Aurora Ashina is the daughter of the original legendary witch Cure Miracle also known by her real identity as Ashina Mirai

Mirai has told Aurora about her travels with her friends Riko, Ha-Chan and her plush Mofurun as the PreCure group known as the Mahou Tsukai PreCure

Aurora loved her mother's stories of her adventures as a PreCure with her friends and grew up believing in magic to today where Mirai had given Aurora her old plush Mofurun to take care of in her place

But when Aurora meets Luna Izayoi the daughter of her mother's friend Riko as she's on the task for the Linkle Stones her mother and Riko had been tasked to find years ago
But when the two turn into the legendary witches and PreCure Cure Miracle and Cure Magical as not only Mofurun is alive again but the Linkle Stones has evolved of containing spirits attached to them as the Dia Linkle Stone had both Mata Nui the Great Spirit and his brother Ekimu the Mask Maker

The five are set to balance lives of Magic School where Riko is the current headmaster of, the Non-Magic school Aurora is near graduating from, their quests to find the missing Linkle Stones connected to a Toa and Glatorian, being PreCure and find the missing Toa and Glatorian who are sealed away until the right person finds the Linkle Stones
