Nancy dropped Steve and Asling off back at Steve's house. Upon stepping out of the car Steve's eyes still couldn't quite grasp that the girl who got out of the back seat with him was Asling. She looked so different. It was good different, of course, but still different, nonetheless. Asling followed Steve to the door to which he noticed was ajar. He froze.
"Steve?"
Asling asked from behind him curiously. She noticed the sudden change of demeanor on him.
"What's wrong?"
She added as she tried to look over his shoulder.
"Stay behind me."
He told her.
"Why?"
She asked as he slowly pushed the door open, it creaked loudly as it swung inward.
"Because I think someone is here."
He told her in a whisper.
"I think someone broke in while we were away."
He added, his voice was laced with caution as he stepped inside. He grabbed the first thing he could find to use as a weapon, an umbrella by the door and Asling used her magick to pull her swords from thin air. Steve sighed, he was clearly not going to be able to do much damage with his umbrella unlike Asling and her swords. He slowly walked deeper into the house, Asling walking cautiously behind him. It wasn't until they walked into the kitchen that they saw who was responsible for breaking in to Steve's home.
"Ah there you two are."
They looked up to see Kierran standing in the kitchen pouring a steaming kettle of water into three teacups.
"I was wondering when you would return."
He added, once he finished pouring the water, he snapped his fingers and the kettle vanished from sight.
"Come have some tea."
He said.
"We have much to discuss."

"We're not just going to sit and have tea with you."
Steve hissed, still on edge from the fact that Asling's insane former master broke into his house.
"Why not?"
Kierran asked, looking almost offended.
"Because-"
"Steve,"
Asling said as she stepped out from behind him. She placed a hand on his shoulder, a sign to him for him to stop and let her speak. He sighed, silencing himself and letting her take the lead. She turned from him to Kierran.
"What are you really doing here?"
She asked.
"My don't you look different."
Kierran mused as he grinned at his aprrentice.
"Kierran, don't."
She said.
"Just answer the question."
She added.
"Well,"
He said honestly,
"I wanted to talk to you about this prophecy."
He said and raised his hand into the air, wisps of white magick swirled around his fingers and the cups of tea were raised into the air and delivered into both Asling's and Kierran's hands.
"You do know, if you choose to be the apprentice of the prophecy you will have to kill me."
he said calmly, sipping on his tea.
"Yes."
Asling said, her green eyes narrowed on to him.
"I do."
She said.
"And at this point I think you deserve it."
She added. Kierran laughed coldly.
"Anything for Danu, right?"
He seethed. Asling didn't flinch. Kierran walked closer to her, his cup of tea vanished as he moved to stand right infront of her.
"You can't do it, Asling."
He said.
"I know better then anyone else what you are, you're weak. You can't do it."
He added but to his surprise, Asling spat right on his face. Kierran flinched.
"I thought you were smarter then that."
He added before reaching out to wrap his fingers around her throat and giving it a squeeze. Asling gasped as he choked her. Steve jumped into action. He dropped the umbrella he was holding to the ground and used all his body weight to push Kierran off of Asling.
"Quite the protector you are."
Kierran said with a wicked grin. He opened his mouth to toss another insult at Steve but before the words could fall from his lips Steve threw a harsh punch to his mouth, causing blood to trickle down Kierran's lips. Kierran brought a hand to his busted lips and his fingers touched that painfully familiar warm liquid.
"Get out."
Steve said. Kierran chuckled.
"No."

Kierran pulled his dark sword out of thin air and Steve's eyes widened.
"Shit."
He cursed.
"Shit shit shit."
He added as he stepped back.
"Steve!"
Asling shouted and tossed him one of her swords. The strange hilt and crystal blade was unfamiliar in Steve's hands but it wasn't much different then his trademark bat with nails so he fought with it the best he could as Kierran swung his sword at him. He raised the sword, holding the hilt with both hands, and blocked Kierran's first blow.
"Not bad."
Kierran mused. He brought his sword back swung at him again, this time aiming for Steve's head. Steve blocked him again but barely. He wasn't used to the weight of the sword and it was obvious. Kierran could see this and used it to his advange. Kierran used his magick to knock Steve off of his feet, causing him to stumble back and Kierran knocked the sword right out of his hands causing it to clatter to the ground. Steve was so focused on the sword he didn't see Kierran's first that was gripping the hilt of his blade, swing fiercely at Steve's face knocking him straight in the nose. There was a harsh crack and Steve winced. Kierran brought his sword against him once more, Steve dodged it but the blade still managed to graze his cheek. Unbalanced, and badly hurt, Steve stumbled back again and fell on his back. Kierran brought his sword up and prepared to take the final blow to Steve's heart. He brought his sword down on him, the wolf's prey insight and corned perfectly.
"Prohibere."
Everything froze in time and whisps of magick swirled around Asling's fingers, her eyes glowing. She had frozen the men in time.

"Why are you doing this?"
Asling asked as she stepped forward to her master who was frozen in time due to her spell over him.
"You used a time spell."
Was all Kierran said in response.
"I should be impressed."
He added cruelly.
"What happened to you?"
She asked again.
"Nothing happened to me."
He finally replied, his voice like venom.
"I've always been this way. You were just too naive to see it."
He said. Asling held her swords out, she brought them up at his words and held them in an X shape in front of his throat. One clean swipe and it would all be over. Kierran would be dead and the prophecy would be fulfilled. But then she made a crucial mistake. She looked into his eyes, those same ice blue eyes that saw her through most of her life. Those eyes that trained her and taught her everything that she knew now. Her breathing grew shaky. She could end it right here right now. Kierran laughed, a wicked and evil laugh.
"You can't do it."
He said. Asling's hands shook as her breathing grew shallow. Everything else faded away and in that moment it was just her and her master, the traitor, the backstabber, the wolf. Kierran had always been there for her, like a second father, and now she had to kill him. The prophecy was asking so much of her. She couldn't take it. A single tear fell from her green eyes as her eyelids fluttered to a close and she lowered her head in shame.
"You can't kill me."
Kierran said before he gave another chuckle. Asling let out another shaky breath and her body shook. She raised her head, her eyes looking upon the face of the backstabber and a new emotion took hold of her. One of vengeance and justice. Justice for the world she lost.
"Prohibere Finis."
she said and the time spell ceased, allowing Kierran to move but before he even got the chance to fight Asling kicked him with her foot harshly nailing him in the chest. Kierran fell back, his back made contact with the ground behind him and the wind had been knocked out of him. She plunged her sword down on him next, the blade slicing the floor right next to his head. Kierran flinched, wide eyes looked at the crystal blade that barely missed him before he turned to look up at his apprentice.
"Give me time."
Asling seethed as she pulled the blade back.
"Leave."
She added firmly and Kierran narrowed his eyes at her. He slowly stood, cold eyes on her the whole time.
"I see."
Was all he said before vanishing into thin air.
