Well, so many things happened. I want to give a recap of the story till now. First of all, Shantanu married Goddess Ganga and had a son named Bhishma (Devratta) and then Satyavati and had sons Chitrangada and Vichitraveer. Chitrangada died and Vichitraveer married Ambalika and Ambika before dying too. Ambalika gave birth to Dhirtarashtra, a blind son and Ambika gave birth to Pandu while a maid gave birth to Vidur.
