nothing affects me now"

"How can be you so stone hearted"

"It's just I don't love you, stop it"

"Only on one condition"

"What?"

"You prove to me ... you don't love me"

"What is there to prove??? When I already said you countless times I don't love you,"

"Fine.... but I love you and only you then also I will say to kids ....Tanu is the one whom I'm in love with"

"Good for you both, you too will eventually love her"

"That's never going to happen"

"Then why you want to spoil her life"

"You don't have that right on me, when you yourself spoiled my life"
He walks out

I got panicked, there was sweat forming on my forehead n I called out Mr Mehra
But there was no response n I opened my eyes....
"this was very weird dream, or was it real..... ??, why Mr Mehra get annoyed with SK??, he is just decorating our house for Christmas, I have been thinking too much, n that closeness... was he trying to seduce me.... I must confess if this was real, I might have ended kissing him, who knows if I get back to sleep, we may end up kissing in dream, what am I thinking... I think I just carried away, I don't love him to kiss me.... god why can't I get out this thought"
End of flashback

She was not able to get out this thought what if kiss happened n then yesterday she kissed him for real n now all these was making her nervous ....that everything will change, most importantly she was afraid to face him

Here Abhi was getting restless.... he was thinking she is taking to long to come back she didn't came at night also, from today morning he had already called her few times.... but she ignored his calls...finally he walks towards main gate and waited for her
Moment she entered, he grabs her by hand and takes her to backyard

"What are you doing Abhi... it's hurting"

"You just called me with my nickname"

"Yes.... I'm not going to continue...."

He cuts in
"You can't do this to kids.... they need you...don't break their heart....please... you continue..."

"In that case..... Mr Mehra... I'm ok with weekdays but on weekends please don't force me to come... kids needs to bond with Tanu"

"Why are you giving me tips.... I already know how to handle this..."

"Yes.... that I know how you are handling ... anyway... excuse me...I have to go"

"I'm asking to you for last time..... after this no looking back..... are you sure .... I should marry her... do you think she will be good with kids???"

"Of course..... and even if she is not able to manage... I'm there..... you go ahead with wedding"

"I have one last request."

"Please ....I think I will rest for sometime, I'm really tried"

"You don't look tired, I know you are faking it, because you don't want to discuss about that night"

"What you want to discuss ??, I kissed you to shut your nonsense, you were drunk n it was late night and I didn't wanted to create scene so I kissed you, it was 1am... n you were not ready to leave"

"I'm very much aware I was not drunk ..... you never asked me to leave.... in fact you left after that deep blissful kiss... you not even turned back.... n from that moment you are invisible..... no one knows where are you??...."

She cuts in
"What you want from me???.... today is your marriage.. with Tanu.... n you are discussing last kiss... you asked for..... I had enough of this.... I'm leaving right now....."

"Again???....but you just came....Where are you going???"

"I'm going to spa ...... I want to relax for sometime but you won't let me relax even for second.... bye"

"Wait I will drop you"

"No thanks...... I'm going with king, spa is near his office only...."
she walks towards king

"Please just listen to my request"

"What??"

"Could you sit beside me.... during marriage ceremony"

"I'm sorry.... Mr Mehra.... I can't attend your marriage ceremony"

"Why??"

"Because "

"Because "

"Actually..."

"Yes... actually"

"Don't repeat my words.... it's really annoying...I mean to say... I..... am..... in...."

He cuts in

"Because You are in love with me"

"You are impossible... I was about to say I am in still in my menses, periods"

"I know You are bluffing... you just said you were going to spa"

"Fine... I lied... I'm  going to cafe with king..."

"You really like him??"

"We are just friends... he wanted me to meet his girlfriend... she is nice girl"

"So all girls are nice .... SK girlfriend is nice.... Tanu is nice....only you are one stubborn and heartless girl I ever met.... I'm going to get ready for marriage"
He gets hell annoyed, stamping his feet he goes from there

Wedding is going to happen in evening, but everything already looked ready, king had not kept even single stone unturned, everything was picture perfect, with lots of white drapes, mandap was decorated with lilies and orchids flowers
And With white and orange sitting arrangements

Abhi was shocked to see everything perfectly setup already, he looked for her everywhere, but was not able to find her, "again she vanished" he mummers to himself
he asked everyone... just then Aarya comes with tears in her eyes

"Dad are you really going to marry Tanu aunty??"

"No, I'm not mad, I'm not going to give up on pragya , you just wait and watch"

"What are going to do, dad??"
Veer questioned

"For now I'm going To get ready"

Around 7pm, all had arrived, uncle n aunty had wore matching outfits, veer n Aarya's outfit too were matching,
Abhi was sitting restless in mandap, dressed in baby blue and silver sharwani, his veil was covered with beautiful mogra flowers,
He whispered
"Aunty marriage is about to start.. where is pragya??"

"She is in her room... she can't....."
Aunty whispered back

He cuts I
"She is bluffing... I'm sure she is not in her menses..."

"How you know that??"
She was surprised

"When she got operated..... she was staying with me.. just 2 week later from discharge.... she asked maid to bring sanitary pads... I very well remember.. it's been  almost 10 days now"
He made up fake story

"Really... you calculated.. all this... anyway... punditji you start with ceremony... I go n bring both Tanu and Pragya"

After sometime aunty returned only with Tanu, who was dressed in lovely pink and silver bridal chaniya choli, veil was dark deep red colour, her hands were full of bangles

"Where is pragya??"
He gets hyper

"She said she is not telling lies....n not coming.. but you don't worry... you start pheras.... moment when its last pheras... she will come.... or ..you go to her"
Aunty suggested

"I think I don't have choice but to wait for her, n if she doesn't come I swear I will marry Tanu"
He fumes in anger

"But ...."

"No ...if or but..... I'm getting married today .... I don't care if it's Pragya or Tanu.... I had already enough of this nonsense.... all I know is I'm getting my Mrs Mehra"
