The abuse don't seem to end at all because Harish's favorite hobby is to insult and abuse Sam all the time. Meanwhile, her parents want to visit them because they were going on a long tour but Harish threatens Sam that he would kill them if she doesn't stop them from coming to their place.Scared that he might hurt them, she obliges . Life continues to be the same when one day Harish comes home with surprise guests -Karthik and Sushma. They come to their house to invite them for their wedding after which they were going to get settled in Canada. Sam becomes very happy for them. Harish puts up a good show to them and when leaves them , Karthik secretly tells Sam that Aayush too was going to get married and go to Germany ! After they leave, Sam goes up to her balcony to watch them leaving. She has mixed feelings about Aayush's marriage and she knows that she still loves him.

Sameera's POV

As if these problems weren't enough, then came the major shock of my life. One evening, while I was entering the house after I had watered the plants , I felt dizzy and fainted .

I woke up on the couch in the living room and saw Harish talking with someone. I got up to see what was going on and saw that he was talking to a Doctor.

Was something wrong with me that Harish had called a Doctor to diagnose me ? I was scared . After a few minutes, the Doctor left.

Harish came to me and said, "You are pregnant !".

I couldn't believe it. I felt happiness and sadness at the same time. A child inside me .My child ! I wanted to celebrate. But, it was Harish's child too. I wondered if my child would grow up to be like him. I wondered if he would even care for our baby.

I smiled at him and said, "I am so happy Harish ! Do you think it's a Boy or a Girl ?"

"Who do you think is the Father of the child ?", he asked softly.

My smile faded and I didn't understand why he asked such a question.

"You of course ! Why do you ask such a stupid question ?"

"YOU LIAR !", he shouted, "You slept with your boyfriend, didn't you ? What was his name...Aayush right ?"

I was thunderstruck ! I couldn't believe he said something like that.

"Aren't you ashamed , you scoundrel ! How could you accuse me like that ? Unlike you, I don't sleep with a lot of people !", I argued back, "You have no rights to speak of Aayush ! He is a gentleman, not a pervert like you !"

Harish's breathing grew heavier ! He became very angry and he raised his hand to hit me, when his Mother rushed forward and stopped him.

"HARISH ! Stop this madness right now !"

"Leave me alone ! I will rip her head away from her body ! Do you know what she spoke about me ?"

"I heard Harish dear. But if she gets hurt, your child will be hurt too. "

"I don't care about the stupid child !"

"It's yours Harish ! The child is your heir, who is going to inherit all your wealth ! You wanted her to be your wife right ? We just need to keep her alive till the child is born, doesn't matter if she dies after that !", she said and smirked at me.

He dropped his hand and shot me a cold look.

"You have escaped for now ! Also, do you know who hit Aayush in the accident ?"

"How do you know about Aayush's accident ?", I asked.

I realized the conversation was getting somewhere.

"It was me, you fool. I asked my worker to hit Aayush , but he didn't die !"

"WHY ? WHY DID YOU DO THAT ?", I shouted.

"You were with him . I couldn't bear the sight of you being with him ALL THE TIME !"

"You..you planned for this from the start , didn't you ?", I asked him with so much of hatred.

"He was always getting on with you. After the accident, his Father was on a search for me, so I fled away from here and returned just few months back ! But, I did get my hands on you, Sameera. He is the loser now .", he gave his usual evil grin.

I laughed , as loudly as possible. Harish was shocked at my action.

"What are you laughing for ,huh ? Tell me !"

"Aayush had no intention of loving me during the time the accident occured ! He was heartbroken by another girl. But, do you know a good thing that happened because of you ? I was able to get to know more about Aayush after the accident and that led to our relationship. Thank you Harish !", I gave a triumphant smile .

Harish's rage increased and he started to throw things around the house. I merely stood there looking at his wild actions.

"Sameera,one more word and I will do anything with your photos ! "

'"What are you talking about ?"

"I stole your cell phone !"

"What ? Why would you do that ?"

"Hmm..let's see. To threaten you ?"

"Haven't you threatened me enough ? Besides, if you do anything with my photos, your friends are going to know that it's your wife and they will insult only you ! I presume the dignity of your family is important to you ! So carry on with whatever you want to do with the photos !"

His mouth was hung open in shock and since he couldn't respond to it, he went outside angrily and his Mother threatened me that I would stop getting food if I didn't keep my mouth shut.

"Harish is madly in love with you ! He got angry when Aayush entered your life. ", she muttered.

"How did Harish know me before ?"

"I showed him. When you used to visit the temple every week !"

"If he loved me, he would have never hurt me ! You don't know what love is !"

"Don't question my son's feelings !"

I forgot that I was arguing with a mad woman and I didn't speak anything further. So, Harish knew me from the start but he never loved me, he only thought he did !

Days went by and I could feel my child inside me. I wanted a girl baby , but only God knew if it was a boy or girl. Harish never bothered to even ask about our child. I assumed he still thought it wasn't his child. His Mother still didn't provide me with proper food ! I had to eat healthy food in proper amount for my baby's development. But, this witch here wouldn't understand. The servant who normally sneaked me food got caught by her red handed and she was thrown out of the house. I felt very guilty because I was the reason the poor woman lost her job ! I promised myself that if ever I got out of this horrible house alive, I would take in that lady.

Due to the lack of sufficient food, I grew weaker day by day until one day , I threw up and fainted. The doctor had been called and he got angry when he diagnosed me.

"Do you have any idea that your child is undernourished Mr.Harish ?", he asked him, who was standing near me.

"Your wife is very weak and she hasn't been eating sufficiently .Hence your child is not properly developed ! If you want both of them to be safe, give them proper and nutritious food , along with these tablets !"

"I will see to it. Thank you Doctor !".

After he left,

"Why can't you eat properly ?", he asked.

"If only your mother gives me food, I can eat !", I spat back.

"Happy now , Harish ? Your child is underdeveloped !", tears rolled from my eyes when I said that.

"MOTHER !", he shouted .

"What is it son ?", she came rushing into the room.

"Why haven't you been giving her food ? Are you mad ?"

"I....I...", she stammered.

"I want her to be properly fed and taken care of ! It's my child and I won't let anything happen to it !", he said and left.

I was left speechless. Since when did he start caring about my baby ?, I thought. As days went by he started growing fond of it. From that day, he began to ask his Mother if I had eaten properly and if I had been taking my tablets . I became confused as to what kind of a human being he was, if he was one at all !

I thought he was becoming good, but I was totally wrong ! He came home drunk one day and when I asked if he had had dinner, he slapped me hard and I was about to fall down, but I held onto the table and prevented myself from falling. To save my baby, I tried to run and lock myself in a room, but he grabbed my hair from behind and pulled .I screamed in pain and Harish's mother tried to free me from his grip.

"Harish ..stop it ! Stop it now !"

It then took another two servants to free me from him !

"All of you, Die !", he shouted and fell on the couch.

He was definitely a psycho ! My husband was a psycho ! I knew that if I stayed there , I would become like him too ! But, there was no escape from that place.

Still, Harish's abuse continued and he started drinking more often than before, even during daytime !

Months passed and my baby was growing bigger ! I was in the second trimester and I had proper food ! But, I vomited almost every day ! I became sick often and I couldn't clean up the mess I made !

Harish's Mother would scream at me for throwing up ! It wasn't my fault . Pregnancy gave me nausea ! She appointed a housemaid specially for cleaning and I would apologize to her whenever I threw up !

One day, the maid couldn't take it any longer and complained to his Mother that she wanted to quit the job ! This made her mad and she scolded me for half a day ! A woman couldn't be madder than her ! She complained about irrelevant incidents that should have never happened such as Harish's birth ! Even I would have been glad if that had not happened !

That evening, when Harish came home, she started !

"Your wife here is turning our home into a hospital !", she said loudly for me to here.

I was upstairs , listening to her complaints from the living room.

"Our house stinks because she keeps on vomiting every second !"

I was secretly glad because she was mad !

I could hear Harish's voice but couldn't hear what he spoke. After a few minutes, I heard footsteps approaching !

I started sweating and my heart beat fast thinking Harish might beat me up again. The door opened and he stood in the doorway.

Instead of beating , he said something that surprised me to the extreme !

"We're leaving ! Come !", he ordered.

I was totally taken aback by surprise because it was Harish who had said those words.

"Where ?"

"To your parents !", he said as he left the room to go downstairs

I followed him.

"Really ?", I asked happily.

"Don't make me change my decision by keeping on talking ."

"Okay. Sorry !"

"What if this useless girl tells her parents about everything that happened here ?", Harish's Mother asked him.

"I'll ask my men to keep a watch on their house . Simple ! One word outside and her parents will be the first to die !", he smirked at me.

"I swear I won't tell anyone. Please let's just go !", I pleaded.

He nodded , took the vehicle keys and went outside. I went after him, but the situation outside changed my mind. The evening sky was filled with grey clouds and night had almost fallen. Strong wind blew and she could hear thunder in the distance. It looked like there would be a heavy downpour along with a storm.

I felt mild pain in my stomach and I hoped that my baby and I would reach my parents house safely.
