Rohit scanned through his grandfather's computer. This was his last belonging that was left. They discarded all the other things when he died, but Rohit insisted on keeping the computer. He was always obsessed with the old technology.

Rohit looked in his files as he found some photos of the family gathering and of his grandparent's last vacation as well. He moved to another folder containing old songs. Rohit listened to the lyrics of the songs he had never heard before. Apart from this, there was nothing on his computer.

The computer had turned out to be boring than Rohit had expected. He needed something to refresh himself. Rohit opened the internet and watched as it slowly loaded. There was only one tab on the screen. Gmail. He opened it to check his emails, but to his surprise, his grandfather was still logged in. Guess he was never worried about someone else checking it out.

As if the surprise wasn't over yet, there were only three emails in the inbox. Both from some girl Shruti Nair.

Rohit opened the first one. It was a sort of love letter from the girl. Rohit was totally shocked. He was sure his grandmother's name or nickname wasn't Shruti. Then who was this girl? He glanced over at the date. It was only a year ago. Wow, he thought, grandpa was having an affair at 72.

He couldn't help but know more of this relationship. He clicked on the reply to see what his grandfather had said. This was completely different from what he was expecting. Rohit went to the first mail again and noticed that it was meant for some Aman. He couldn't control his laughter as he got the whole situation. This must have been so embarrassing.

He read the reply again and Rohit was proud of how maturely his grandfather had handled the situation. He looked at the second mail and was astonished to see Shruti describe everything in it. He was happy to see that she had finally found her mate, but was also puzzled at the same time. Why didn't Grandpa reply?

That's when he found one last mail left in drafts. It appeared as if his grandfather had typed the whole thing. Why didn't he send it then? Some tears flowed down his eyes as Rohit read it. He now understood why his grandfather hadn't sent it.

The subject of the mail was THE END.
