Goodbye, SaberTooth

After my Guild Mates had stopped arguing long enough to actually figure out where we were going, we headed out. Sting and I were both supporting Natsu's weight. I still didn't now how I felt about our SaberTooth friends but at least I didn't have an urge to kill them. So I suppose that meant that they were okay in my book.

Another three hours of walking and yelling at one another passed by and we finally arrived at the village. Natsu still hadn't woken up but at least Levy had. She still looked a little weak but at least she was walking.

I sat down heavily on a bench to wait for the train to arrive. Sting sat Natsu on the bench as well and he also took a seat. Rouge was leaning against a wall talking to Fro. Lector hopped up on the bench with us and quickly fell asleep next to Sting.

Cute, I thought sleepily. Before long the train arrived and we all piled in. Just as we took our seats Natsu began to stir slightly.

"Oh no!" I said as he slowly blinked open his eyes.

"He just had to wake up at this moment." Gray said, irritated.

"He has the worst timing, I swear." Lucy said.

"Aye..." Happy put in.

"Want me to punch em?" Gajeel supplied a bit too happily as he raised his fist.

"I can help, too!" Erza said with a smile as, she too, raised her fist.

Sting laughed as Lector shook his head. Rogue just watched us as Fro curled up in the Shadow Dragon Slayer's lap. "Poor, Natsu-San." Sting laughed out as Lector nodded in agreement.

"Umm, maybe we can be more gently." Wendy said softly as Levy nodded while sweat dropping.

I watched as he opened his eyes to half mast, saw me, sighed, and relaxed his body again. He put his head on my shoulder and leaned into me. I couldn't help the small smile that came to my lips. Once everyone exhaled in relief that he wasn't waking up they started to talk to each other.

I let out a breath as my eyelids started to become heavy. I leaned my head closer to Natsu's and stopped when our heads touched. I yawned and after a moment I fell asleep.

I was awakened to the sound of the train's squealing brakes. I opened my eyes and looked around me. Most of my friends were asleep, the only person who wasn't was Erza, she was looking out the window, so she didn't notice me.

I blinked to clear my eyesight and looked over to where Levy sat. A smile instantly came to my lips. Unknowingly, Levy was leaning up against Gajeel's side, and she was fast asleep. Gajeel had his arms crossed with his head tilted back against the train's seat. He was also fast asleep. Pantherlily, who was snuggled up in Levy's arms, also had his eyes closed.

I chuckled softly at the three of them. If I could, I would take a picture, and most likely show it to everyone at the Guild. Especially to the three of them.

I sighed tiredly and tried to stretch but something stopped me.
I looked over and I could feel my cheeks turning a light shade of red.

Natsu face was turned toward mine and somehow I had wrapped my arms around him. I quickly removed my hands just as Erza announced to everyone that we had arrived. Everyone groaned and got up from their seats slowly. I turned back to Natsu and poked him on the cheek.

"Natsu, wake up, we're home." He didn't wake up. "Try this." Happy said from his place beside Natsu. He tilted his head up and yelled, "Fish!" I looked at Happy and shook my head, "No, Happy, just no."

"That works for me." He said with a shrug. I rolled my eyes as everyone got off the train. "Hurry up, Fey-chan!" Levy said with a wave as she hopped off the train with Gajeel and Pantherlily right behind her. "This is harder than it looks." I muttered as I shook him.

"Just whack em upside the head." Gajeel offered with a smirk as he jumped off the train. "It ain't like he don't deserve it." I heard him say.

"Oh! I got it!" Happy yelled as he leaned in closer to Natsu's ear. "Look, Nat-zu! Free food!"

Natsu jerked and whipped his head around, "Where!?!"
He swept his head toward me and when he did, we were so close to each other, that our lips brushed together. My eyes widened as electricity shot across my lips and throughout my body. I jerked back as my face turned into a tomato. Natsu blinked and awkwardly rubbed the back of his head.

Before either of us could say anything, Happy leaped into the air between us. "Freya and Nat-zu kissed!" I sucked in a sharp breath as I made a grab for him. "H-Happy!" Natsu stuttered out as he too tried to grab his Exceed.

Happy giggled and flew out of the train with Natsu and I right on his tail. I jumped up in the air to grab him as he started to sing about our 'love'. "Happy! You can't fly forever!" I screamed at him. His response was to just laugh again.

This was bad...

I reached up and softly touched my lips. But what happened on the train...that hadn't been so bad...
"You look creepy when you have that look on your face, Freya." Happy said with a shudder as he looked down at me.

"I'm gonna do such illegal things to you cat." I muttered darkly.

"Nat-zu! Save me!"

"Save yourself!"

"You two are so mean!"

Natsu and I looked at each other, and laughed evilly.

I stood beside Natsu and waved goodbye to our SaberTooth friends.

"Bye!" Lucy and Wendy said as they both waved goodbye. Gray along with Gajeel just nodded their heads at them. Levy was waving wildly as was Happy. Carla and Pantherlily were smiling a little at them.

"Oi, Sting, when you come back," Natsu smirked, "Let's fight again, okay?" Sting leaned back and looked over his shoulder at Natsu. "Your on, Natsu-San."

I waved my hand in the air and flicked my wrist. "Bye, Sting, Rogue. You too Lector and Fro." Fro smiled and put up a paw, "Bye Nice Lady!" Lector waved at me and Rogue tilted his head in goodbye. Sting put two fingers to his head and flicked his wrist with a smirk on his face in goodbye.

"Nice working with ya, SaberTooth." I said with a smile.

I flopped down on my bed and stretched out. After another short train ride we had finally gotten back home. During the whole ride Happy kept smiling while staring at Natsu and I.

Was it bad that I just wanted to open up the train's window and chuck him out of it? I mean...it wasn't like he would die or anything. The cat had wings. He could have made it.

I was just glad that Happy hadn't started to sing again. Even now, my lips still tingled from just a brush of his lips on mine. It wasn't even a real kiss...and yet...it had felt so real.

Natsu hadn't said anything about it. However, whenever he looked my way, his cheeks would start to turn a light shade of pink. I thought it was adorable.

It was less adorable when my cheeks decided to join in on the fun.

Levy had noticed our odd behavior and had shot questioning looks my way all night on the train. I had avoided her looks as long as I possible could, but when we had gotten off the train, I hadn't been fast enough to escape.

Levy had caught my arm and had demanded what was going on between Natsu and I. I had put my hands up and had shook my head at her. "Levy, nothing's going on!" I tried to reassure her.

She had narrowed her eyes at me, "My BS detecter is beeping." She sang.

"Freya and Nat-zu kissing-" Happy began singing as he flew above Levy and I. I shot him such a deadly look that he nearly dropped out of the sky. Levy clapped her hands together and started squealing.

I face palmed, "No...Levy, no." I whined as she continued her weird little dance. "You fell asleep and you decided on making Gajeel your on personal pillow." I stated with a wink. Levy stopped dead with her insane jumping and squealing.

"W-what?" She stuttered as she stared at me with horror in her eyes. I smiled and waved at her as I began walking away. "Just thought you should know!" I said over my shoulder at her. "F-Fey-chan! Get back here! We still have to talk about things!" Levy said as she stomped her foot.

"By the way, Levs!" I called to her without looking back. "You two make great snuggle buddies." I swear I heard her give a little squeak of shock and embarrassment. I put a hand to my mouth to stop my loud laugh from escaping.

I walked home that night half dead on my feet. I stumbled into my apartment after my fourth or fifth try trying to unlock the stupid door. I dropped my keys who knows where and fell into my beautiful bed. I buried myself under the covers, grabbed my pillow, and put it over my face. I smiled from underneath my pillow as I recalled tonight's advents. My lips were still tingling. His lips had been so soft...and I...I had enjoyed the brief kiss that we had shared. I groaned and smashed the pillow over my face. With a soft sigh I closed my eyes and I was asleep before I took my next breath...

It was strange.

While I was sleeping I was woken up half way by a soft tugging sensation. I quickly went back to sleep though. The only thing I remembered before I fell back asleep was the sound of flapping wings...

Huh, I wonder what that was all about...heheh. What do you all think?
