"Knock Knock old man," Zlone said while knocking on the door of a large home. Claus simply stared at the house for a second. It looked to be two floors from the height and had four windows on the front face of the house. Looking through a few, there were book cases all lined up along the house.
"Well, guess we're just walking in," Zlone said after waiting a bit. He then had a small mouse like creature appear on his hand. It was incased in a light green glow as it scampered off Zlone and under the door. Sure enough, Claus and Zlone heard the unlocking of the door, the mouse crawled back under the door and up Zlone again before disappearing. Zlone opened the door and began to walk in as Claus stared in awe.
"I thought you said you weren't a mage," Claus said to Zlone as they walked in.
"Well... I guess I'll have to explain later," Zlone said to Claus before walking ahead.
"Sit here, I'll go and find Mr. Pheuso," Zlone said point at a chair. He then wandered upstairs leaving Claus alone. Claus decided that he should take another look at the grimoire. Nothing had changed through, just the one spell. Claus decided to get up and move about again. He wandered into what looked like a kitchen and saw a single stove still on. The fire on top of it was getting out of hand and was slowly spreading. Claus decided to take out his grimoire and try out the spell again.
"AE Augmentation Chance," Claus chanted. The magic circle appeared below him like the last time but nothing appeared to happen.
"AE Augmentation Chance," Claus chanted. Zlone has told Claus earlier that repetition is the crux of Chance Magic, wasting mana if not able to be performed the first time. Claus then sensed as the room got cooler. The flame was now dying out and there was residue of water left behind.
"I heard you chanting, now's not the time to be practicing magic," Claus could hear Zlone call down.
"Sorry, there was a fire going on the stove so I put it out," Claus called back. Zlone then went quiet for a bit. Claus heard Zlone begin to run around the house before a light green wolf went running out of the house.  Zlone then came running after it and stopped in the doorway.
"I caught a hint about where Pheuso is so I'll go out and find him, he might need help with groceries or something. Head back to the Hotel and I'll pick you up then," Zlone instructed before heading off. Claus noticed something though, the burn mark on his arm that Zlone was trying to cover in a coy way. His tone also seemed a bit fake so instead of following orders,
Claus began to look around the house, specifically where he heard Zlone come from. Up there, he pasted a bedroom, and a bath. Claus passed those after brief glances inside. He then came upon the library and saw scorch marks around the place. Claus went inside and began to look around. There were rows and shelves filled to the brim with both books and grimoires. There was also a desk and a few tables around for reading purposes. The house seemed surprisingly big to Claus on the inside for the ordinary house that the exterior showed. There were a few candles lit around the room with open books by them. Claus moved forward before seeing what caused Zlone to run. A large pill of ashes left before one of the book cases.
"Ah.... ahhhh!" Claus yelled as the scream escaped him. A number of questions began to fill his head, none of them he wanted to know the answer to. There was no time before before Claus felt a seeing burn around his waist. Looking down, there was a strand of fire beginning to tighten around him. Claus was now panicking, as he spun his head around. The fire was coming from the candles and seemed to try and trap Claus. Claus was still trying to break free however, crying out from the burns. It took him a moment but he then tried his only spell again.
"AE Augmentation Chance," Claus stammered as the water vapor in the air condensated onto the candles putting them out and stopping the spell. Claus took a quick moment to examine himself and saw the scorch marks now on his clothes. It burned still but he began to run out of the house.
"I have to find Zlone," Claus stammered to himself as he run. He flung the door open and began to make a break for it before the burning sensation hit again. Claus looked at the lashes of fire around him again, now lifting him up.
"Fire Chain, a Fire Element Spell in the category of Flame Manipulation," Claus heard a voice begin to speak. Claus turned his head to see a tall lean man with red glowing grimoire floating before him. His face and hands were covered in soot as we wore pants, boots, and a jacket out of a leather like black material.  The fire was coming out of the lamps hanging by the door of Mister Pheuso's house.
"There's more to the enchantments though. Flame Sense is another category of Fire Elemental Spell. A spell called, Whispered Fire allows me to hear noises surrounding the fires I've enchanted, such as the ones upstairs. Noise Activation though is an entirely different element of magic, Sound Element, that allows for a spell, such as Fire Chain to activate upon hearing something," the man spoke in a sophisticated manner.
"AE Augmentation Chance," Claus chanted putting out the lanterns and stoping the chains.
"Oh so you are a mage?" the man piked up.
"Good! ShE Transparency and Gaia Core!" the man called out as a shadowy vail appeared around the area and fire burst up from the ground.
"AE Augmentation Chance!" Claus called immediately.
"Now now kid, you don't wanna waste your mana or even the vapor around us. You'll run out like that old man!" the guy chided as some of the many flames were put out.
"Claus do you did kill the that mage we were going to visit!" Claus shouted back.
"Oh of course, why else would you be in such a predicament?" the man smugly responded.
Claus was visibly mad now instead of scared or frightened like moments ago. He flipped out his grimoire, now glowing again.
"EcoTerrain: Lake," Claus shouted as a larger magic circle engulfed the area turning the ground into a grassy lake.

FE Fire Chain
MC: 2
Uses existing or created fire and shape it into a rope or chain about to move about and rap around objects holding them, while also burning them.

FE Whispered Fire
MC: 2 Continuous
Allows the user to hear any noise created around previously enchanted fire.

SE Noise Activation
MC: 4
Allows for spells cast alongside itself to automatically active via hearing noise around it.

ShE Transparency
MC: 8
Makes objects within an area transparent to those outside the area.

Gaia Core
MC: 6
Pulls heat from the Earth's inner layers to ignite the land.
