"Listen, May. That man, is your father. He wanted you back because his parents gave you away." Austin said as tears streamed down his face. "No, Austin don't cry. I know you just wanted to keep me safe. I completely understand where you were coming from." I said as I ran over to him and hugged him. "I'm so sorry. But right now, were preparing for a war, a big war. And we have to get ready." Austin said looking down at me. "Wait, a war? Isn't that dangerous?" I said letting go of Austin and looking around. Everybody was exchanging nervous looks. "What is it? What aren't you guys telling me?" I said inspecting all of them. "So, good news and bad news, your the strongest out of all of us and were not gonna be alone. And, we have to train." Noah said rubbing his hands together. "So what's the bad news?" I said walking to the fridge. 

"I didn't get to that yet. The president and your dad are like the most powerful and we wont be able to fight them. Only you and Austin." Noah said. "Oh, and you are the only person who can fight your dad. And just a heads up, your dad is like the most powerful being in the world. Besides you." Mr. Romez said picking up the remote. Everybody had nervous looks on their faces as they continued what they were doing. "Why are you guys so afraid of me?" I said throwing my hands up. "Because, if we get you mad, then you can literally kill us by snapping your fingers, like Thanos. But more powerful." Austin said rolling his eyes. I smiled. "Then don't get me mad." I said as I threw a fireball up and down in my hand. I walked into my old room and jumped on the bed. I smiled and thought about the future an who was my dad really? And was there really a war? Yelling erupted outside. I ran into the living room and the front door was left open. I followed the yelling outside and was stunned at what I saw. I saw the man. My father. The people were yelling and screaming as my father caused destruction and explosion everywhere in the neighborhood. People were running in every direction as fires erupted out of nowhere. There was smoke everywhere with more debris than there was grass. 

I saw Austin running over to me as my father grabbed him and pulled him up to his face. "Where is she?" my dad said as he made Austin point to me. I saw his eyes glow red and he teleported right in front of me. I looked up at him and stuck my tongue out. I teleported away and grabbed Austin. "Come on, we have to get the others, lets go!" I said as I pulled Austin to the other side of the street. I looked at him and realized what he was thinking. "I have to, or else these people will die... I cant let that happen." Austin said as he pulled away from me. By then, every one was gone. Even Mr. and Mrs. Romez and Noah. I turned around and saw Austin being beat up by my dad. I ran towards them then was blasted away by Austin. I looked up and saw him on the ground. He was reaching towards me as a single tear streamed down his face. I felt a rush of adrenaline as I stopped my father in his tracks. 'This feels like an anime movie' I thought to myself. I swatted away the thought and looked up at my dad. "You can't kill him, just, don't kill him." I said as I sat there with Austin sitting up next to me. "Hmm... what is stopping me from killing him right here?" my dad said as he bent do and looked me straight in the eyes. "Me." I said as I body blocked Austin. "Well, I've controlled you before, I can do it again." my dad said as he stood up and smiled. He used his powers and made us both stand up. 

"How about, my life for his." I said as stepped towards him and slapped his hand down. "No! You can't do that! My life isn't nearly as important as yours." Austin said as he put his hand on my shoulder. I turned around and smiled and my smile faded as quickly as it appeared. "Look out!" I said as I pointed to the president behind him. The president grabbed Austin and shot a dart gun a his neck. "Ah!" Austin yelled in pain as he fell to the ground. The president grabbed out an iPad as he did a thumbs up. I ran to Austin and fell to my knees. "What did you do to him?" I said as tear fell down my face. "Oh, in that injection had a little capsule. If you don't keep your end of the bargain, I'll press a button and the stuff in the capsule will be released into his blood which will corrupt his blood cells which will cause them to disintegrate slowly an he would die a long, painful death. Just a suggestion, keep your end of the bargain. You might just save a life." my dad said making a portal. He gestured for me to hurry up. I looked back at Austin and hugged him. "Go, were coming back for you." Austin whispered as he smiled.
