I woke up with a headache. It hurts so much. I couldn't remember what happened. I opened my eyes to find myself in a hard crystal floor. Looking aroumd a bit, it looked like I was in some kind of library, and it was larger than the one from Ponyville. From across the room, I could see my friends. They seemed to be unconscious. I start to get worried. What happened? I thought. I stand up and quickly stretch my body. From the bottom of my hooves to the top of my wings. Wait... my what?!

I looked at my back, and sure enough, I got a pair of wings. And the fact that they look like alicorn wings instead of pegasus wings is not helping me with my panic attack.

"Ohnoohnoohnoohnoohnoohnoohnoohnoohnohno!" I start to sprint across the room. "This isn't possible, I couldn't get wings overnight! And I didn't even do anything that could be considered princess-like, so that's off the list. Oh how could this have happened how could this have happened how could this have happened?!" I keep talking to myself when Rainbow Dash started to grumble in her sleep.

"Mhh, Twilight...let me sleep..." Rainbow started to roll around. She probably thought that she was in her bed. I mentally rolled my eyes and nudged her with my hooves.

"Rainbow Dash this is serious! Everypony's unconscious, we are in a random place, and I became an alicorn!" That seemed to jolt her awake.

"YOU'RE A WHAT?!" She started to fly up from suddenly waking up, and I opened my new wings to show her. " HOW THE HAY DID THAT HAPPEN?!"

"I don't know, I just woke up like this! And be quiet. We don't know who else is here." Rainbow landed at the ground and turned around to see the others waking up. They all somewhat had the same reactions.

After we all calmed down, we tried to remember what happened.

"So... any ideas?" I asked. Pinkie suddenly perked up.

"OH I GOT SOMETHING!" We all sudden my got exited. "Oh, wait no, that was during Candence' s wedding, and that was 3 months ago, oopsy!" We all grunted at that.

"Well, whatever happened," Applejack started. "we should get out of here. Ah have a feeling that whoever captured us must want something. And since Twi here is an alicorn, they probably want something from a princess."

Shoot, she has a point. I thought.

"AJ's right. We should find a way out." I say, and we start to head out when Rarity suddenly got everyone's attention.

"What in Celestia's name is this? It's absolutely gorgeous!" Fluttershy was already next to her, staring at the object. (Poor Fluttershy, she didn't get the credit.)

It was a huge mirror. The rim of it appeared to be a purple horseshoe with pink gemstones on it. There was also a top, that appeared to be the same mirror, but upside down, with the picture of a mare in front of it. Rarity was right, it was beautiful, and strangely familiar too. I got curious. Why was it in the corner of the library? And so well hidden too. I started to approach the mirror, and I was surprised to find what I saw. My entire body was covered in bruises, like I was in an intense fight. Looking at my own body, it wasn't covered in bruises at all. I know my friends could see it too, and the same image appeared in the mirror. All of us looking beat up, while in reality, we are just fine.

"I really think we should get out." Fluttershy says. She seemed really freaked out. The faster we get out, the better.

We try to find an exit to the library, and then we freaze up. Somepony got inside. And we stared at each other for a while. This mare had a light purple coat, with amethyst eyes. Her name is a combination of purple and cyan. She was also a unicorn. We had a moment of silence. She felt...off. I don't feel like we should trust her.

"Uhh, hey Twilight." The mare said, breaking the silence. "Aren't you suppose to be giving classes right now?"

"Classes?" I responded. I backed away a bit. "What classes?"

"The classes you all teach. At the school." The mare responded.

"We don't teach at a school." Rainbow Dash says wary of the mare.

"Yes you do. The school that's literally right next door. Are you all alright?"

"We'll be alright if you tell us what in tarination is going on!" Applejack says, and she stood in a fighting stance.

"...You are all joking, right? Well, very funny everypony." We all gave her a somber look. "You're actually serious, are you?"

"Um, I'm sorry," Fluttershy suddenly said. "But, who are you?"

The mare was in shock to say the least. She took a moment to snap back to reality.

"I-I'm Starlight Glimmer, and I have been living here for 2 years now. Do you really not remember me?" She seemed really hurt. I kinda feel bad for her.

"No, sorry darling. We actually just woke up here without knowing where we are." Rarity said, as she tried to confront Starlight.

"Really? What was the last thing you remember?" Starlight asked, taking a step forward.

"Last thing I remember was... literally going to sleep." Rainbow stated. "Though, there was a weird feeling that I got in the middle of the night..."

"Hey, Ah had a feeling too!" AJ said. We may have a lead!

"OH MY GOSH! ME TOO!" Pinkie said-I mean-yelled.

"Did we all have a feeling?" Rarity asked.

"Actually, I don't remember feeling weird in the middle of the night." I say, trying to remember if I actually did or not. Starlight seemed lost in thought. Then, she perked up, like a lightbulb appered above her.

"I think I may know someone who could help. Meanwhile, you should talk to Spike. He's in the kitchen making some food. I'll be right back." Starlight said. Then she went into the corner where we found the mirror.

"Are we sure about this, 'Starlight' person? I get a bad feeling about her." Applejack says, as she starts heading to the exit.

"MAYBE SHE WAS JUST SOME MEANY BACK THEN, NOW SHE ALL SUPER DUPER NICE! LIKE NIGHTMARE MOON, OR DISCORD!" Pinkie, again, yelled.

"I hope you're right Pinkie." Rainbow said, still wary of Starlight. We all then headed out of the library, me being the last one. Before I left the room, I could barely hear the sound of someone traveling with magic...
