Chapter 6 - Fall
What? What happened? Bria frantically looked around for Alex. The whole class was confused. No one can just disappear into thin air!
But what about the colors? Bria looked over, and still, those floating ribbon-like things danced in the breeze from the small fan.
"How-" Amelia cut her off.
"What else?" She said, a strange light in her eyes. "But magic."

A few minutes ago...
The whole class, Alex had trouble focusing. Something was wrong. It didn't seem bad, just weird.
Someone was here that shouldn't be.
It was like a suction cup in his desk, but a billion times stronger, had appeared. When Alex reached inside to get his notebook-to ahem write notes and totally not draw,- his hand got stuck.
It would've been funny, but, gosh darn, that thing is strong.
His arm was pulled in, then the suction seemed to grow bigger and bigger, so it wasn't just in his desk, it was around it too.
Honestly, being pulled into what was practically a vacuum was better than he had imagined.

"Ah!" Flump. Alex fell on something hard. Sparks were blinking in his eyes. The fall had dazed him.
"Not what was expected," Someone said. "Domino is gone. I'll get Aloe to track him for a bit. I think he might've left here. But he couldn't've..." It was someone with blonde hair, and an orange streak, talking to someone who could've been Alex's dad from 10 years ago.
They passed by Alex, not noticing him. He quickly scrambled behind the large potted plant, the only sign of green in the world of white.
Someone else passed by. It was someone with green tips on the spikes of his hair.
Okay fine, it wasn't the only sign of green. They all had odd rainbow hair colors. At least, drops of them.
Again, someone passed by. Alex caught a snippet of their conversation. The one with brown hair and icy blue streaks whispered, "It was best to end her now. Lotus would only be trouble." Alex's heart dropped to his shoes.
They had killed someone? Just because they would be trouble? Anger surged in him. How could they just talk about murder like that?! Would he be killed too? Or would he be a lab rat for the rest of his life.
That Domino person had escaped. He had to find a way, too.

The whole class was in disarray. Someone had disappeared into thin air. It wasn't possible, it wasn't!
It still had happened.
"Bria, go to the office." Her teacher's voice wavered slightly, but it jolted Bria to her senses. She left the room, made sure no teacher was around, and sprinted to Mrs. Brown's office.
Suddenly, it felt as though all the air was sucked out of the hallway, and Bria was falling through empty blackness.
Down, spiralling down to nothingness.
