Things are about to get real. Mahal has started to bring the dwarves back into the world of men. Starting with Dis, Vili and Frerin. Also after many centuries Kili and Tauriel will finally be reunited.

Brandy had made her way into the end shortly after parting ways with Thorin. The Tavern would open soon and Tauriel would need more help soon since Brandy let her own talents run wild in the brewery section of the inn. Tauriel looked up at her and smiled "I knew he was up to no good." she said

"Alfred will have time to think about what he did while he is in jail." Brandy replied, "Though I have to go pick up the bike tomorrow at the impound lot." 

Tauriel nodded "I also have one of the master rooms set up for you Legolas had already gotten some of your things when he went by to pick you up only to find you not there." Tauriel said

"Oops, I got a ride from someone." Brandy replied

"Does this 'someone' have a name?" Tauriel asked

"Thorin," she began only to see Tauriel go pale a bit, "Thorin Rider, I met him a few days back and he was a complete bag of dicks." 

Tauriel laughed and shook her head "Don't let Legolas hear you say that." Tauriel said, "Go upstairs and get cleaned up." 

"You got it, boss, now which room am I sleeping in?" she asked

"Room 107," Tauriel said tossing her the keys.

Brandy made her way upstairs and to room 107 which was one of 2 presidential suites in the inn. Brandy made her way to her things and got out her outfit for the night and headed into the bathroom to shower. She stripped down and stepped into the shower and turned it on. She let the hot water cascade down her body as she began to relax. Her muscles still remembering the feel of Thorin's body as she wrapped her arms around him. It felt natural. In many ways. Ways she wasn't willing to explore at the moment. When she was finished she grabbed the fresh towel and dried off before getting dressed. She wore her hair in a tight high braided bun and kept in place with chopsticks. She then began to dress in her bar attair.

Brandy made her way downstairs shortly after. The tavern would open in under an hour now and Tauriel had hired three new workers. A new waitress and two bouncers. Brandy reached the bottom of the stairs "So the Elves shall return soon, that would mean Legolas will have to return the thrown to his father." said Tauriel

"Does she know?" asked a voice

"I have a feeling she is listening in on our conversation Lady Dis," said Tauriel.

She stepped from around the corner "Am I getting fired?" she asked

"No, Valar's sake no. Brandy I would never fire you." said Tauriel.

Brandy nodded and looked at the three strangers "Hello." she said

"Greetings." said the three bowing their heads to her.

Tauriel informed her that the three would be working with her "Alright, well I guess Dis you and I shall go over the drinks we serve here, and you two will be rotating around the room." she said

"Of course." said Dis

"I will set up the cash box." said Tauriel.

Once she and Dis were alone she showed her the brewery "Tauriel, had these here for years and has used them to the fullest. This is where you will find me during the day. Brewing ale, mead, and wine. Which there are some stills for moonshine. Which has kept this place afloat, hopefully with the ales that I have made Dragon Slayer Tavern and Inn will be on the map again." she said

"What ales do you brew?" asked Dis

"Well, there is apple, cherry, strawberry, blueberry, and blackberry ale. Along with the original ale brewed here," she replied

"Blackberry? Well, I know Thorin will be in here every night," said Dis

"Thorin Rider, you know him?" she asked.

Dis laughed "Thorin Rider? Is that what he told you?" asked Dis

"Yes why?" she asked

"His real name dear, is Thorin Oakenshield," said Dis.

Her heart skipped a beat "Thorin Oakenshield, as in the legend? Impossible, he's been dead for thousands of years or so legend says." she said

"Mahal, says its time for his children to return to the world of men. So myself, my brothers Frerin and Thorin and my husband Vili and my two sons whom I am sure you will meet Fili and Kili. Are the first to return others will follow in the weeks to come." said Dis.

Was Thorin Rider really  Thorin Oakenshield? She felt her heart shatter. She used his name as a call sign and brought dishonor to it. Did he hate her for it? She felt a hand on her shoulder "Lass, you brought honor to his name and to the Baggins name when you and your squadron didn't fire on those unarmed civilians convoy. Never think otherwise." said Dis.

She looked at the princess of old "Thank you Dis. I admit I am afraid to face him knowing who he is." she said

"I can believe that, but he talks about you. He told me what you said to him upon your first meeting," said Dis.

She laughed at that "Yeah well he did give me a royal invitation to his bed the day I got evicted from my apartment." she replied smiling at the memory.

Dis laughed at that "Judging by the name he gave you he was hinting at it as well Rider. Ride her." Dis replied with a smirk.

Ah, Valar?! Was he really implying that?

Thorin, Fili, and Kili headed for the tavern no evil left in the area when they went out. It was midnight and they were looking forward to having ale.

Thorin smiled as he saw Vili at the door "Try not to go all Vengeance Of Mahal in there you three." said Vili

"Why would we? As long as someone doesn't do something..." Thorin stopped mid-sentence as a man came flying out the open doorway

"That is all for you tonight Marty now go the fuck home before a crack you over the head again with this oaken branch shield." yelled a voice.

Vili laughed "Fierce as a dragon she is. Brandy is nothing like her Hobbit or Elf kin." said Vili

"You can say that," he replied smirking a brow arched high in amusement.

Brandy stood in the doorway, and sweet Mahal have mercy! He could hear the maker of the dwarves laughing at him as his eyes followed every curve of her body that was hugged by the outfit that she wore. His eyes landed what was strapped to her forearm. It was his shield! How on Adra did she find it? Her eyes landed on him "Dis said you would stop by. Come on in, though we are a little crowded." she said and turned.

Mahal have fucking mercy, even the roundness of her backside showed! Vili was laughing "Well don't keep the lady waiting." said Vili.

Brandy lead the three to a table "What would you three like?" she asked

"Ale." came the reply

"Alright, but it will be my ale. See you three in a bit," she said walking away with.

Brandy went to the tap and got two apple and one blackberry ale. Once the mugs were almost overflowing she placed them on a tray and walked back to Thorin. The two with them had to be Dis's sons. The blonde looked like Vili except with his mother's eyes, the dark haired one looked like Frerin with brown eyes and no beard just stubble. Which was adorable. The three looked world-weary and had a fire within that kept them going. She placed each ale in front of them "My special brew. Hints why the place is busier than usual." she said.

She watched as the three took a sip of their ale. Dis's boy's eyes lit up "Tastes like Apples." said the dark haired one

"Thanks," she said

"Blackberry," said Thorin.

He looked at her and smirked "You're a woman of many talents Ms. Baggins." he said.

Dis came walking over "I see you have met my sons. Fili and Kili." said Dis indicating who was which son.

The two nodded their heads as a fight broken out. She sighed and tightened the strap of the oaken branch shield "Excuse me I have some heads to knock in." she said.

Vili and Frerin had joined her side as she rushed in to break it up only to get an elbow to the gut.

As the night winded down and the customers left one by one Thorin watched Brandy closely. She was favoring her left side from the elbow she received a few hours earlier.

She walked over to them two mugs of ale in each hand two apple two blackberries. She sat them down giving the two apples to Fili and Kili as she gave him one of the two blackberry ales. She unhooked the leather straps and removed the oaken branch shield from her forearm and laid it before him "This belongs to you." she said.

It was his shield alright though he never remembered it being that heavy "Its petrified now. Meaning its as hard as steel. I found it when I was six. Well my toe found it." she said smiling fondly of the memory

"You have taken care of it all this time. Anyone else would have sold it," he said

"I am a Baggins. My family history is connected to you. I would bring shame to those before me if I sold it." she began "Besides, I have had hellacious offers for it. But I could never get rid of it. The only way I would was to take it to Erebor and lay it across your tomb."

She was a Baggins alright. Always putting things back in their proper place. Just then he saw Kili go rigged.

He looked at what his youngest nephew was to see the red-haired she-elf Tauriel. Her eyes locked with Kili's and his dark-haired nephew was on his feet and making his way over to her.

Brandy smiled "Rumors are true then." she said

"Let's give them some time alone," said Dis ushering them all upstairs.

Maybe just maybe Kili could be happy again.....
