Epilogue
The next day, at Everlasting Love Wedding Shop, Seokjin, Jimin, and the entire staff were busy with a client who needed to rush their wedding. Jungkook arrived at the shop and took a deep breath before getting out of the car. He looked at Habeom.
"Habeom, what do I look like?" Jungkook asked, making sure everything went smoothly between him and Seokjin.
"Hyung, what answer do you want? The lie one or the truth one?" Habeom was unsure about his boss's mood today.
Jungkook smiled with anger inside. He wanted to punch Habeom in the face, but he chose to take a deep breath and continue. "Either way, make sure your answer is acceptable."
"Well, you're good-looking, boss, but are you sure about this?" Habeom asked.
"I'm sure," Jungkook replied, getting out of the truck with full confidence.
Namjoon, while looking at the papers, saw Jungkook's car. He approached Jimin and whispered to his wife. Jimin looked outside and saw Jungkook's pickup truck.
"Are we going to tell Jinnie that Jungkook is here?" Jimin asked, sensing that something wasn't going to be good.
Namjoon smiled and answered, "No need. I want to watch their rattle and bawling." Jimin sighed, praying that there wouldn't be a war.
Jungkook entered the shop and immediately approached Seokjin, who was putting a sample cloth on a gown. Everyone's eyes were focused on Jungkook.
"Seokjin," Jungkook called Seokjin's attention, but Seokjin ignored him and continued his work.
"Nayeon, let's check your gown," Seokjin said, still ignoring Jungkook. "Looks like I need to cut this line to accentuate your curves," Seokjin commented, scanning Nayeon's gown. Nayeon was uncomfortable with Jungkook's stare at Seokjin.
"Ah, Seokjin Oppa, that guy," Nayeon pointed at Jungkook.
"Better to put laces behind," Seokjin said, still ignoring Jungkook.
Jungkook took a deep breath and asked, "Is it true, Seokjin? That you and Taehyung aren't going to get married?"
Jimin and Namjoon went to the balcony where they could see Seokjin and Jungkook conversation below.
"Oh my God, you're getting married?" Nayeon was surprised by Jungkook's question.
Seokjin glanced at Jungkook but instead of answering the question, he said, "Wait, I'll get some laces." He left, continuing to ignore Jungkook.
"Why, Seokjin?" Jungkook followed Seokjin.
"Please, Jungkook, leave. We have many clients today," Seokjin said, walking away from Jungkook. However, Jungkook grasped his forearms.
"I need to know," Jungkook pleaded. Seokjin removed his grasp.
"Maybe I love to be single forever, and it's my destiny to be single. Alright," Seokjin said sarcastically. Jungkook looked at Habeom, signaling him to keep approaching.
Seokjin fixed Nayeon's waistline. When Jungkook said, "You're not going to be single forever,"
Seokjin smiled sarcastically. "Really?"
"I'm going to marry you," Jungkook said seriously. Seokjin accidentally pinned Nayeon and screamed. Seokjin apologized to Nayeon. "If I need to kneel down, just accept my proposal. I'll do it," Jungkook declared with determination. Both Jimin and Namjoon were happy with Jungkook's determination. Seokjin gazed at Jungkook. "I love you, Seokjin." Everyone in the shop felt Jungkook's love, even the couple who were about to get married. They were just watching a romantic scene. They hugged each other.
Jungkook knelt down and took the velvet box containing a diamond ring. "Seokjin, will you marry me?" Everyone went silent, as if time had stopped. Seokjin approached the kneeling Jungkook.
Everyone was shocked because they thought Seokjin would say yes. Instead, a big blow punch hit Jungkook's nose.
Habeom caught his boss. "Why?" Nayeon asked curiously about Seokjin's actions. Seokjin took a deep sigh and left the shop like nothing had happened.
Habeom lifted Jungkook's body. "Go on, boss," Jungkook nodded even though his nose hurt. He followed Seokjin outside the shop. Everyone was going to follow them, but Habeom closed the door and stopped the people, letting Seokjin and Jungkook alone.
"Seokjin, wait," Jungkook managed to catch Seokjin's arms. Seokjin struggled against Jungkook's grip. "Seokjin, please let's talk."
Seokjin's anger exploded. "Do you know, I swallowed my pride, just to ask about the kiss before? I agreed with Taehyung's proposal!" Seokjin's tears flowed. "Do you know how hard it was for me to make that decision? To ask or beg you to stop the proposal? And what did you do? Stand there doing nothing!" He sniffed and continued. "You know my heart broke when you said we were nothing. My whole world crumbled afterward. Why are you asking today? Huh?" Jungkook felt guilty about his decision to avoid Seokjin. He decided to avoid answering the question.
"Seokjin, I'm just thinking about your relationship between you and Taehyung," Jungkook said. Seokjin became even angrier.
"Stop giving me a full bullshit answer. Straight to the point. I have many clients to work with, and you're wasting my time. To my least expected, give me the answer, not from your head. It should be from your heart!" Seokjin pointed at his head and then at his heart.
"Because, I'm an asshole and also a coward jerk," Jungkook admitted.
Seokjin calmed down, at least he had admitted it. "Why?"
"I'm sorry, Seokjin. Do you know, the day I saw you with Taehyung, I thought I gave you the happiness you deserved. And that time you asked me about the kiss, I felt that you were giving away your happiness once you knew the truth about my feelings. I decided to move away because the more I saw your smile in Taehyung's arms, the more it broke my heart," Jungkook stated sadly. Seokjin sobbed, not knowing Jungkook's true feelings. "And the proposal, it's not a rebound or to save you from the curse of your family... it's my love, my love for you." Seokjin wiped his tears.
"What are you implying? I need your help?" Seokjin asked, Jungkook kept staring at Seokjin's eyes.
"Seokjin, I almost lost you because I'm an asshole and a coward. I'm afraid to be in love with you," Jungkook said. Seokjin scoffed at Jungkook's answer.
"And now?" Seokjin asked back, a minute of silence between them.
"I'm more afraid of losing you forever," Jungkook replied. Seokjin averted his gaze.
"Why did you love me?" Jungkook scoffed and answered.
"I don't know," Seokjin got angered by Jungkook's reply.
"You don't know!!" Seokjin yelled.
"I don't know, it just happened. It just hit me," Jungkook took a deep breath. "Seokjin, I don't ever believe in true love, but I think I've fallen for you." Seokjin looked at Jungkook's eyes. "Seokjin, I don't push you to love me, okay. All I want you to know is how much I love you. I'm sorry."
"Never say sorry for loving me," Seokjin sobbed and hugged Jungkook. Jungkook kissed Seokjin's head. Everyone in the shop witnessed the everlasting proposal and clapped behind them.
"About the proposal," Jungkook smiled and put out the red velvet box containing the diamond ring. Jungkook knelt down. "Kim Seokjin, I, Jungkook Jeon, would you accept my proposal to be with me forever until death do us part?" Seokjin smiled and said,
"I do."
~~~~~~
On the day of the marriage, they planned the wedding in the open field behind Kim's Manor. Everyone was clapping and happy. Namjoon and Jimin held their twins. Jungkook's father and Leeteuk came, and he never forgot to bring more lobster as promised.
Judge Kim, holding his wife's photo, said, "Jinnie is happy now." All Seokjin's family was happy, wearing their colorful dresses.
Taehyung, along with Hoseok, arrived. Jimin and Namjoon greeted them. Both of them were surprised that after the breakup, Hoseok and Taehyung were in a relationship. The wedding started. Jungkook nervously waited, and Habeom patted him.
Seokjin walked towards the aisle, wearing his dream wedding dress. He was overjoyed that his dream had come true.
The moment of vows came. "Do you, Jeon Jungkook, accept Kim Seokjin as your beloved spouse for wealth and for worst until death do part?" The priest asked Jungkook.
"I do," Jungkook answered, putting the wedding ring on Seokjin's finger.
"Do you, Kim Seokjin, accept Jeon Jungkook as your beloved spouse for better or for worse until death do us part?" The priest asked Seokjin.
"I do," Seokjin answered, putting the wedding ring on Jungkook's ring finger.
"I now pronounce you a beloved partner. You may kiss him," the priest said. Both Seokjin and Jungkook shared an intimate kiss, and everyone clapped.
After 4 years...
"Seokjin, why do you need to move to Busan? Everything is alright here. We have many customers in Seoul besides you. You're the best designer here," Jimin begged Seokjin not to leave.
Namjoon sighed to his lover. "Jimin, Seokjin needs to move to Busan to be with Jungkook and also manage the Everlasting Love in Busan. You don't want to have a new branch of our store," Namjoon explained, but Jimin was like a baby who had separation anxiety from Seokjin.
"Jiminie, Jungkook already left his shop to Habeom to manage it. Also, Jungkook already built a shop there. Additionally, Namjoon already provides a business venture to that place," Seokjin explained.
"Jiminie, I already filed the business proposal there, and it's already finished. Seokjin will work on that," Namjoon said. Jimin pouted at Namjoon's explanation.
"Jiminie, you can see us at the Kim Manor weekend reunion. Besides, aside from Jungkook and Habeom, we'll also have Appa and Uncle Leeteuk there, where we always look forward to the seafood they brought," Seokjin smiled.
"Jinnie, promise me you never miss the reunion. Also, Hoseok and Taehyung's wedding," Seokjin laughed.
"How can I forget that wedding when you're the one who's going to design their wedding? Of course. I would never miss it," Seokjin assured.
"Jimin, stop being stubborn and let Seokjin go. Jungkook is here," Namjoon said, removing Jimin from Seokjin's waist.
Jungkook entered the shop. He greeted Namjoon but noticed Jimin's sharp gaze.
"What's wrong? Did I miss something?" Jungkook asked.
"Jiminie is just angry because we need to move to Busan to build another branch," Seokjin explained to his husband.
"Don't worry, Jiminie. I'll make sure my beloved will be safe. Besides, one of the reasons Jinnie wants to move to Busan is because of the lobsters," Jungkook jokes, hitting Jungkook's chest playfully.
"Shush," Everyone laughed.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Hoseok and Taehyung's wedding.
Everyone was excited. Taehyung kept fixing his necktie because of his nervousness. Jungkook assured him as a best friend that everything would be alright. The wedding started. Jungkook and Seokjin were the guest sponsors. Little Jiwon, who was already four years old, was wearing a cute little angel costume and walking down the aisle as a flower girl, because Taehyung and Hoseok had decided to have an angels theme wedding. Namnam, the other twin, was the ring bearer. Jimin was beyond happy watching his creations get married and his children walking down the aisle.
Lia, one of the new designers at Everlasting Love Shop, was the maid of honor and also wished to be a bride. Kai, the new photographer, along with Habeom's guidance, was capturing the moments. Seokjin watched and remembered the old days when he dreamed of getting married.
While the ceremony and the priest were talking, Seokjin whispered, "Another wedding, another happy ending."
Jungkook rolled his eyes and scoffed. "What do you mean?" Seokjin frowned. "Another day, another waste of a lifetime. Or, more accurately, another wedding, another nightmare."
Seokjin pinched Jungkook's nipples and felt the pain, Aunt Yoon Hee scolded them. Both of them laughed.
Seokjin was happy that he already found his LOVE to be Jungkook's side and its called...
MAGICAL LOVE
THE END...
