Asling used her magick to cast a light up to the moldings around the ceiling that held an inscription on them so that she could read it.

"Here lies the prophecy of Danu."

She said, her ball of light starting at one end of the markings and following along her line of vision as she read.

"The Keys of the future will fall. The apprentice who lived, the mage with no master, the wisest of Wills, the villain turned hero, and the children of another world will lead one of their own to make the most difficult choice that will decide the future of the Magick for generations to come. But a warning, a wolf in sheep's clothing mingles with the flock until sundown when he can strike freely in the darkness of night. The wolf must be sacrificed to wake up Danu, mother of all, and restore what was lost. A conduit will be chosen, forged out of chaos and war to keep the mother's legacy safe. But the mother of all is guarded by a missguided Raven who will not rest until their master receives their victory consuming all worlds in an eternal darkness that reeks of death. The Raven and the Conduit will fight and out of one of them will rise a morning star of the future of tomorrow."

"Mind explaining to me what the hell you just read?"

Steve asked. Asling looked confused, confused beyond reason.

"I-"

She began as she scrunched up her eyebrows in confusion.

"I'm not sure I understand it myself."

She replied.

"It dosen't make sense. It's the prophecy that I know but different."

"Different how?"

Steve asked.

"Well,"

Asling began,

"The prophecy I know certainly didn't say that we would fall."

she noted with an obvious tone of fear in her voice.

"But-"

Steve tried to reason for her and he scoffed at himself for a moment.

"That can't happen."

He said.

"Can it?"

He asked but Asling didn't respond.

"There's more here to be found."

She said softly, walking deeper into the hidden room.

"The answers and secrets to the past are here I know they are."

She added. Upon walking deeper into the hidden room they could see in front of each statue of the original guardians were their respective symbol. For Mercury there was โ˜ฟ for Neptune there was โ™† and so on. Asling stopped and stared at the first Guardian of jupiter. He was a seemingly tall man, as he towered over them but so did all of the statues. In his hand he held a stone image of a lightning bolt and a long beard fell from his face. Under his eyes were tired looking droops of his skin and there were wrinkles on his forehead which Steve assumed meant he was quite old when this carving was made. Like all of the other statues, he seemed to be looking up at the ceiling at something and it wasn't until Asling stepped onto the symbol of Jupiter, โ™ƒ, and it began to glow that the pair knew there was truely something special about this room. But glowing along with the mark on the floor was a matching white mark on Asling's forehead that glistened and glittered in responding light. A beam of light shot from the face of the first Jupiter and up to the ceiling and a scene unfolded before them, a scene of history with the answers they seeked.

The image on the ceiling littered with sparkling crystals fogged up with a mysterious and magical white mist and, like a movie being projected onto a screen, an image was displayed for them. There was a young Kierran, not much younger then Asling was now. His brown hair was much longer and shabbier, his physique was much skinnier, but his crystal blue eyes remained the same. He seemed to have been crying and another boy, who only Asling recognized, joined her young master.

"You miss him don't you?"

Asked the other boy.

"Who's that?"

Steve whispered to Asling.

"My master, Kierran."

She replied.

"When he was very very young."

She added.

"Okay,"

Steve noted.

"Who's the other guy?"

He asked.

"Master Lupin, guardian of Mercury and best friend to Kierran."

She replied and Steve nodded. The figures on the ceiling continued to talk to one another.

"Yes."

Kierran replied.

"I do. A lot."

"Well there's no use in crying about it."

Lupin said. Kierran looked hurt.

"That's not what Jรธrgen would want anyways."

Lupin said as he sat with the boy.

"Who's Jรธrgen?"

Steve asked, nearly pronouncing the name wrong.

"Kierran's master."

Asling replied.

"But this can't be right- this is sounding like Jรธrgen had just passed away- but Kierran always told be he died of old age before Kierran took me as his student."

Steve didn't reply, the two kept watching.

"The guardians said they wouldn't provide me with another master."

Kierran said, looking awfully upset again.

"So?"

Lupin replied.

"So I my future is basically ruined. I won't ever be a true guardian like everyone else, not like you."

Lupin scoffed.

"Kierran, they can't have the full protections of the guardians without a fully trained guardian of Jupiter."

"Exactly."

Kierran replied.

"No,"

Lupin said,

"Isn't it obvious? I mean, it must be why the guardians aren't giving you a new master."

"What?"

Kierran asked flatly.

"Kierran, it's time for you to expand on what Jรธrgen taught you and continue your training on your own."

Kierran looked blankly back at his friend.

"It's time for you to teach yourself."

The vision on the ceiling shifted and changed to one that was no longer an image of a young Kierran, He was now looking not much older than Steve, and had aged handsomely. Stubble grew on his face and his physique had filled in nicely. He wasn't a boy but rather a young man. He was in his study and his nose was deep in a book that Asling didn't recognize but she did notice the way that Kierran's eyes were filled with darkness as he read the pages. His fingers tingled with wisps of darkness- dark magick. Kierran was muttering something to himself, a spell. He seemed to be totally lost in focus until his door burst wide open. Lupin came striding in and Kierran flinched as he quickly dropped the book and hid it, his eyes returning to normal and the dark magick fading from his hands.

"Do you ever knock?"

Kierran hissed.

"Sorry- I just wanted to see if you wanted to meet Violetta and Nephina by the bay, it was their idea, but they wanted to see if we could go for a walk with them and-"

Lupin paused, noticing the half hidden book under Kierran's bed.

"What were you doing?"

He asked.

"Nothing."

Kierran said tiredly.

"Just studying is all."

He replied. Lupin didn't seem all that convinced but kept talking nonetheless.

"All the more reason for you to step away from the books and come with me and the girls for a walk!"

He continued.

"I know Violetta would love your company."

He added, giving his friend a wink.

"Fine fine, I'll go."
