You were getting ready with Hermione and Ginny. Hermione was going in a pretty gown that was a soft pink and baby blue. (A/N: I had to include the book and the movie colors for her dress. Sorry not sorry.) Ginny was going in a green satin dress. I was going in a maroon dress accented with a gold belt.

"So you really are going to the ball with my brother? What do you see in him?" Ginny asked me, cringing a bit.

You laughed a bit. "Oh, Gin, when you fall in love, you'll see that sometimes it doesn't matter. But we all see the way you look at Harry." You smirked at the third year whose cheeks flushed pink.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Y/n," She turned away as she did her makeup.

"Sure you don't," You smiled and turned to Hermione. "So how about your date with Krum? How did that happen?"

Hermione blushed but happily replied. "Well, Victor had asked me to watch him practice flying by the lake while I studied and of course I said yes. He was practicing and I looked up and he had a banner waving while he was flying. It was quite romantic." She replied, gazing off.

"Well, that sounds lovely." You replied. "Ron asked me by sneaking out of the dorms in the middle of the night to have a picnic with me in the astronomy tower." You smiled, remembering that night.

"Oh merlin, look at the time, I was supposed to be walking with Victor into the ball. I'm going to be late." Hermione grabbed her wand and flicked it, putting it up in a very elegant hairstyle.

You and Ginny grabbed your heels and ushered Hermione out of the common room and to the great hall.
