Sameera comes to know that Aayush had had a break up with Riya and she tries to convince her to be with Aayush but ends up getting hit by Riya. Her friends get angry at Riya and Karthik calls up Aayush to tell him about the incident and threatens him to make Riya apologise to Sam.

Sameera's POV

"I leave her with you for some time and she comes here getting hit by some stupid spoilt girl! I have a bunch of idiots as my friends!", Radha said furiously.

The only thing missing was smoke coming out from her ears. Radha was extremely angry with the lot.

"It was entirely my fault.These guys didn't do anything wrong.", I replied.

"Do you have any idea what might happen to you? Are you being serious at all? You are just struck in love with this guy whom you just met and you are willing to do anything for him, let alone getting slaps and beatings"

I couldn't answer her. I felt Radha would not understand my feelings, so I thought it was better to keep my mouth shut.

"Well, where were you, all this time?",asked Shabir.

"I was with Prathik,helping him out with his project,and this is of no significance here."

"Thought so!", he smirked.

"Look...that is none of your...."

"Guys ..guys....would you shut it? What are you arguing for? What has happened cannot be changed. We need to think what to do next, not fight amongst ourselves for some petty issues.",said Vaibhav.

Everyone fell silent.

"You shouldn't have told Aayush about it. He is already hurt and she might hurt him more."

"Somehow he is gonna know about it. And I care about my friend.",Karthik said ,irritated.

"We'll talk about this later!", Shabir said, as students started coming into the classroom.

We had come early to the class, to discuss about what to do next.

Meanwhile, Karthik returned to his class.

The professor came and started her usual ramble.

Radha and I groaned and pretended to listen to her.

Half an hour passed by and almost the entire class was asleep by then.

I sat with my hands supporting my face and my eyelids drooping when,

"Excuse me, Mam?", a familiar voice sounded.

I opened my eyes to see Aayush, standing near the door.

I was shocked and my heart started beating fast.

Oh my god. He has come to scold me. What am I gonna do?

"Yes?", our Mam turned towards him.

"The sports head wants to meet Miss Sameera, mam."

My heart almost leapt out of my body. You are dead Sameera.

This is it. I am finished. He is going to blast me and hate me for what I did.

"Sameera. You may go.", she ordered.

Radha nodded to me and mouthed, "Everything is gonna be fine."

I shakily got up from my seat and went towards him.

I was breathing heavily and drops of sweat trickled down my forehead.

"Thank you mam", he said and went outside.

His face was very grave, without any kind of emotion.

Was it anger or sadness, I couldn't tell. I couldn't even look at him in the face and my eyes were towards the ground.

"Come", he said.

I followed him.

He kept walking at a fast pace and I didn't dare ask him where we were going . I wanted to avoid any kind of talk with him.

He kept on walking for a long time. I mustered up courage to ask him where we were going.

"Don't talk.", he said.

Should have kept quiet, I thought.

We walked until we reached the far end of the buildings. There were only trees here and it was highly isolated, except for her.

The one who slapped me!

"Ah! Look who we have here.", she grinned.

"Does it hurt, girl?"

"Your dispute is with me, not with her!", Aayush replied.

"What a cute couple you two make. I could stand here the entire day looking at you."

"How dare you raise your hand on her?"

I felt as if someone had dropped ice cold water on me.

What was happening? I thought Aayush was going to scold me.

"Did I hurt your little princess?", Riya asked, pretending to have a sorrowful expression on her face.

"Answer my question!"

Aayush ' s face was red now, with anger. He was fuming.

Riya looked at him in terror. I bet she had never seen him like that.

"She irritated me,and she wanted us to patch up . So I slapped her. As simple as that."

"Aren't you ashamed to hit a small girl?"

Whoa. Small girl?. I am 18 years old, I thought .

"Duh! You cheater! You had all this planned, didn't you?"

"What are you talking about?"

Riya was going to tell him the same things he told me the other day.

"Don't", I warned her.

Just as I feared, Riya accused Aayush and me, having planned to woo her because of her wealth and how I tried to create sympathy to make them get together blah blah blah.........

Aayush listened to everything she said and said, " If you had truly loved me, your dirty mind wouldn't have thought stuff like this. You think I want your money. All I wanted was you, only you and not your bloody money. Money is not everything. It won't buy you love or affection, you fool!"

" You have no right to call me a fool!", she screamed at him.

"Also you raised your hand on this innocent girl. She only tried to help me out and there is nothing wrong in that! Apologise to her now."

"What? You want ME to fall at HER feet?", she shrieked.

"A sorry would suffice."

"No. I won't."

"That's not nece......", I started to say, but he cut me off.

"Do it NOW", Aayush glared at her.

He was very serious about it.

"Sorry", she said , with full of hatred.

It was awkward and I could only say, "It's okay."

"See? She has forgiven you for the dirty thing you did to her. A true woman forgives and forgets and is humble. You better stay away from her."

I gaped at him and couldn't believe what he said.

Riya scoffed and said, " Go to hell!".

Aayush gave her a look and she sped off, leaving us behind.

"Am sorry for all trouble", he turned towards me.

" No.I am sorry. I shouldn't have interfered.", I said, looking down.

" That was a very brave thing you did. Speaking up for what is right. I have always admired your bravery." He looked into my eyes when he said it, making me fall in love with him madly, the very instant.

I decided at this moment, that he is the one I am going to marry!

I couldn't speak and I just stared at him.

" Sam?" Are you okay?"

I tore my eyes away from his eyes and nodded at him.

He gave a smile, a smile which melted my heart.

" If there was anyone else in your place, they would have created a ruckus and made a fuss about it. But , you were not like that. I can't thank you enough, for all what you have done for me."

I blushed and replied,"Anytime".

"You could have hit her, for all what she accused you of ! But you didn't! You are a good boy!"

"A man, stops being a man, the moment he raises his hand on a woman. Women shouldn't be hit ,by anyone!"

I nodded.

"Also, I heard that you have done a wonderful job in the eco club! All the seniors want you as a permanent member of the club."

"Do you?"

"Am sorry?"

"Would you like to have me as a permanent member too?"

"Of course! You have the capacity to do all the work single handedly. I am planning to give you a post too."

Just what I need !

"Thank you, Aayush! That is so kind of you."

Later

"You guys should have seen his face! He was furious! And he also was patient with her. Any other man would have killed her , for all the bad things she spoke about us."

"Yeah Yeah .This is the 100th time we are listening to this!", Shabir said, yawning.

"He is the greatest man I have ever seen in my life."

"You are madly in love with him!"

"Am I ?", I winked.

"And to think that you tried to join him with Riya again!"

"I wanted him to be happy, okay ?"

"So now you are gonna fill her place?"

"I don't know! Let the man breathe. He just had a heart break. "

" You are going to be the medicine for his broken heart! "

"What?"

"He is the most vulnerable now.He needs love Sameera. The poor thing. Only you can give him all the love he deserves . I am sure you will make him forget all his worries.", Vaibhav said.

"Yeah...but ....won't I look too desperate? Besides, I don't think I'll propose my love to him right now."

"Take some time. Let days pass by. He will return to the normal state in some time."

"No. You should tell your feelings to him soon. Or someone else is going to grab the opportunity !", Shabir cut in.

"Someone else ?", I was shocked.

"Yes. He is one of the most popular guys of our college! Don't miss him!"

I was entirely confused !

Aayush ' s POV

I was very much angry on Riya for slapping that innocent girl. She only tried to get us back together and ended up getting slaps, for me. Such a sweet and caring personality!

When I said to Sam that she was very brave, I looked into her eyes and felt something!

A spark !

I don't know what it was but it made me highly uncomfortable.

No way I am falling in love again. I can't bear my heart getting broken again. It doesn't mean Sameera would do something like that to a guy, but I am afraid to fall in love again.

Besides the hard fact that Riya has hurt me enough , I still can't forget her........
